The villa is stunning and you will not be disappointed. It has a wonderful location with glorious views across the bay. The beach and taverna are metres away and the fantastic Marathi beach is a 5 minutes drive. The villa is simply stunning. It is beautifully furnished and well equipped. There is ample space to dine, sunbathe or simply sit and look out over the scenery. George and Alex are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. A special mention to George’s wife’s Cretan pie which was utterly delicious. I cannot recommend the villa highly enough. If you book here you are in for a treat.

We spent two weeks at Olea Villas Glass house - stunning design , modern place and just few minutes from the beach and tavern. This place will definitely satisfy even most picky person. View from the bedroom is just breathtaking, house supplied with AC, TV ( with Netflix, but believe u won’t find time to use it) coffee machine and all necessary amenities , there is an access to the beautiful garden and grill. This will be a definitely go to for a couples who want to enjoy true Cretan atmosphere, quiet but easily accessible location and most beautiful beaches in the area (Loutraki and Marathi). It’s just a shame that time goes so fast when you are in place like this. Owners very helpful and attentive made us feel welcome and taken care of. Definitely will come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing holidays in Greece/Crete, BEST HOLIDAYS EVER ! THANK YOU OLEA VILLAS!

We spent three weeks at Olea Villas and teared up when we had to leave:) George, Alex, and Vicky couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. They helped arrange a boat tour, massages, and dinner reservations. Exceptional hospitality. The villa itself is both stunning and comfortable with perfect sunrise and sea views. The beautiful, small local beach and delicious family taverna, both a very short walk from the villa, were highlights. There is another gorgeous beach with three great restaurants just a ~5 minute drive away (Marathi). It was a dream vacation and we can’t wait to return!

My wife, our son and I just spent a glorious week at Olea Villas. I can only echo previous reviewer comments on the experience--they are 100% accurate. A stunning home in a quiet, peaceful setting in the upscale Loutrakis neigborhood. Once you are warmly welcomed by Yiorgos, you know you're in for a memorable holiday. The pride and care that has gone into the home is evident everywhere. The home is the essence of Greek hospitality and absolutely loved our stay. Walks to the beach, walks to dinner at the local tavernas; breakfast and drinks outside; the pool; the views, convenient drive to Chania and surrounding sights (highly recommend Agia Triada monastery). Not to mention the welcome bottle of wine; watermelon and home made bougatsa. Communication with owners was excellent. Let me add this: our ferry in Heraklion arrived two hours late and then we had to make the two hour drive to the villa at 10:00 p.m. Well, we got lost following the directions and had to call Alex for help. His father Yiorgos and wife came to our location from a wedding no less at past midnight to lead us to the house and welcome us. It turned a very stressful situation into a happy ending and the start of a very special holiday. Would I recommend Olea Villas to my friends and family? Without hesitation. A once in a lifetime experience you won't forget.

Die beiden Villen liegen in Loutraki auf der Halbinsel Akrotiri ca. 20 Minuten von Chania und 2,5h vom Flughafen Heraklion entfernt. Loutraki liegt einsam am Strand in einer kleinen Bucht mit Bar und einer Taverne. Die Villen selbst befinden sich in Hanglage mit tollem Blick auf die Bucht und das glasklare Meer (wenig Wellen, 25 Grad Celsius). Über eine kurze (und sehr steile) Straße gelangt man innerhalb von wenigen Minuten zur Taverne und zum Strand. Das Design der Villen ist wirklich einzigartig und besonders. Groß, hell, geräumig, viele Fenster, überall Meerblick. Es gibt drei Ebenen: Erdgeschoss mit Wohnraum, Küche, Zugang zur Grillterrasse und zur Pool-Area mit Lounge. Das Untergeschoss mit 2 Schlafzimmern mit Doppelbett und je einem en Suite Bad und einem Medienraum. Das Obergeschoss mit einem Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und ebenfalls en Suite Bad. Auf der Terrasse befindet sich ein großer Esstisch und ein hochwertiger Grill. Man hat dort einen wunderschönen Blick auf das anliegende Gebirge. Auf der anderen Seite der Villa ist der große ungeheizte Infinity-Pool mit ca. 25-29 Grad Celsius und der heiße Whirlpool. Was wir fantastisch fanden war das riesige „Fenster“ bei der Lounge, das den Blick aufs azurblaue Meer rahmte. Die Anlage war wirklich top-gepflegt und die tägliche Reinigung des Hauses war hervorragend. Die jederzeit hilfsbereiten Eigentümer wohnen in der Nähe und haben sich um alles gekümmert. Ein kleiner Supermarkt befindet sich 10 Minuten entfernt in einem Ort namens Aronio (auch abends und sonntags geöffnet). Restaurants gibt es neben unserer Taverne im zwei Kilometer entfernten Marati. In der Nähe befindet sich die Namfi (eine NATO Airbase), von der aus ein bis zwei Mal am Tag Kampfflugzeuge Manöver fliegen. Tipps: unbedingt Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer anschauen, Road-trip über die Hochebene machen mit Lunch im botanischen Garten (Gardens of Crete), Chania besuchen. Zusammengefasst fühlten wir uns die ganze Woche pudelwohl und werden auf jeden Fall bald wiederkommen.

