Very relaxing..
I didn't realise how stressed I was until I spent the first night at the cottage. The bed is really comfy and the view in the morning of the lake is blissful! There was a moorhen family dabbling, rabbits scampering on the lawn and colourful dragonflies patrolling the lake. Fascinating to watch and so relaxing.
Location wise, easy to get to Framlingham, we walked there in under two hours and had a much deserved lunch at the Dancing Goat. The coast is an easy 20 minute drive.
Local pub 20 minute walk away, lovely beer and food, 'Fram' is 10 minutes drive away with plenty of eating places and a great castle.
Finally, the hosts Tim and Chris are as described, there if you need them but otherwise very unobtrusive.
A great place to stay any time of year, well be back!

Lovely Holiday Cottage
The online pictures of Willow Cottage made it look idyllic and we were very pleased to see that the reality did not disappoint. The cottage borders a small and picturesque lake which is the main view from the living room's bifold doors. Through a side window of the living room you can see the willow trees in an expansive lawn. There was plenty of wildlife on show which, for us, included a deer, rabbits and many birds. The cottage's location was very peaceful yet with tourist spots within easy reach. We visited Framlingham Castle and Bury St Edmunds as well as coastal towns such as Southwold and Aldeburgh - all very scenic and made for a lovely stay.

Very Peaceful
A lovely converted stable with modern appliances in a peaceful setting next to a large pond with wildlife. There are lots of birds, some ducks, moorhens and sometimes geese. Twice, early in the morning there was a deer in the large garden that you look out onto. Rabbits and squirrels hop around and the willow trees gracefully add to the ambience. The sunset is visible from the terrace and there are some country walks on the doorstep. Framlingham town is under 10 minutes by car. Beaches such as Covehithe are 30 minutes drive. Tina and family are friendly and helpful - and once in the cottage you have complete privacy.

Wow what a beautiful place
My stay here at Willow cottage was amazing, What a relaxing peaceful place With a beautiful idyllic setting, surrounded by nature, not far from the town of Framlingham. The cottage was very clean and really cosy. Tina and her husband were fantastic hosts, really friendly and made my stay very comfortable! I was supposed to stay here 5 nights but I loved it so much I didn’t want to leave, so I extended my stay another night (which was no bother). I would definitely recommend this idyllic little cottage to get away from the hustle and bustle, set in stunning grounds. I will definitely be coming back here to my new happy place... thank you so much for a wonderful stay! One I’ll never forget :)

Stunning location

Wonderful peaceful cottage
We had a lovely week at this peaceful country cottage by a pond. We appreciated the gifts from the lovely owners. There was always something to see around the pond, we loved seeing moorhens, mallards, deer, corncrakes, rabbits etc. It’s a great location for exploring Suffolk!
The only downside was the bed, I failed to notice in the photos the double bed had a solid wooden footboard so anyone over 6ft won’t fit well. I’m 6ft 7in so had to leave the bed to my wife and I slept on the sofa. We did have a lovely time though thank you, the cottage was beautifully presented and equipped.

Peaceful.
Lovely peaceful and beautiful location. Fairly central to tour a lovely county, not far from the coast where we found some great walking. Accomodation cosy with underfloor heating and well equipped with all you need for a relaxing and enjoyable break.

Idyllic Country Cottage
Excellent place to stay, peace and quiet guaranteed. Comfortable well maintained converted stable set in a lovely countryside location. Highly recommended and we will be going back again.

Perfect
Exactly what I needed. Small but perfectly formed, private and pretty. There are nice easy walks accessible from the garden and it’s lovely to sit and watch the ducks and moorhens on the pond. Highly recommended.
