Fantastic house, fantastic location
We stayed here for a wonderful week and had a great time. The house is lovely - really spacious and Hilary has made sure that everything you could need is there. We would most definitely stay here again!

Staycation
This is a fab property, spacious and homely and within 15mins walk of two beaches. Beds are very comfortable, amazing views from the front of the property and a quiet location. Hilary was great and quick to get back to you with any queries. Great garden a real sun spot esp in the afternoon. We will be booking again x

Fantastic spacious house in Paignton
Lovely spacious house within walking distance of Paignton. Comfy beds and plenty of storage in the three bedrooms with a great view of Paignton from the balcony in the front bedroom. Kitchen has everything that you need and plenty of crockery. Lounge is light and bright but stays lovely and cool even when it is really hot outside. 10 minutes walk into Paignton to the steam train station and bus station and a further 5 minutes to the beach. Plenty of places to visit within a short drive including Greenway, Cockington village and Babbacombe model village.

Excellent all round holiday cottage
The house was spotless and spacious with lots of essentials also provided (washing up liquid / kitchen foil etc) and a well stocked kitchen. Bedrooms were big with good views. The garden was also large with a great grassed area for children. There’s easy access to the beach so no need to worry about parking as we left the car on the drive and walked. This is also an ideal location to visit other local areas of interest with many within a 30 minute drive. Plenty of choice on the television too which was available in both living rooms (great if you don’t want to watch kids programmes!) and WiFi. The host was lovely and helpful with any questions we had. Thank you!

spacious 3 bed home with a lovely ambience
we had a lovely time at Danefield. Close to the town and beaches and local attractions. Plenty to do in the area and if you would like to travel further affield the Eden project is about an hour and a half away

Danefield
We stayed as a family of 6, the house was very welcoming, clean and spacious. A home from home. Within walking distance to all local amenities, a really nice town and beach area. Thank you so much.

Home from home
Thankyou for an amazing stay, the house and garden was beautiful and had everything that was required for a large family. Thankyou Hilary! Paignton is the perfect place to spend time with your family, there are days out for everyone. Highly recommend.

Seaview from the balcony
Would recommend staying at Danefield , all the comforts of your own home , only a few minutes away from the beach shops and paignton station . Lovely coastal walks too . Thank you Hilary for the wine , we will definitely be staying again should we return to Paignton ., the beds where comfy too which is nice when you've been busy through the day !! Kind regards Wendy

A GREAT PLACE FOR A FAMILY HOLIDAY
The location of Danefield is ideal. Both Paignton main beach and Goodrington Sands are an easy 20 minute walk away. The property is very large and 6 people don't get on top of one another. The patio is a great sun trap from morning to late afternoon. With an older property like this, there are always going to be small niggles, like a separate toilet and bathroom upstairs, but overall it is perfect. You can even see the smoke from the steam train as it passes under a nearby bridge. As mentioned above, most attractions are walkable but I would mention that the property is up a very steep hill and some people will have trouble with this.

Fantastic house and holiday
Fantastic house with everything you need for a perfect holiday. The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Everything you could possibly need for a great holiday was close by and the property itself immaculate. Will certainly visit again. Thanks for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home. So refreshing to find a property even better than it is actually described. Fab!
