We got a double room, where everything was nice and clean. Nice garden with small pool. Good continental breakfast. Very friendly host.

What an amazing place this is! A perfect combination of luxury and homely living. Attention to detail at every corner from comfy beds, beautiful views, great personal toiletries, well equipped kitchen, relaxing gardens and pool area and even a Nespresso coffee machine! Tegan was so helpful, she couldn’t do enough to help and support us during our stay. Tegan is english but speaks fluent french too which was really helpful. The property was very secure with a coded entrance and private parking. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to stay and will definitely be returning again.

We highly recommend Maison M - newly converted beautiful rooms and bathrooms, tastefully furnished, in a stunning house in the centre of this interesting market town close to many vineyards, and overlooking the Dordoyne River. The hosts were very hospitable and everything was provided that we needed. A very refreshing change from other places we had stayed recently.

From the moment i arrived, i was taken back the charismatic charm of this lovely place. Set in the quiet end of a beautiful medieval town, this impressive ex-mayaoral residence lends itself to quality and luxury beyond expectations. On arrival, i was greeted by the friendly owner, Tegan, with a glass of the region's fantastic red whilst we ran through her extensive knowledge of the local amenities and the plethora of activities - if only i had more time to enjoy them all! The room itself, was newly decorated, clean and extremely comortable. A delicious breakfast was provided daily as was a waist busting dinner made from fresh local produce enjoyed with other guests staying at the time - The local farmers market is a must visit when staying! Unfortunately my stay was over far too quickly but left feeling relaxed and happy in the knowledge i will be returning as soon as possible. I wanted to say a huge thank you to Tegan for her incredible hospitality and the new friends i made during my stay.

Stayed in a beautifully restored gîte in the grounds of a town house. The decoration is tastefully and stylishly done with high quality furnishings and fittings throughout. The terrace and garden is a haven of calm right in the centre of a town with all amenities. The hosts could not have been more helpful. Welcome gifts and thoughtful touches were much appreciated and the breakfasts were amazing. Highly recommended!

I stayed at Maison M for two weeks - what an absolutely stunning place!! Tegan, the owner of Maison M, hosted us so well and could not do enough to make our stay very special. The apartment was wonderful and clean, and beautifully decorated throughout. Tegan delivered us an incredible breakfast every morning - included in the price. Our favourite thing to do was to have a nice refreshing drink on our private terrace or in the courtyard in the evening sun. Maison M is beautifully located and close to all the shops and restaurants. Lovely market on Saturday - a must see! Also very close to Bergerac and st emilion for day trips. They are about to finish installing a pool and a fire pit - the garden is going to be absolutely stunning, especially since it overlooks the dordogne! A fantastic holiday - we will be back very soon!

We stayed in one of the newly renovated apartments . It was beautifully decorated and the owner Tegan had thought of everything when furnishing the apartment and it was beautifully decorated in a rustic style . We chose to eat out in the evening at one the many recommended restaurants within walking distance however the small kitchen was very well equipped and had everything one needed to cook dinner and a charming patio, well furnished with added small touches eg candles to create a lovely evening if you did not want to dine out . The proprietor Tegan was very welcoming and went out of her way to make us feel at home and ensured we had everything we needed . The house has lots of character and history attached to it . Although not finished yet ( the pool was being finished in the next two weeks ) , this did not spoil our stay as there is so much to see and do in the region . The owner Tegan was very informative and recommended wine tours , markets in nearby towns and canoeing along the Dordogne! Fabulous little gem of a place . We will be back !

We stayed for 3 nights in a tastefully furnished and well appointed apartment consisting of one bedroom, spacious shower room, cosy living area and large balcony. In room tea/coffee making facilities and a small but well equipped kitchenette. Convenient parking. Beautiful mature garden on the banks of the Dordogne is work in progress with a swimming pool under construction but opening soon with further landscaping to come. Maison M is a beautiful old building with loads of character and perfectly situated close to the town centre. The owner, Tegan couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect.

Résident pas très loin, de Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, ma famille étant de passage j’ai réservé une chambre chez Maison M, pour mes parents. Ils ont été ravis de l’accueil, beaucoup de goût au niveau de la décoration, la chambre est très agréable, beaucoup de luminosité. Un jardin entretenu avec soin, Qui permet de profiter d un moment agréable sur la terrasse . Encore merci. Je recommande vivement de faire un petit tour à ce gîte.
