Nous avons été enchantés par notre location le Renard et Raisins. L'accueil de Valérie, la décoration, les petites attentions, le côté pratique et fonctionnel, la literie moelleuse, la vue sur les vignes, le wifi, la télé et tout cela à 1 minute du centre de cette superbe ville médiévale qu'est Riquewihr. Un bien-être absolu. A recommander vivement.

Charming Property in Charming Medieval Village
This property even outdoes the impressive presentation on their website. I stayed for one week during a 10 week self-drive tour of France and it ranks at the top of the list of my stays.
All the facilities required for self catering are provided and the decor is very much in keeping with the atmosphere of beautiful Riquewihr. Great views of the Grand Cru Schoenenbourg vineyard from the living room and bedroom.Valerie mans an office on site and was of great assistance. If travelling by car recommend you take up the option of reserved parking as parking around Riquewihr is scarce when the day crowds arrive.

Appartement de rêve
Magnifique appartement très confortable situé dans les remparts de Riquewhir. L'endroit était tranquille et nous avions une vue imprenable sur les vignobles. Situation idéale pour vivre dans Riquewhir et découvrir cette charmante région qu'est l'Alsace. Nous avions apporté nos capsules Nespresso, car il y avait une machine Nespresso dans la cuisine, ce qui a ajouté au plaisir d'être là. C'est vraiment l'endroit idéal où rester si vous désirez visiter l'Alsace et profiter de Riquewhir tôt la matin et le soir lorsque les hordes de touristes ont quitté les lieux.

Wonderful stay in Alsace!
We loved our stay in this beautiful little "gite"! But most of all, we loved the manager there, Valerie. During our stay in Riquewihr, we were involved in an auto accident. Fortunately, not our fault, but without Valerie guiding us through all the red tape, speaking to the car rental people, advising us as to proper procedure, it would have been a nightmare, because English is rarely spoken in this area. Valerie went far and above her job description in helping us. We couldn't thank her enough! So, if you decide to stay in this area, we cannot recommend Les Ramparts of Riquewihr highly enough. It's always good to have someone like Valerie in your corner when you are in a foreign country and don't speak the language.

nice stay in riquiwiehr
The little apartment in Requiwiiehr is imacculate and well suited for a stay in the quaint medieval village. We enjoyed the living space and the kitchen. Valerie was wonderful and a big help to us when we asked any questions. Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful apartment!

Thank you for staying with us! The Fox and Grapes apartment is facing the most famous vineyard of the village. An interesting observation point when the harvest time is coming. Welcome back anytime!

Fairy tale place to stay
We found these apartments by chance whilst looking for holiday ideas in Eastern France. We decided to book as we had been recommended a visit to the alsace. We were not disappointed from the initial booking process which was easy and the website very informative to our arrival. Valerie was very helpful and informative. The apartment was ' Perfect' extremely clean and very well equipped. The view was lovely for our window we had views of the vineyards. We did not have air-conditioning and benefitted from a cooling breeze however a fan would have been useful at night. The location was very central although was surprisingly quiet. We loved Riquewihr and all it has to offer but also liked venturing out to some of the surrounding villages which seemed a little less touristy! We would not hesitate to recommend this place to stay and would love to return. I suppose the only thing with an apartment is no outside space but if you know when you book it's your choice and these apartments more than make up for that also some do have a balcony.

We felt that we were at home in the village.
The personal welcome made us immediately feel at home. Our apartment was superbly renovated and bridged the medieval and the modern.
The location allowed us to walk and explore the village and its beautiful environs, without recourse to a car. We enjoyed all that our apartment and the village offered, and allowed us the choice of dining in or out. We would have stayed longer if our itinerary had allowed, and dream of returning one day.

If you enjoy Four Seasons or Fairmont hotels you are going to love the Fox and the Grapes.
Impeccable accommodation. Quiet, luminous, serene view. Attention to details, perfect location.
Yes perfection does exist, we lived it in a picture perfect alsatian village.
Valérie, who must have been a Gold Keys Concierge at the Ritz in a previous life will take care and anticipate all your needs.
Can't wait to go back.

great place to stay in Riquewihr
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this Gite and the hospitality from the Krebs and our on-site greeter, Valerie. The little suite was really lovely and elegantly decked out. It was very convenient- right within the old walls of the city, and the view over the vineyards was delightful to gaze out over.
The rooms have been developed in a very high-quality way, with modern appliances and fixtures throughout that are perfectly integrated into the restored structure. The room stayed toasty at night, even though it was freezing while we were there.
This is a tremendous value. You can use it as a luxury suite and dine out, or take advantage of the fully-appointed kitchen and washer-dryer to cocoon in your private space.
(And make sure you dine at au Trotthus!)

Fox in The Grapes
My husband and I spent a week in the village of Riquewihr at the beautiful apartment Fox in The Grapes. Valerie met us, got us settled in and showed us to a fantastic restaurant just down the road as we were starving. The apartment had a full kitchen so we were able to cook our meals and prepare lunches to take on our excursions. We had a view of the grapevines from our apartment and watched the workers as they prepared for harvest. The apartment was perfect. We were able to do laundry, cook, relax and use Riquewhir as base to visit many other locations in the beautiful alsace region of France. We were within walking distance of hiking in the hills and right on the edge of the village. Valerie was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. We had a wonderful time here and would come back again.
