We stayed as an extended family - 5 couples and 2 children. The owner is very helpful, the staff are friendly. Lots of things to do nearby, but you could easily just spend a week enjoying the chateau, the pool, the courtyard, the games room, the village, the wineries... everything you need is there. I wish we could have spent a month but we only had a week.

we where here with our family for the 60th wedding of my parents. It is a great place to stay for everybody. Most beautiful place I ever staid. For parents and children there is a lot to do. The swimming pool is super! The surroundings are beautiful.

Nous avons séjourné en famille au château de Puilacher pendant le long weekend de Pentecôte. Nous avons occupé tout le château dont les prestations, la décoration, le confort, la dotation nous ont enchanté. Je vous recommande vivement de tenter l'expérience de châtelains. Elle est merveilleuse. La piscine chauffée, la salle de jeu, la cour intérieure enchanteront grands et petits. L’accueil est chaleureux et très agréable. Le confort parfait. Devenez châtelains! je vous le recommande!!!!

The magnificent Chateau (which as you can see from the photos) is so impressive from the outside certainly doesn't let you down in terms of "wow factor" inside too! Located in a pretty little village but tucked away in a private corner, Puilacher may not have many amenities itself but is within easy reach of lots of fun things to do - we were lucky enough to arrive on the night of the village fete and were welcomed warmly at it. During our time there we spent a day on the coast, one in Montpellier and a couple exploring local vineyards and other parts of this unspoilt corner of rural France as well as time relaxing by the pool. The Chateau itself is a quite incredible building. The living areas (4 huge rooms) are extremely spacious allowing anyone who wants to to find a quiet corner to read or do their own thing. It was spot-on for our group of friends who enjoyed getting together in the evenings to eat but also enjoyed some independence during the day. The multiple bathrooms also meant that everyone had privacy and the ability to keep their own hours. For eating the kitchen is we equipped and there is a lovely terrace outside the kitchen where we ate most nights. (Although plenty of space inside too). It had every facility we could think of , the pool is a good size and there is decent pool furniture, there was wifi in the main room and plenty of places to get supplies a short (easy) drive away. A hire car is a must. We aim to go back one day!
