Helena and Carlos were absolutely fantastic hosts! Helena was very responsive to all my questions and very accommodating. Carlos greeted us at the door and explained all the things in the apartment. The apartment was clean and spacious along with great views of the little golden gate. The supermarket was maybe a 5 min walk and it is very close to the city elevators, restaurants, and shops. ProTip: A taxi ride from airport to the apartment should be between 10-15€ (depending on time of day and bags) If it's more than that, ask for the complaints books bc a known scam is triple charging tired tourists from the airport.

We stayed here in September and it is a great apartment. Located near the castle, the views out across Lisbon were special (the steep hill might not suit everyone but Lisbon is a hilly city and the 2 elevators help with the climb). Easy to get to from the metro station (Helena the owners directions were very easy to follow) and well located within walking distance for many areas. The apartment was clean and well presented and is located close to the supermarket for those essentials. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances and utensils needed for breakfast and the occasional meal in. The rooms are spacious and the two bathrooms are a bonus. Would recommend for anyone planning on visiting Lisbon and a good price for a small family/group staying together.

Overall, this is a great appartment, great location and view! I can recommend it highly to travellers without handicap. Helena was very professional, she welcomed us with a bottle of wine, recommended restautants and assisted us in organizing a cab back to the airport. A few minor comments: The 2 double beds are a bit small (queen size, 140cm only) if you want to use them as a double bed. The third bedroom had stock beds. The kitchen was well equipped with respect to dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, great stove and oven, but there was no coffee machine (although there were plenty of paper filters). Some plates and cups were chipped . The bath room and shower, however, will need more attention, particular the black fungus in the shower.

We were made to feel very welcome by Helena. She gave us lots of really helpful information that ensured a really good stay in Lisbon. She also offered to and arranged for a taxi on our last day. The apartment was very clean and spacious and contained everything we needed. The view was really amazing and we were also impressed with the location. I would definitely book this apartment again and would strongly recommend it to others.

A group of 4 of us stayed in the apartment for 5 nights. We were met there by Paula - despite the fact that we arrived in Lisbon at about 9.30pm. Thank you. The location is perfect - so many parts of Lisbon are easy to get to from here - on foot or by one of the many - and mad - trams that run across the city. There are many great bars and restaurants in the area - we didn't manage to visit them all despite heroic efforts and a supermarket is about 5 minutes walk away. The apartment is well furnished, equipped and very comfortable. Beds are comfortable and the bedding and towels are of good quality. The 'block' it is in is old and full of character. We loved the tiles and wooden staircase. The icing on the cake is the view from the living/dining room over the west side of the city and out to the bridge and the river Tagus - we never tired of it. Thoroughly recommend this - but be prepared for the hills and steps - damage limitation for the obligatory Pastel de Nata - custard tarts from heaven........

good: - clean - fantastic view & nice balcony - spacy - everything you need e.g. in the kitchen - very nice and reliable agent (Helena) not so good: - free parking close to the appartment is difficult (parking at 20€/night in nearby parkhouse) - some of the walls needs fresh painting... Summary: Very good. Recommend.

Great size flat for the 3 of us. Loads of room and very comfortable. Lovely view from the small balcony across the main part of the centre. Location is just below the Castillo with a supermarket within 5 minutes away (via a lift). Bathroom and facilities are top notch and have everything you need. Bonus are the travel books which help aid the visit.

This apartment was the best that i have stayed at since i started using airbnb over a year ago. I was traveling with two other friends and we all loved this place. It was spacious, clean, well prepared in a great location, and had an amazing view of Lisbon. We could not have asked for more from this apartment. There were playing cards, maps, visitor guides, a full kitchen, towels, and more! Great place to stay i would recommend it to everyone.
