Louez ce superbe appartement les yeux fermés ! Idéalement situé face au Douro, tout est accessible à pieds. L’appartement est très bien équipé. La déco est top , le salon et la chambre avec la pierre au mur…. Idéal en amoureux…Christina est une hôte d’une gentillesse …. Elle vous donnera les bons plans et repondra á toutes vos demandes. Pour ceux qui aiment le calme, préférez l’autre appartement situé plus haut mais plus excentré de ce fait … on ne peut pas tout avoir :) Encore merci Christina, je relouerai sans hésiter quand je reviendrais )))

Cristina is amazing! Our flight into Porto didn't arrive until after 9 PM and Cristina offered to pick us up at the airport for a very reasonable fee. We arrive at the apartment and just below is a restaurant where she joined us for a Francesinha Sandwich and provided us with a variety of things to do and see. She recommended we try Pastel de Nata which was amazing! She loves sharing her love for Porto with her guests! You can easily walk to everything including the Port Cellars across the river!

The apartment and location is as described and accurately represented in the photographs. Despite the proximity of a busy main road all quiet from early evening. CENTRALLY located for everything - transport,sights,eating and drinking. Christina advice ,help and recommendations were invaluable as we were only there for a week. When we are next in Porto we shall stay at one of Christina’s apartments.

I recently stayed four nights at a Rabelo Douro Riverview Apartment and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a compact but well-designed and well=appointed one bedroom place right on the river oin a trendy area close to the centre of town. I stayed there with a friend who also loved it. Location is perfect, lots of restaurants around, close to transport and several sites, light and airy living area. Perfect for an individual or a couple, and the sofa could work as an extra bed too. The owner Cristina is a gem. There was an initial mix up with my booking - my fault totally - and Cristina did everything possible to help resolve things, which in the end they were. She is also very helpful with advice, information and suggestions. The apartment is excellent value for money and I would strongly recommend it to people looking for this sort and size of accommodation. If I ever need accommodation in Porto, this apartment and Cristina will be top of my list!

The Ribeira district in Porto is a World Heritage Site that has undergone a great deal of refurbishment as a tourist playground in the last 20 years. This apartment is just on the edge of that neighbourhood, however, which tends to make it a little quieter and more integrated with the everyday life of a diverse and fascinating city. The apartment has a great view across the Douro and the 500 bus and No. 1 tram stop pretty much outside the door. Inside, it has a well-equipped galley-style kitchen and a comfortable lounge area, with good wi-fi. There is also a good bathroom. Everything seemed clean and well-maintained. The only limitation really is that the property would not be well-suited to anyone with a degree of impaired mobility. The generous double bed is at a very low level and the apartment is approached by a very steep flight of stairs. Although the Sherriff's Lady and I are both pretty fit and active seniors, we never felt entirely comfortable on this staircase.

Cristina was very helpful and full of ideas for places to go Porto has so much to see plus the river trip which take most of the day

Clean, bright and comfortable one bedroom overlooking river. Easy stroll to restaurants and close to Palacio Bolsa. On the yellow, blue and red tour bus routes. 15 minute walk to centre. Cristina is most welcoming and provided us with many excellent suggestions for restaurants and things to do.

A perfectly located and very clean apartment on the river, Cristina the hostess was extremely helpful at every stage. We will be booking again on our next visit.

The Riverview apartment was, clean, cozy and had everything you needed. Walking distance to most sights, trams and hop on hop off buses, Cristina is wonderful, very knowledgeable about the area, pics you up from the airport and gives you a tour of the local areas, Porto is fabulous and we shall certainly return here one day,. Note: the apartment is up several steep stairs, suitable for active junior seniors and the like, Thank you Cristina it was a pleasure to meet you your welcome Is a lovely memory of our stay in Porto,

We might have only stayed for four nights but because of a fantastic host we were able to take full advantage of the time we had. Cristina picked us up from the airport gave us a brief overview of Porto and then took the time, back at the apartment, to give us great advice on where to go, what to eat and how to get around. The apartment is situated with an excellent view of the river and was in walking distance of many of the sights. (It is very hilly so be prepared with good shoes!!) We tried some typical Portuguese food based on Cristina's recommendation and we also visited places outside Porto which were well worth a visit. The apartment was comfortable and had everything you needed in it. We had a fantastic time. A big thank you to Cristina for being a great host!!
