Excellent location, 45 minute drive to CDG, wonderful country drives to Senlis, Chantilly and other villages in the area. The apt is very comfortable, securely location behind a big green gate in a lovely garden srea. Sit out on a bench to relax in quiet and read, walk into the village for your morning baguette, or the small grocer for your simple need. Vanessa and Adrian have made this a home away from home, with all necessities to be very comfortable. Bed is great , linens wonderful, excellent internet, TV English stTions a plus for us. This was our second stay, And will certainly return, when we can. Thank you

We travelled to France for a wedding and booked this Gite based on location, the property is based within the owners garden but is still quite secluded and private which was lovely. The owners were very accomodating and we felt that the accomodation itself had everything we needed. We would definately reccomend to anyone looking for somewhere outside of the bustle of Paris! 1 warning i would give is bring a stairgate if you have small children as the staircase is quite steep!

This gîte, set in the garden of the owners' house, is about 30 minutes drive from the pretty town of Chantilly. It clearly has had time and energy spent on it, with good quality furnishings, high end appliances, and some interesting photos and prints. Billed as a "luxury" gîte, the bathroom is sufficient, although compact, and the kitchen contains some useful tools that are somewhat worn and were not especially clean (one baking tin was rusty, for example). There is an abundance of tourist leaflets, although some of these are more than ten years old, so it is hard to know how up to date the information is. Our arrival at the property was somewhat marred: we could have used directions on getting to the property as the main route through the town had been shut for several weeks and this was not on our sat nav. The owners were away during our visit, and the people who were covering for them had not been informed of our sleeping arrangements or our departure date. The master bedroom has been thoughtfully furnished and is spacious. Parents of younger children might wish to know that the upstairs windows are large and side-opening and there is no barrier between the open window and the outside world.

We spent a fantastic week in this beautiful gite. We received a wonderful welcome from the owners Adrian & Vanessa. The location is perfect as you have a beautiful quiet garden to relax but are only a short walk from bakeries, restaurants, a bar and a lovely park. There are also great places to visit, all within a short drive. We will definitely return and would recommend to anyone looking for a holiday in this area.

Spent a great week in this lovely gite and the hosts were friendly, helpful and provided great tips on things to do in the area. The gite was clean and well equipped. The games room was great for keeping my nine year old niece entertained. The gite is in a town and you can walk to the bakery for crossiants and baguettes in the morning. We packed a lot into the week and would recommend parc asterix and Monet's Garden. The market at Senlis on Tuesday morning was good and a lovely town to walk around. Perrifonds and Chantilly are other towns that are nice for a walk and the chateaus are worth seeing. If holidaying in the area again would book this gite. Would recommend this gite

So well-equipped and comfortable, the cottage was a great base for our explorations of the area (Gerberoy, Chantilly, Senlis, etc). Mouy itself is a typical small French town... with five bakeries! At the end of each day, we loved relaxing in the sunshine of the spacious garden - usually watching our little dog trying to entice the friendly cats to play! Being big kids we also enjoyed playing table football and table tennis in the adjoining barn! The loan of the bikes was a nice addition too. Thank you to Adrian and Vanessa who were perfect hosts - unobtrusive yet helpful, including through the booking process and answering our queries before the trip.

The cottage was both spacious and cosy, it was beautifully designed and well-equipped with all the living, cooking and cleaning items you might need on holiday. The bedrooms were thoughtfully laid out with plenty of room for clothes, shoes, luggage etc. The shower/toilet room was functional and the downstairs toilet was an added bonus. There is parking beside the cottage which is next to the walled family home - very nice. We were visiting family and for us, the location was fantastic, but I also know there's a local train station with routes to Paris. There are plenty of patisseries only a few minutes walk away for the delicious French breads and pastries! Overall, we had a fantastic, fun weekend and the cottage, Vanessa and Adrian helped to make this happen.....we're already looking forward to return in the future.

This Gite is a converted stable block which has been converted to a very high standard. It has a well equipped kitchen and has 2 very good sized bedrooms and the owners can convert the beds to doubles or twins. It is a very nice and comfortable place to stay. The owners Adrian and Vanessa were extremely welcoming and helpful. There is a large garden you can use together with barbecue facilities. Local bakeries are within walking distance and 2 large supermarkets are a short 10 minute drive away. As the name suggests this is a charming and tranquille place to stay. Its also a good base to visit Chantilly and the main towns in the region. Our highest recommendation is that we would stay here again if in this area of France.

Nous avons séjourné à plusieurs reprises à la source tranquille et nous y retournerons. C'est un havre de paix en ville. Commerces, boulangerie, pharmacie, presse, poste sont accessibles à pied. A ceci, il faut ajouter, la beauté du gîte bien équipé et meublé avec goût, la proximité de Beauvais, Chantilly, Paris, Compiègne, Ermenonville, la mer de sable, le parc Astérix, les forêts.... Et si l'on reste à la source tranquille, on peut jouer au ping pong, aux fléchettes ou au baby foot. Nous remercions Vanessa et Adrian pour leur accueil chaleureux, leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité et pour mettre en valeur le département de l'Oise.

La Source Tranquille really does live up to it's name. Behind the walls lies a real hidden treasure, perfect if you're looking for a completely relaxing 'get away from it all' setting. Having said this we also found it perfect for our two girls aged 10 and 13, who loved the games room and the garden - complete with trampoline, badminton net, rope swing etc. whilst we enjoyed a glass of wine (or two) under the shaded dining area. All of which were very private from the owner's garden and property. The gite itself was extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. Paris and Park Asterix were both within easy reach of the property, as were swimming lakes and chateaux. The owners, Vanessa & Adrian, were extremely helpful and friendly and were able to offer lots of suggestions for things to do and places to visit. Would definitely recommend this home from home property.
