The 44 sqm apartment, next to the Acropolis Museum, is just a walking distance from the Acropolis and the heart of Athens. The Acropolis Metro Station, only a few meters away, links it directly to both the Athens Airport and the Piraeus harbour and on to the greek islands. Thus there is no need for a car. It is fully furnished and has just been renovated by the architect owner.
The flat, on the elevated ground floor is fully secured and easily accessible. There is a comfortable double bed in the bedroom. The extra folding bed in the living room, available on request, makes it ideal for a couple and a child or a friend. Petit appartement simple et bien situé dans Plaka
Je recommande cet appartement, situé dans le quartier Plaka, à moins de 10 minutes de marche du musée de l'Acropole à Athènes, donc il est bien situé pour une arrivée à Athènes. Toutes mes communications avec Nikos, le propriétaire se sont très bien passées et il parle français.
Je dirais que cet appartement convient mieux pour deux personnes que trois. Si je pouvais faire une suggestion, ce serait de remplacer le sofa se trouvant dans le salon par un sofa-lit, car la 3e personne de notre groupe a dormi sur un petit lit pliable et c'était très inconfortable. S'il y avait un sofa-lit, ce serait beaucoup plus pratique et confortable. Ce serait ma principale critique de l'appartement. Outre ceci, nous avons été très satisfaites de notre séjour.

Great location, big and comfortable
If you are Athens to see the Ancient sites then this place is the one for you.
It is just about on top of them.
A couple of minutes to one of the main eat streets, nearly beside the Acropolis Museum (therefore almost beside the Acropolis itself).
Over the road is a bar or 2 and though they seem noisy on the street it was quiet in the apartment.
The apartment itself is very roomy with everything you could need – fridge, cooker, aircon (2 actually – one in lounge and one in the bedroom). All very modern, clean and tidy.
Great wifi.
Nikos was very helpful – his daughter kindly waited at the apartment for us to arrive after our late ferry.
There is actually a very nice, less touristy and more local café (restaurant) a handful of buildings away. Great food at a good price.
A short distance away around the corner of Misaraliotou and Zitrou is a very good local bakery, a small supermarket and a great coffee shop (which also serves wine and a great cheap (4.90 euro) Aperol Spritz (a fetish of ours after Italy). Sit around and chill – it is about 5-10 minutes walk.
If we come back again I would come back here – great value for a good size, well located apartment.

Awesome
The apartment was perfect!! We couldn't have had a better location for sightseeing and the apartment was very modern and had everything we needed. On our way on the train we had an issue and when we arrived at the apartment, Nikos went above and beyond helping us. Restaurant and sports bar directly across the street and a store just a few blocks away. Plan to come back and stay again in the future. You can't go wrong staying in this apartment. Thanks Nikos!

Great self catering apartment steps away from acropolis
The whole apartment is very charming, perfectly located close to the city attractions. It was easy to step in and step out to grab ice cream or coffee even late at night. Very safe! Nikos is very friendly. He waited for us at the apartment till 3AM for us to arrive to hand over the keys.

Confortable et très bien situé
Bel appartement, confortable, soigné et agréable, avec excellent matelas et sdb neuve. Wifi bonne. Espace bien géré, sauf qu'il n'y a que la table basse du salon pour manger ..
..à savoir qu'il n'y a pas les ingrédients MINIMUM pour cuisiner : huile, vinaigre, sel, poivre et quelques épices + peu de vaisselle à disposition, à revoir !. Par contre, il y a pr le pt déj : sucre, café et thé...
Idéalement localisé, à 3 min. à pied de plaka, du métro tout en étant très calme.
Fille du propriétaire aimable et disponible.

AMAZING! Great location, host and apartment!
Nikos is so helpful and very nice! Gave us great tips and told us where to go for the best food, tours etc. The apartment is cozy, clean, has great air con, wifi and is amazingly positioned in the heart of Athens. Everything is within walking distance and I mean everything! The Acropolis museum is right behind you, with the Acropolis not far from that, then you have the entrance into Plaka and the food strip where it has all the best restaurants, ice cream/gelato, cafes etc. There is so much more to see and do! We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment to any one thinking of coming to Athens. You will not be disappointed!

Spacious, comfy and convenient
We were late for 2 hours due to plane delayed from Heraklion the owner kindly waited for us with a happy face.
Nikos spent a lot of time explain the place to us and explain the neighborhood (ie. bakery, supermarket, things to see) which has made our staying an enjoyable one.
Supermarket is only 2 blocks away and a very nice bakery. Coffee shops and restaurants are only a few mins away on foot. It's a nice and quiet neighborhood just literaly behind Acropolis museum.
The apartment itself is very well decorated with fully functional kitchen and cable TV ( Great for the world cup !)
Overall it is a nice place !! One tip for the ones who want to rent this place regarding directions to the apartment. It is just 5 mins walk from Acropolis metro but the building is not easy to find.
We highly recommend this apartment to anyone who will be staying in Athens.

Great Locations and Apartment!

We enjoyed the apartment very much! The location was great- right in the heart of the city and next to the Acropolis Museum. Nikos was also wonderful. Very hospitable, provided great tips and was responsive.

Great Host - Great Apartment
I stayed in the apartment from 2-8 August 2013. The apartment is very nice and with air conditioning which was a godsend when the weather is really hot. It is ideally located a few minutes from the Acropolise Museum and, of course, the Acropolis itself. It is just a few minutes from the main tourist area, Plaka. Although the apartment is located in the centre there was very little noise at night as it is off the main streets.
Perhaps the best feature of this rental is the owner, Nikos. He is simply a wonderful host and nothing is too much trouble for him. He has an office just around the corner from the apartment and will come around any time to give any help. He took the time when I arrrive to take around and show me all the local shops and, as a native of Athens, he has many excellent recommendations concerning sights and places to visit. In short, nothing is too much trouble for him and he is such a nice man that I intend to keep in touch with him.
I cannot recommend this apartment to potential visitors too highly and you will not find a better apartment on every score, including very reasonabley priced.

Fabulous location, wonderful host and immaculate efficient apartment!
This was the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay in Athens. We only had 2 full days and 3 nights. Quick walks to all the major sights. Steps away from the Acropolis Museum, the Acropolis as well as pedestrian walkways, sidewalk cafes and so much more! Very relaxing to just walk outside and have everything so close. There were a few small local shops close by: produce stand, pharmacy 2 doors down. Wi-fi and nice strong water pressure in the shower made our down time relaxing. First night was a bit hot, so we put on the air conditioning, which worked well. Other nights we just opened the windows for cool night breeze. Very relaxing place for being in the midst of a big city.
