A Morzine Gem 💎
We've recently arrived back from a half term ski trip in Chalet Roc. The chalet was absolutely perfect for our 2x families and Matt (the owner) went above and beyond to make our holiday special. We were pleasantly surprised by the overall size of the chalet and outside space. The room sizes and arrangement were excellent with the 4x bathrooms being a huge plus.
The mezzanine room was ideal for the teenager amongst us but I wouldn't recommend it for grown-ups or those likely to need the toilet in the night as the stairs are a little steep.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need and we made good use of the board games available in the storage area. There is plenty of storage, hanging space and hooks (something most places lack on).
My favourite place was the hot tub, which looked out onto the snow covered mountains ☺️, just perfect after a day in ski boots for relaxing those somewhat shocked and battered muscles.
The walk to the lift was tough going on the first day (mainly down to fitness rather than distance) but we walked up to Piste B and skied down from there for the duration of our stay. It was a bit icey on our last day so we had a good laugh skidding down the last bit on our butts!
If I were to pick any fault it would be the amount of dust and the uncleaned bath but it's not something we were overly fussed about.
Communication between the owner from the start of booking to leaving was great, the ability to chat via WhatsApp was ideal.
Overall we had a fabulous time and would recommend Chalet Roc highly.
We hope to return one day

3 years later and we made it to Chalet Roc!
We booked Chalet Roc back in 2019 directly through Matt, the owner. Fast forward 3 years and many disappointing cancellations due to the pandemic, we finally got to Morzine last week!! Matt was extremely accommodating throughout
helping us move dates and keeping us in the loop with regular e-mail updates.
When we arrived in Morzine, the chalet itself wasn't quite ready but we were able to leave our bags and explore straight away; the chalet is a short stroll from the town centre's bars, restaurants and food shops. When we returned we were excited to get straight into the hot tub but unfortunately it was stone cold! Whilst this was pretty disappointing for our first night we contacted Matt and we were able to sort it for night 2 and beyond. This was an absolute game changer after a day of skiing!
The chalet set up is good - boot room super handy, a nice communal area and various different bedroom set ups. We didn't fancy the loft room as the stairs were pretty narrow but would be perfect for kids. If we could find any faults, it would be that the cleaners aren't doing Matt and Chalet Roc justice. All our rooms were pretty dusty and the sheets weren't very clean. This would be our only observation but given we had an amazing week this didn't phase us too much. The Chalet was stocked with so much more than the usual cutlery/crockery - there were slow cookers, blenders, raclette machines and toastie makers! We had packed washing machine tablets but these were all available in the utility next to a huge stack of board games. A superb collection of everything you could imagine!
Thanks again Matt for an amazing stay. We're so glad we finally got to Morzine - we had an amazing week and hope to return one day!

Exceptionnel
Nous avons passé une semaine exceptionnelle en famille, avec neige et soleil. Le chalet est tout simplement fabuleux, le centre de Morzine est à proximité et les remontées mécaniques aussi. Possibilité également de laisser skis et chaussures au loueur à coté des remontées mécaniques. Parking voiture également à proximité du Chalet. Et si vous avez un problème, Kevin est là.
Nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir.

Fantastic Chalet in an Incredible location
An incredible Chalet perfectly located for a skiing holiday. It's an easy stroll into town or the bottom of the lift. You can also ski right back to the Chalet There are numerous restaurants and bars to choose from in the evening if you don't fancy cooking at the Chalet.
The Chalet comes with everything we needed. Nice hot showers. The outdoor hot tub was an especially welcome addition to the holiday, especially after a day on the slopes.
The owners were always very helpful and quick with responses and made the booking process a smooth and easy process.
We are all looking to return for another season.

Fantastic stay, superb location
Lovely modern chalet in a fantastic, very central location in Morzine close to the lifts, great restaurants, supermarket and village. Good equal size bedrooms, open plan kitchen living space, parking and covered hot tub in a private garden. Very friendly and extremely responsive host. Our 5th stay now at this chalet, we’ll definitely be back.

Lovely chalet in a great location!
Had a great time at Chalet Roc. Perfect for a weeks skiing with friends. Loved the location, views and of course the hot tub! Looking forward to rebooking during the summer to make the most of all the activities the Alps has to offer.

Great location
We had a great stay. Perfect location just a few minutes walk from both of the main lifts and stumbling distance from bars and restaurants. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Great property in Morzine
Lovely chalet with hot tub. Well equipped and comfortable for our family group of 10. The owner, Matt, is responsive and a pleasure to do business with. We booked direct with Matt.

Fantastic Chalet in central Morzine
My family and I spent 4 weeks in the chalet with various friends over xmas and new year and had a brilliant time. The chalet is very well kitted out and well looked after. It is only a couple of hundred metres from the centre of Morzine as well as both Super Morzine and Pleney lifts. The owner was very helpful and the support guys from the hot tub guy to the laundry boys were all friendly and reliable.

Great stay in Morzine
Chalet Roc is central and a short walk from the Pleney ski lift as well as all good restaurants and central town. A lovely place to stay, modern rooms and bathrooms, a good kitchen and a large dining table. Everything you need. We had an awesome time !
