This apartment is very spacious, with all facilities and nice bathrooms. Kitchen is very well equipped with coffee makers, toaster, washing machine and dishwasher. Furnished for the rental market, we found the three piece suite (leather) uncomfortable but functional. The apartment has a large balcony with full sun for most of the day, which is reached through patio doors, which we found extremely difficult to open. When mentioning this to the owner we were told "Because of salty air and humidity the patio door should be fixed time by time." The building is shared with the hotel next door and we did use their facilities, there is a good size pool which was well used. The bed in the main bedroom was not very comfortable, but the single beds in the second bedroom were ok. As long as you don't expect memory foam or sprung edge it will be ok. The location was great for us. We had a hire car for the duration of our stay, but even without, the Airport bus stop is just outside, and the local bus terminates just along the road. Taxis are easy enough to call (reception will arrange) and their prices are reasonable. There is a good walkway along the seafront, and Camares de Lobos is just a short walk. We stayed for four weeks plus, and we felt the comfort levels let this apartment down. As mentioned already, it is furnished for holiday lets.

We have enjoyed our stay here for the last two years and plan to stay again next year.Very comfortable with a large balcony and a great view.

Fantastic apartment, very clean, very spacious and well equipped with modern decor and beautiful views of the Atlantic. Massive balcony which also overlooks the pool. Was greeted on arrival by Nyara who was very friendly, helpful and informative about the surrounding area. Several cafes/ restaurants nearby or within walking distance and also much more choice in nearby Lido area or even in Funchal itself. Taxis were very reasonably priced ( 4 of us sharing) and the apartment in my opinion is in a very good location. Lovely to walk both ways along the sea front. Also booked the jeep tour with Miguel, Nyara's husband which was well worth it. Miguel was a very safe driver, very friendly and knew lots about the island. Beautiful views visiting the West side and he also advised us on where to eat in Funchal and what to eat/ drink. Great advise too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the constant sound of the ocean, especially whilst watching the sun setting each evening, added to the beauty of the place.

L'appartement est très bien situé avec une magnifique vue sur l'océan. L'environnement est très calme. Toutefois, l'appartement mériterait un nettoyage en profondeur surtout au niveau des sanitaires. Attention à l'accès piscine, une hôtesse a exigé les cartes d'accès et a même appelé le staff.

Appartement très bien situé on peut se rendre à pied au centre commercial pour faire ses courses .ainsi que dans le centre de funchal en 35 minutes toujours à pieds. Très fonctionnel et l accès direct à la plage est très pratique et la piscine au pied de l immeuble aussi. Parking à disposition Nous y reviendrons si nous pouvons

The apartment is great, exactly as the description and the photos. Clean and proper. The pool was perfect for the kids. And the hotel next to the apartment has lots of kids areas that were accessible to us. A great holiday!

We enjoyed our stay at Atlantic Gardens. It was everything we were hoping it would be. Very comfortable,well equipped and a great location. Will definitely stay here again.

Schlechte Lage zu Funchal, gute Lage zum groben Steinstrand, laut, komischer Geruch, keine Sauna, kein Whirlpool wie in der Beschreibung angekündigt, schlechter Kontakt, Anfragen wurden viel zu spät beantwortet.......

Wir waren eine Woche im Atlantic Garden Appartement und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung hat wirklich alles, was einen Aufenthalt angenehm macht. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und sauber, nachts ist es sehr ruhig. Bei Nachfragen an die Eigentümerin bekamen wir eine rasche Antwort. Am besten gefallen haben uns die abendlichen Sonnenuntergänge die man vom großen Balkon aus bewundern kann. Vermisst haben wir eine Verdunklungsmöglichkeit, bzw. Sichtschutz vor dem Schlafzimmerfenster. Deshalb auch nur 4 Sterne. Insgesamt aber sehr empfehlenswert.

Bruyant , local poubelle à proximité et on entend les cars qui amène les touristes à l hôtel voisin le soir tard ou le matin de bonne heure.
