Dominique, the owner has been putting in a lot of work to his property . First things first, the parking is excellent for a city where parking is at a premium, secure and private. The garden is well maintained and pleasant. There are 4 units. We were in the one beside the main house. It has a lovely outdoor patio for relaxing and the planting makes it very private. Downstairs there is a well equipped kitchen, fridge freezer, oven, hob, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker etc. the sitting/dining area is fine, we didn’t use it much as we had wonderful weather and used the balcony. Also very good tv and wi fi. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms which could do with a bit of refreshing and a bathroom likewise. But Dominique is working on that and am sure will do a great job. Dominique is an excellent host. Helpful without being intrusive in any way. It is an easy walk to the old town and to the supermarket. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful, peaceful, green part of France. Thank you Dominique.

Appartement spacieux dans une maisonnette independante. Le jardin est tres agreable, la terrasse tres pratiqué pour déjeuner ou diner en plein air. Emplacement ideal 6 minutes a pied du centre ville.

Recognising that Sarlat is a medieval town and as such parking was always going to be a problem, we looked for a place that two couples could spread out in, be assured of parking right next to our apartment and still be close to the centre of town. Amazingly we found exactly that with Domininque's apartment at 43 Rue de Selves. It is an easy 5-7 minutes stroll into town one way and 3-4 minutes to the supermarket the other way. The apartment itself worked just fine and Dominique makes a wonderful host. To top it all there is a lovely garden to relax in and enjoy your own barbecue.

We were very happy with our stay in Sarlat. The apartment had all the comforts of home with plenty of room to spread out. It was bonus to have an English speaking owner who was very helpful and informative about the area. Great value for the price we paid, and within easy walking distance to the centre of town. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings add to the charm. We would love to go back for another stay.

We were two middle aged couples travelling together and stayed at this apartment. The location is fabulous with just a short 10 minute walk into the town. There was plenty of room for all of us and having a second toilet is a bonus. Whilst we didn't cook any evening meals the kitchen was well equipped. The owner is great to communicate with, answering any questions promptly. We would highly recommend staying in this apartment if visiting Sarlat.

We enjoyed our stay at this little oasis outside Sarlat. The host is friendly and helpful and speaks fluent English. We had plenty of room for me, my husband, our 4 year old and infant and mother in law (in two double bedrooms). The beds were very comfortable and rooms nicely appointed. The patio is a lovely breakfast spot. TV and Internet worked well. We were very comfortable and happy to be there.

The home was beautiful and the location was excellent. The owners live next door and are very helpful and nice, but not obtrusive. The home is a bit hard to find, so make sure you know the directions and have their contact number in case you run into any problems. The washer was a nice touch, and the kitchen is well stocked to cook in. It's a very close walk into town and a relaxing get-away. We were on a big 2 week trip from the States and it felt nice to have a relaxing home base. I would definitely recommend for couples or families.

We are loving our patio and yard. The location is great. Our host is helpful but never intrusive. The Dordogne is wondrous.
