Really nice Apartment with everything you need for your stay

Great apartment, good location and fantastic views
Excellently fitted-out apartment, very clean and comfortable, in an ideal location for access to Ventnor front and town. Apartment has everything required to make it a real home-from-home, plus a balcony offering far-reaching views.

Dream short break from the moment you step through the door
Spent the weekend at the flat with my girlfriend and it was perfect. Flat was amazing, very tidy and clean with up to date and modern decor with good facilities. The view from the balcony was lovely, coupled with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, with a glass of wine why would you want to be anywhere else. The location was great too, with only a short walk into Ventnor to the variety of shops, bars or beach. The flat also came with the added bonus of parking. Would definitely go again.

Not sure the balcony view is worth it - not value for money
We stayed a week here. Overall, I was disappointed with the flat and consider that it's misrepresented: there were two of us, so we had room, but for four it will be a real squeeze as the living room is really small. It claims to have two bathrooms, but only has one, the second is just a WC with a small sink (and only for short people because of the sloping ceiling!). The shower in the bathroom was dreadful, it was hard to keep the hot water flowing.
The kitchen is strangely equipped, with all sorts of low quality saucepans and other things (and way too many plates and glasses), but I really didn't want to look too much, as it was all quite grubby, and very dusty. There is only a small dishwasher, so for two people it was just about ok, for four, you'd be putting it on all the time, and washing a lot by hand.
The rest of the flat was not that clean - especially the grubby carpet in one bedroom. You enter and leave the flat through REALLY run down stairs, with cracked, dirty walls and flat roof - very depressing, and cannot be avoided. This was also the view from the living room and the kitchen, so this is what I saw when standing at the sink. We had to call the owner as the instructions he gave to locate the place assumed wrongly we'd come from one direction only, and he only told me he was in Rio after a long conversation (so this will cost a lot for a mobile call!). My sat nav correctly located the place, but it was on a single lane, 25% hairpin bend slope, so I could not stop the car to investigate. The keys were left in a "key safe" by the door, which was almost impossible to access - I had to call and the contact (the cleaning lady) admitted the safe key was tricky and temperamental. Eventually I managed to open it, but for a while I really thought we wouldn't be able to gain access (this was a worry during the week as we also had to leave the keys there after our stay - and it was quite a struggle to open it again at the end of the holiday) - all in all an awful arrival.
You are basically paying for the view from the small balcony (which could do with painting), and even there, the photos do not show the lower levels with their fairly ugly outdoor furniture and garden equipment not to mention the strange tree with lights, doll's head and owl figures and many bird feeders (which just attracted noisy big crows). There is also some interesting furniture, but for me this did not make up for the deficiencies. The flat is within walking distance to the Ventnor shopping facilities and also you can walk down to the beach - but it's very steep (which we didn't mind). I expected more from this expensive rental.

Beach Home Ventnor is one of the best apartments in Ventnor. It is well furnished and equipped and its spectacular views, peaceful atmosphere and location are unmatched other properties in Ventnor. 49 out of 50 people staying in this apartment love it and several make return visits. We always value useful feedback, take on board valid complaints and take action to rectify them promptly.
Sadly, we have the occasional serial complainer who is impossible to satisfy. This lady started complaining about the road layout in Ventnor even before she arrived and within a few hours of arrival wrote threatening to leave a nasty review, I expect as an attempt to be offered compensation. She appears to be more concerned with the view from the kitchen sink (where there are blinds if you don’t wish to look outside) and other people’s gardens than the spectacular sea view and panorama in front of the apartment. She has found difficulties not encountered by other guests and many of the statements made are simply not true. Any substantive problems are however always dealt with as a matter of priority. We are introducing new housekeeping arrangements and planning additional upgrades to the apartment for the coming season to improve the experience of guests.
We suggest taking on board the Trip Advisor reviews of other guests if you want to get a more accurate assessment of the exceptional qualities of this apartment.

Excellent location with great view, quiet yet near to beach and restaurants.
Everything we needed was in the flat. The Balcony was a bonus to sit on and enjoy the view.
The beds were really comfy and linen nice and crisp.

Beach Home Ventnor
Perfectly located, well equipped apartment with a spectacular outlook.
A few minutes to the beach and some excellent pubs and restaurants.
The apartment is located in a quiet area to the west of Ventnor beach.
Best nights sleep away from home on the very comfy king sized bed and teenage sons happy with the large bunk beds in their room.
Plenty of storage in all the bedrooms.
Would have given 5 stars but for a couple of issues: 1. We had to do a little cleaning on arrival of the toilet rim & kitchen sink area to meet our expectations. 2. There is a lot of storage in the kitchen but it is filled with lots of extra crockery and small appliances that are far in excess of the requirements for a small family vacation (ie there are about 20 large plates in 2 separate cupboards, 2 kettles, etc). There is little room for food.
We must stress these are minor details but would have made the stay absolutely perfect if put right.
Would have no hesitation in booking again or recommending this apartment.

Ventnor Isle of White
A lovely place to stay. Beautifull beaches. Very nice restaurants. The area is hilly. Lots of lovely villages to travel through by car, the largest town on the island is Newport, lots of shopping for all ages.

holiday in ventnor
excellent holiday flat in probably best position . lovely town and beautiful coastline . well stocked flat and great comfortable bed. I would highly recommend for up to four people.
