Excellent Host
From the booking process to the day we left this was a 1st class experience. A beautiful home, great views and a warm and homely surroundings.
Comfortable beds and everything you need from the moment you arrive. Coffee, tea, even Cereal and biscuits for the kids.
We will definitely book with Louise and Peter again. A really nice couple. Thank you for sharing your lovely family home.

Fabulous family home with breath-taking scenery
The location was perfect - the cottage is nestled in the most amazing countryside, overlooking Carlingford Lough. The peace and beauty was a joy to wake up to each morning with beautiful views of the Mountains of Morne
Three lovely bedrooms with spectacular views and BarView has everything you need for a wonderful family holiday. The interior of the house has been so tasteful designed and modernised but without losing the authenticity of the area. The kitchen is perfect and everywhere is filled with light and space.
We have been to nearby Newcastle and walked along it’s lovely prom and spent a lovely afternoon in Tollymore Forest (otherwise known as Westeros in Game of Thrones)
We have had the most relaxing time and with the sunshine and fresh air our batteries are completely recharged!
Will definitely be coming back

Beautiful Cottage with Stunning Views - Irish Hospitality at its Best
We stayed in Bar View House in August 2018. What a beautiful cottage and location!!!
We've been to Newry before and have family in the town, so we know the area a little. The location on the Flagstaff Road is simply stunning. If you're looking for somewhere that is peaceful, this is the place to be. The house is set back from the road and is set in picturesque surroundings. The views down to Carlingford Lough and the sea beyond are amazing from all aspects. The walk up to 'The Flagstaff' is well worth the effort as the great views over the Mourne Mountains and Coastline are outstanding.
The accommodation is well proportioned and equipped to a high standard. There was a lovely welcome pack of fruit and local produce which was much appreciated as we arrived quite late.
A big thank you to Louise and Peter for their wonderful hospitality.
We loved so much we have already re-booked for 2 weeks in 2019.

Perfect huis.
Een geweldige vakantiewoning die al onze verwachtingen ver overtroffen.
Een vriendelijke ontvangst door Peter die alle tijd nam om uitleg te geven en vragen te beantwoorden.
Het huis is voor een vakantiehuis enorm luxe ingericht en gedecoreerd.
Door de ligging van het huis heb je rondom en vanuit alle ramen fantastische uitzichten.

Warm welcome to a wonderful house
Amazing location and views. The house is very clean, well-stocked, and with great and fully functional amenities. The owner is very helpful and pleasant. Definitely a place to be recommended.

Fantastic home! Family of 3 children and 2 adults, this home had over and above the required facilities. It was warm, clean and decorated to a high standard. The owner was close to hand if we needed anything and was very friendly and helpful.
Views are fab from all rooms.
A lot of activities and places to visit were only a short drive away.
Would definitely recommend this place and would return again

Fantastic stay
Had a wonderful family holiday in 'Bar View House.' Louise and Peter presented the house to us in pristine condition with our every wish catered for.
The area is ideally suited for scenic walking and Golf at WarrenPoint. The city of Newry is two miles away with all the usual amenities.
Cannot wait to holiday in this house again.

superbe maison tout confort
l'endroit est superbe vue magnifique sur la baie la maison est idéalement placé non loin de Belfast (45min en voiture) elle est très confortable idéal pour une famille les propriétaires louise et Peter sont adorable il nous on accueilli en ayant au préalable fait les courses pour le petit déjeuner irlandais thé café gâteaux...
la prestation à un très bon rapport qualité prix
si nous devons revenir en Irlande du nord je réserverai a nouveau cette maison les yeux fermé
le seul bémol le reseau wifi est faible donc internet est lent