We were a family of 6 staying at Olea Villas for 2 weeks and had a fantastic holiday. The villa is outstanding, the design is amazing and all the fixtures and fitting are of a high standard. The villa has an amazing infinity pool with views out to sea and beautiful outside seating areas to really relax and enjoy the view! The villa is very close to Loutraki beach, which takes about 5 minutes to walk to from the villa. The beach is lovely and has a cafe and a beach club , both of which are excellent. There is a local taverna , on the way to the beach, which is lovely and excellent value for money. About 15 minutes walk away to Marathi Beach, there are 3 more restaurants, we ate at two and the food was very good.Paddle boarding at Marathi, was arranged by Alex for 2 of our son's and they really enjoyed it! George, the owner and his son Alex are the perfect hosts , nothing is too much trouble and they are always on hand to give tips and advice on places to visit. The fresh bread delivered every morning by George was a real treat and his wife made some beautiful pies, that were much appreciated. We would thoroughly recommend staying in Olea and hope we can visit again one day!!

Superbe villa aussi belle à l'intérieure qu'à l'extérieure. Vue magnifique sur la plage. Piscine et jacuzzi ont fait le bonheur des enfants. 2 Terrasses: une pour l'apero et le farniente, la seconde pour prendre les repas. Les propriétaires sont excessivement accueillants et prévenants, nous offrant des plats typiques crétois à notre arrivée mais également pendant le séjour. La maison est nettoyee tous les jours mais la femme de ménage est très discrète et nous a meme orienté sur des petits restaurants moins touristiques et plus fréquentés par les locaux. Nous avons passé un superbe moment qui nous a donné envie de revenir!!!

We visited Crete this year with the larger family, Grandmother, Aunt, Kids, Grandsons. We were 12 adults and a baby. These 2 Villas are located 200 meters from Loutraki beach, which at this time of year is almost empty. The water was amazing, clear, silent like a huge pool. We took daily walks in the area. Went back for an independent breakfast, used our private pool and Jacuzzi and had quality time with the family. There are 3 rooms in each Villas, taking 6 people. The Villas' kitchens are equipped with every required tool, including an oven, dish washer etc. On 2 of the nights we asked for a Chef to cook for us which again was A M A Z I N G. We have vegans and vegetarians that got special treatment. George the manager and Alex his son were available for every request. We got a fresh warm bread loaf every morning. The Villas were clean with a beautiful view from every window. Only thing is you can hear each steps as the space is no that isolated and its all wooden - but that wasn't a big deal. There are good restaurants within a short drive also. Bottom line: Highly recommended !

20 minute easy drive from the busy touristy town of Chania - a welcome retreat of calm and quiet! The modern villa has all the amenities you need - wasther/dryer, daily delivery of warm fresh bread, large in and out earring areas, pool, outside loungers, bathroom soaps etc. We spent the week here and could have stayed much longer - that's how much we enjoyed it! The host was super helpful as was the housekeeper! Their service was impeccable! No hesitation recommending this to families, couples etc. We didn't have kids but I didn't notice quite a bit of children's play stuff available in the yard! Clean and comfortable - enjoy!!

It’s our last day in this stunning villa, and we have enjoyed every moment. I would never tire of this view of the sea. Two of the reasons why our stay was so special are George and Stav who were both so attentive. And fresh warm bread every morning! Delicious 🥖
