Our expectations were totally surpassed on our three night stay at Domaine Airborne. The hosts, Carli and his wife, were very welcoming and were fonts of knowledge about the local area, giving super restaurant suggestions and ideas for days out. We also enjoyed a Jeep tour with Carli which allowed us to visit places off of the typical tourist trail. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and perfect for families. It also was very tastefully decorated with touches of history all around. My review would not be complete without mentioning the resident dog, Cody, who was adored by my children! I cannot recommend a stay here highly enough.

Run by a punctual Dutchman, who is very knowledgeable about the history of the invasion, this is the perfect location for your stay in Normandy. Modern, clean, great breakfast, perfect location and decorated with a nice vintage army look, you will not regret staying here. Highly recommended!!

Stayed here a couple of nights as we b=visited the nearby Normandy WWII museums and beaches. Perfect location for getting around--close to everything but not surrounded by other tourists. Loved the two donkeys in the neighbouring field and the grounds which were filled inside and out with memorabilia pertain to the invasion--even things unearthed on the property. The hosts were very friendly, accommodating and knowledgable--again perfect. The room was very spacious and modern. Would love to visit in the summer--we were there in late October for a hail and lightning show--still no complaints!

We booked to stay here for three nights as our last stop off on a 2 week holiday. We weren’t sure what to expect, the photos on the website looked ‘cool’ but you never know until you get there. It was stunning - a quiet farm set around a courtyard with reflective touches relating to WW2 and the Airbourne D Day landings. We arrived and were greeted by the lovely owners who are both so friendly. We were shown to our accommodation with a kitchenette on the ground floor, a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and whilst my daughters were a bit disappointed to not get the room with bunk beds when they saw that they were sleeping in the attic room they were more than happy. Everything was clean, tidy and functional with an olde works twist. The bathroom was large enough for us all to be in at once if need be and the kettle and fridge were invaluable as we were able to make hot drinks and store milk water and snacks etc. We settled down for the evening to read with the window open over the courtyard with cows mooing in the fields, it was idylic. Breakfast is served in the converted barn, which is crammed with memorabilia which the owners have unearthed in the fields. Breakfast was lovely, fresh croissants, bread, juices, yogurts, and freshly boiled eggs. Perfect for a day of sight seeing. To top our stay off the owners have an original American Jeep which they conduct tours of the area in. Do it!!!! It’s fantastic. You’ll find out so much about what went in right on your doorstep! It’s one of those things our children were buzzing over and will remember for a long time. We would definitely stay there again as we didn’t get to see everything we wanted too.

Endroit très chaleureux ou l on retroune déjà une partie de histoire avant de avoir visiter la Normandie. Très bon accueil. Chambre Sympa.petit déjeuner copieux .un avre de paix au milieu de la nature. N hésitez pas.

Superbe domaine reconstitué en camp US. Le cadre verdoyant et calme inspire à la tranquillité et au repos. Les chambres sont originales et bien équipées (Wi-Fi compris), décorées avec des tenues d'époque. La literie est confortable et la salle de bain est fonctionnelle. Le petit-déjeuner proposé est copieux et tout à fait excellent. Le domaine dispose d'un parking gratuit et le propriétaire des lieux est personnage passionné et fort sympathique ! Que ce soit pour une nuit ou pour une semaine, je vous le recommande !

Super locatie middenin het gebied waar het allemaal heeft plaats gevonden op 6 juni 1944. Zeer gastvrije ontvangst, sfeervolle accommodatie met een een historische tint. Erg luxe ontbijt. De gastheer kan u enthousiast vertellen over de gebeurtenissen rond 6 juni 1944!

El alojamiento es impecable, con todos los detalles, sito en un lugar tranquilo en medio de la campiña normanda, en el que solamente se oye el trino de los innumerables pájaros. La atención personal es exquisita y el desayuno es completísimo en un espacio repleto de recuerdos auténticos de la guerra. Mansión histórica, escenario de un encuentro entre aliados y ocupantes.
