Dario, our host, was phenomenal. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy the stay as if it were in my own home. Every detail was covered w/ precision. Dario loves what he does, he’s proud of his craft, and it translates into his care for his clients.

👍🏾👍🏾From the get-go, Dario was prompt w/ his responses and answered every inquiry diligently.
***👍🏾👍🏾Shared bathroom: I was weary about shared facilities at first BUT, it was a non-issue once I had arrived. There was privacy as if it were my home. Towels, toiletries, and a hair dryer were provided in a spacious bathroom.
👍🏾👍🏾Directions provided by Dario were exact. Travel to Dario’s home from the Lisbon Airport via Uber, taxi, Metro, and/or Bus.
—I purchased transit day passes which allowed unlimited use of the Bus, Metro, and Tram systems.
—The 797 bus is only steps away.
—The Anjos Metro station is a 6-10min. walk
👍🏾👍🏾Dario met me at his front door and helped carry my luggage up to the 2nd-floor. There is no elevator, so, pack lightly.
A museum-like gallery greeted me into a beautiful, clean home w/ an abundance of wall art. Art resides everywhere!!!
The art represents Dario’s travel adventures and if you have time to spare, he will indulge you w/ stories.
👍🏾👍🏾Dario quickly registered my passport (as it customary to do so when traveling abroad) and sat down for a thorough orientation of sorts. He provided a personalized map of Lisbon and recommended tons of places, as per my interests. He suggested cultural and historical sites as well as restaurant, bar, or lounge/club locations. Dario was on-point w/ making suggestions. We explored everything he mentioned and enjoyed every single spot.
👍🏾👍🏾If you’re traveling on a healthy, realistic budget, Dario should be your guide. There is no reason to spend money unnecessarily to thoroughly, w/ authenticity, enjoy beautiful Lisboa.
👍🏾👍🏾Finally, I was shown to my private two-room oasis. What a beautifully appointed space!!!
—It is actually set up for a family/group of 4-5/6 people including children. Two bedrooms, a loft space, and a small private balcony is spectAcular w/ plenty of storage and mini-bars (extra $$).
—Dario’s home is in a residential building and he prefers family-oriented travelers and those seeking well-rounded, intellectual travel experiences.
—PARTY PEOPLE SHOULD STAY AWAY 🤪
👍🏾👍🏾I did not spend much time in other areas (communal) of the #TravelersHomeB but there was a full kitchen and dining area, a sitting area w/ a city view, and a living room w/ a television and lots of viewing options, should you desire.
👍🏾👍🏾Dario was the most gracious host to open up his personal home to me. I wholeheartedly recommend #TravelersHomeB to families and the intellectual travelers looking for a well-rounded experience in Lisboa. Dario is the best!!!
