Chalet
Chalet de la Vanoise is a gorgeous family-run, catered chalet in the winter and is open all year round. It has an outdoor Hot Tub with stunning views of Mont Blanc, a Sauna with hammam option and lots of personal touches including ski boot drier/warmers and a large private car park. It is a wonderfully equipped chalet. There are 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms over 5 family Suites. Each suite is en-suite. Every bathroom has bathrobes, fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. Every Suite has good WIFI access, UK Sockets and Stereo/IPOD docking stations as well as lovely linen and furnishings. There is a well-stocked bilingual library. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.
We had the most amazing week staying in Chalet de La Vanoise. The chalet itself was gorgeous -an authentic Alpine chalet in a beautiful village perfectly positioned with easy access to the extensive Paradiski area. The hot tub and games room were particularly popular with the kids and the rooms were well laid out with a good amount of space. The food was delicious and the chalet hosts were great. However, our week was made by the unbelievably kind and helpful chalet owners for whom nothing appeared to be too much problem. They were able to recommend and book restaurants, help with ski school, provide lifts, fix car tyres .. the list goes on and on. We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the chalet.

Fantastic Chalet! Ideal for large groups of all ages. Great hosts living on site really helpful. Delicious food!
Absolutely brilliant week staying at the Chalet Vanoise! Kevin and Lee, who own the chalet, couldn't have been more accommodating. Having them on site was really useful and they helped out every morning to make sure we got to ski school and to the slopes with ease. Late in the season we couldn't ski in ski out but a very quick transfer in Kevin's van took us to the bubble up to ski school.
We were there as three families and the chalet was perfect to fit us all. The food was absolutely delicious and Fabio and his wife were very nice to accommodate the needs of the children too.
The location is great with easy access to both Les Arcs and La Plagne - endless opportunities to ski. Kevin is really helpful to advise on where best to ski too with the conditions.
We really did have the most wonderful week. Such fun on the slopes but also time spent in the chalet. The hot tub and Games room a particular hit with the children.

There really is snow place like home
My husband and two children 6 and 8 had the best week at chalet la vanoise. We enjoyed the hot tub, food and relaxed atmosphere at chalet la vanoise. Nothing was too much trouble and Lee and Kevin were happy to help get our Brood to the slopes and their lessons each day. Which was a real support for our first family ski trip. We will be back.

Great location in middle of Paradiski, great catering, great price!
I organise a ski trip for a group of friends each year in January. We thought we'd try out a catered chalet for the first time and found Chalet Vanoise (Snow Place Like Home).
The Chalet is owned by British husband and wife team Kevin & Lee who live permanently in the attached property. Both are extremely keen skiers. The catering includes breakfast, afternoon tea (+cake) and 6 dinners. The chalet catering staff are Fabio and his wife. Fabio speaks fluent English, Portuguese and Italian.
The price was very competitive for catered, and the location is slap bang in the middle of Paradiski so very easy access to the Les Arcs and La Plagne sides. It takes you 5 minutes to walk to the Montchavin slopes from the chalet, so is practically ski-in ski-out.
I placed my booking directly through their website and found Lee to be very accommodating and communicative. Kevin organised Paradiski area passes for us which included a free half-day, meaning that when we arrived at Sunday lunchtime we were able to get on the slopes immediately. For ski hire, you can either use a company who deliver to the chalet, or walk 5 minutes to the nearest ski hire place (Ski Republic).
Facilities-wise, there is a sauna and 4-person hot tub. The rooms are ensuite and comfortable with plenty of space. The catering was superb and Fabio is just super attentive and delightful. Wine is included with the evening meal and they provide beer at an at-cost price (about 1 euro a bottle) which they keep well stocked.
The rooms are available to rent individually, or if your group is big enough you can take the whole chalet.
A superb, thoroughly enjoyable week in a great ski area, with outstanding chalet and service. I'll definitely bring the group back!

Fabulous and great value
Such a great stay! The chalet was just lovely- spacious rooms and great facilities with sauna and hot tub overlooking the Alps.
The whole team went out of their way +++ make everything very easy.
The in chalet ski fitting and the pre-aranged ski passes were a huge bonus and Lee helped arrange easy transfer via local taxi at a great price. It was seamless and saved so much time.
The food was just fabulous.
Above all such a lovely warm welcome from very special hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay special.

Amazing chalet, superb hosts, delicious food
A perfect week at Chalet de la Vanoise. Kevin, Lee, Jonah and Jack are the perfect hosts. From the minute we arrived our every need was met. Warm cosy rooms, extensive dietary requirements taken into consideration, boot hire, ski lift passes, medical advice...you name it, these wonderful hosts had it covered. In the mornings we were greeted with cheery smiles, any worries or woes were eased by K, L, J&J. Every afternoon, delicious baked goods awaited our arrival home, even on J&J's day off. Onsite hot tub and sauna was a real treat at the end of each day, to soothe our tired and aching muscles. Delicious evening meals prepared with love and dedication. Chalet de la Vanoise, exceeded my expectations every step of the way and I cannot wait to return. Thank you Kevin, Lee, Jonah and Jack for making our stay so wonderful.

Fabulous chalet with amazing hosts!
Just back from a wonderful week staying at Chalet de la Vanoise. The actual chalet was excellent. Amazing mountain views and great facilities - the sauna and hot tub were just perfect for the end of a long day skiing. Lee and Kevin were the BEST hosts, always on hand to help with everything and anything we needed. They did a great job of making sure we all got to our lessons on time every morning. This completely took the stress out of getting our large group of children and adult beginners organised each day. My husband broke his wrist snowboarding during our stay and Lee and Kevin couldn’t have been more caring and helpful. They went the extra mile to make sure he was okay and got him to a doctor straight away. We really appreciated their care. The catering team, Jonah and Jack were AMAZING! The meals were delicious and like eating at a 5 star restaurant every day. A proper treat. They went above and beyond to make sure all of our dietary requirements were covered and everyone was happy. Something we were really grateful for being quite a fussy bunch. They were also the loveliest of guys, very friendly and helpful at all times. We all had the most amazing relaxing week - take us back immediately please!

Everything you hope for, and more
Right from the start, even before we got there, Kevin and Lee helped us organise ourselves with lessons, ski hire and ski passes and nobly navigated our long list of dietary requirements, making it all so easy for us. Once we arrived, everything lived up to expectation, the rooms were all lovely, super cosy and clean. And we had our first of many delicious meals. The food alone deserves a separate review, it was so good, and as a coeliac, I have genuinely never been catered for so well. We were all blown away and they cater for fussier children (and adults!) with ease. Thank you J&J! The hot tub and sauna are amazing for soothing weary muscles after a day's skiing is plenty to keep kids happy too. Recommend the skidoo night for a fun way to eat on the chalet night off ... although the chalet food is better :) I could say so much more but suffice to say, the hosts and their staff went the extra mile to make our stay so memorable and we hope they will have us back as soon as possible!
