Beautiful villa within walking distance of the village of Calenzana, the location is ideal, very close to everything, the garden is lush and the pool was heated and perfect. i was part of a party of 6 that had a truly memorable holiday in Corsica. This amazing property contributed a great deal to that fabulous holiday. We were greeted on arrival by Elisabeth, who also provided immaculate service during our stay. The property is big, very comfortable, well decorated with everything we needed. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms made for enough privacy in our group, our rooms were large and comfortable with air conditioning and their own bathrooms which were very clean. A top quality kitchen to prepare local food and the views from the terrace are to die for. To say we enjoyed our time at this property would be an under statement and we would highly recommend it to others, this villa is perfect for a family holiday or a group of friends

This property is a stunner, with all of the comforts of a well appointed home and then some. The top level is extremely spacious. It is clean, beautifully decorated and very well stocked, both in the kitchen as well as the bed- and bathrooms.The location near the small village of Calenzana with a wonderful bakery and restaurants within walking distance is excellent as it is near the mountains but so close to the sea. The house is sited on the lot to maximize the views which are breathtaking. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the villa because we enjoyed being there so much. It is a good base of operations to see many things in the area and Elisabeth, the owner, is very helpful with providing information and any assistance you may need. The kitchen is very well appointed and in addition to enjoying the excellent nearby restaurants we were able to cook and to use the grill on the terrace. As we were travelling with children, we noticed that the house was well appointed for families, the owner provided a child bed and a high chair for our one year old.We absolutely loved this villa and are already hoping to return for a longer stay next year. It's immaculately fitted out and brilliantly equipped for a self-catering stay, with a lovely (and well childproofed) heated pool which we had a great time playing in with the kids. I can't say enough about this villa, our experience, and the vacation.

As others have written, the photos don't (and realistically really can't) do justice to this truly amazing property which has been designed with great skill and love and on an epic scale. My husband and I go on a lot of group holidays with a few close friends and something particularly wonderful about this property is that all three double rooms were as beautiful as one another so no one had to be noble and take a 'lesser option'. The main cooking and living space is HUGE, airy and beautifully equipped, the bedrooms are downstairs and cool even during a June heatwave and every attention has been given to make it a perfect holiday home. I could not rate this place more highly - a huge thank you to Elisabeth and Mathias! Also, the recommendations in the detailed book they have kindly put together are stellar. Don't miss swimming in the Fango stream and Restonica gorge is incredible - if a challenging drive and hike. Do also check out the wonderful restaurant at the other end of Zilia village La Funtanella run by Corsican locals Angelique and Henri, they do great pizzas to take away as well as running a gorgeous sit down restaurant set in a cool, shady, beautifully lit dell with a little waterfall running through it.

An absolutely gorgeous house near a very lovely village, elegant, amply dimensioned with lovely pool, well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The view is simply amazing, the rooms are spacious and well furnished, a special mention is the master bedroom with bathtub and Italian shower. The villa is perfectly placed for visiting all the local attractions, a few miles from the beach or the mountains, this was one of my all time favourite rentals, with really all amenities for a fantastic stay. The house and location are stunning, there's plenty of space and it was so easy to visit the many attractions nearby. Great attention to detail in a superb environment. Highly recommend!

This was a great villa. We loved staying there. The property itself is beautiful and very well-designed. As others have said, the pictures do not do it justice. It was spacious, immaculate and in tune with its surroundings. We especially loved the pool. It was consistently heated to an inviting 29. The views are also spectacular - we loved floating around, surrounded my trees dripping with citrus and seeing snow-capped mountains in the back ground. The hosts were also lovely. Emails with Elisabeth were responsive and friendly. Mathias was warm and happy to answer questions, etc. They also provided a helpful book with lots of destinations/directions/insider information. Having done a lot of vacation rentals, I would say this was one of my best experiences in terms of customer service. The only negative for us was the floorboards. It was really loud in the bedrooms if people were walking around upstairs in the living area. We got around this as there is ample outdoor space and the bedrooms are plenty comfortable for lounging in, but it might be an issue if there are early risers/night owls in your group. Highly recommended and hope to return in a few years.

We have just returned from a week at this wonderful villa. It totally exceeded our expectations and there was not a single thing we could fault. The house is stunning, full of character, in tune with its surroundings, a perfect fusion of traditional and contemporary. The pool, garden and terrace were perfect places to relax. The owner, Elisabeth was charming, helpful and welcoming, and gave us many suggestions for things to do in the area. The village of Calenzana and other nearby villages are beautiful and there is much to see and do in the area.

This is a wonderful house in a great location! The house itself is top quality, clean and is well-equipped with all the modern accessories we could want. The heated pool was kept warm for us, even in the cool days of late March when we were there. The view from the home really is amazing especially while sitting at the table on the terrace having dinner and enjoying the local wine. Location and surroundings were ideal. On the one hand we had tall mountains close by and on the other there were nice beaches a short drive away. Then there are all of the small villages nearby to visit and admire the architecture. Calvi is only a 15 minute drive away for larger grocery stores and tourist activities. We travelled with a young child (1 yr) and found the property suitable for our needs. The owners were very helpful, friendly and provided loads of useful information about the area! We also can't say enough about the friendliness of the local Corsicans in the area - from the waiter & Chef at a local restaurant to the nearby village doctor who attended to our young child. The locals made every effort to help us and make us feel welcome, even though our French was not the best!

Espace, confort, deco soignee, equipements de qualite, piscine a 28°, soleil. La situation est ideale. Tout est réuni pour des vacances réussies à Calenzana. La situation de la villa est parfaite pour accéder rapidement aux plages toutes différentes les unes des autres. L'espace de la maison nous a permis de vivre avec nos amis sans aucun souci d'intimité. La propriétaire charmante et à l'écoute nous donnant de bons conseils pour les coins à visiter et les restaurants. Belle piscine chauffée entourée d'orangers et de citronniers, grande terrasse avec une vue époustouflante, jardin au top. Les photos sont vraiment représentatives. Aménagement intérieur parfait et tout est très propre. Tout est fait pour la détente et bien pensé pour que l'on ne manque de rien. Une location qui tient ses promesses.

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par la beauté des lieux et de son environnement. Séjour très agréable avec nos amis, magnifique maison ancienne, très beau jardin, très grand séjour, chambres et sales de bains luxueuses décorées avec goût. Propriétaire sympathique. Très beau temps, Calenzana est un très jolie village. Maison à découvrir.
