A wonderful villa in a beautiful setting

We have just returned from a wonderful 10 days at Casa Tranquilla. It has everything that we needed ( a family of 7 from a 1-70 year old!) The pool area and terrace area is second to none and we had hours of fun at all times of the day. The villa is large and we had plenty of room. We had lovely days out in Loule, Villamora and Albufiera. A car is essential. Taxis are available but they took some time to arrive and couldn’t always find the house! Communication with the owners and their representative was excellent We would definitely like to return at some point!

fantastic stay agian

This was our third visit to the villa and again we had a fantastic stay just like coming home. We would fully recommend this villa has all the home comforts and very well equipped. A car would be my recommendation for visits to supermarkets and the marina in Villamoura and the surrounding area.

Superb quality villa with every luxury.

This was our third visit to this fabulous Villa. It is a credit to its owners, always very clean and immaculate in every area. The views are to die for and the peace and "tranquility" just perfect. As the description states a car is advisable for trips to Loule and nearby Vilamoura with lovely beaches, restaurants especially surrounding the Marina. Just a perfect retreat for a relaxing luxurious break ! We will be returning often.

Casa Tranquila

Belle villa dans un endroit calme sauf lorsque le chien du voisin aboie la nuit. Prix un peu élevé au regard des prestations notamment piscine non éclairée le soir ce qui casse le charme lors d’un repas sur la terrasse.

Fantastic stay

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the aptly named Casa Tranquila. Villa location, whilst away from it all, was perfect and afforded fantastic views. Both inside and outside spaces were vast and were kept very clean and tidy. There was everything in the villa that we could have wanted. TV and WiFi signals were fine.Communication throughout the booking process and during our stay was brilliant. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your amazing villa. We definitely plan to return.

Summer holiday

Nice location on what appears to be a luxury hillside, lovely views which was one of the reasons we booked it. Very quiet and most of the garden area was well maintained apart from an old carriage and rusted metal table and chairs - bit of a shame as space could be well used. The pool has seen better days with a constant collection of mosaic tiles appearing of the bottom of the pool which were then added to the rest in the living room bureau cabinet however, kept clean by the pleasant pool man. There are plenty of loungers around the pool and the corner settle is nice in the shade but, again has been through a lot of use. We spent evenings in as we are not adventurous and that’s our preference, the kitchen is well equipped and we added to the many stock items already in the cupboard + point. Plenty of pots n pans etc. The living room has a new corner sofa which was lovely and limited TV, if sky channels matter to you then forget it. The master has only a double rather than a king which is a shame if you’re used to more space, the en-suite is nice with the spa bath. During our stay one of the twin rooms air con stopped working but thankfully we had a spare room to move in to so wasn’t a problem as such for us. If your paranoid about security the electric gates are great and also the added ability to lock the gate from the driveway into the patio is reassuring however, the house alarm is not in use and it’s preferable to leave the wooden bar in situ behind the front doors and to exit via the side utility area. The main shopping centre La Mar is only 15 mins drive away and near to Aldi/Lidl which is cheaper than Continente in Loule but that’s a personal choice.

Hi Liesl. Thank you for your review although having always received 5 star reviews, we are disappointed that you chose to only give us a 3 star review. We have notified our gardener about the missing tiles in the pool and these are being repaired. The old carriage is a traditional Portuguese gypsy cart and whilst it has seen better days, we have chosen to keep it in the garden to add a bit of rustic charm and the old table and chairs are generally not used as there is plenty of seating available near to the house. We are also in the process of changing our satellite package. Unfortunately due to satellites being moved, most of Portugal lost the sky channels but we have found a solution to this now and will be installing sky via broadband shortly. We do hope that you enjoyed your stay and we are sorry that we felt it necessary to withhold some of your security deposit. Unfortunately the bedding was so damaged by candle wax that it all had to be replaced. We look forward to welcoming you back to Casa Tranquila. Kind regards Julie & Lincoln

It does what it says on the tin, Case Tranqulia (Quiet Home)

Where to begin? Our stay at Casa Tranquila was wonderful from start to finish, the Villa is fabulous, plenty of room inside and out. Everything was clean, tidy and very well set out. The setting is beautiful with well maintained gardens and panoramic views as far as the eye can see. We had 9 nights in the villa and did not want to leave at the end of our holiday, will definitely be booking again, hopefully in the not too distant future. Big thank you to Sarah for all her help and advice on where to go and what to do. Definate 5 stars from The Fett Family. Thank you.

absolutely wonderful

A lovely villa with a lovely view in a lovely location. Stayed there in June and returned in September and will again in 2019. Its fantastic with every home comfort in a lovely setting. The house is immaculate and has everything needed for a perfect holiday. The owners are very caring and make sure everything is just as it should throughout the stay. We highly recommend this place as just the perfect relaxing luxury holiday !

Perfection

Perfect stay
