Wonderful
One of the best cottages we've stayed in. Everything you need and more, all top quality. Very peaceful location with all the places to visit such as the Giants causeway, rope bridge, Rathlin Island etc not far away. Hope to return some day.

Great Stay
We stayed for a week in August in this wonderful house. Spotlessly clean and so comfortable. There is absolutely everything you need in it. The outdoor area is so lovely and the summer house with children's toys was an added bonus. Close proximity to Diversity play park and Strand beach in Portstewart. The host was available to answer all queries promptly. We would highly recommend and stay here again.

Beautiful North Coast accommodation
Spent a week at Heather Cottage located in a quiet cul de sac in Portstewart. I went with my Partner and two children aged 13 and 2 years old. The house was lovely and clean.
I was very impressed with how well stocked the house was with absolutely everything you would need for the stay. Including a fab travel cot.
The back Garden was is a gem. Lovely and private. Beautiful at night with the led lights and water feature. The summer house had toys available for the toddler. Also we were happy to see a windbreaker which we used at the strand beach.
Vera and Mervyn were extremely helpful when I needed to contact them.
Nearby you have a Tesco and a children's play park.
Would definitely recommend this accommodation to friends and family and will return again in the future.

Perfect spot
Location suited us well, a short car ride to anywhere we wanted to go. The park was walking distance for our 2 yr old. There were 4 adults and 1 child. The house was clean, tidy and had all we needed and more. Was like home from home. Enclosed safe backyard with lovely hanging baskets which we watered. . . We loved that it was in such a quiet neighbourhood. Would highly recommend.

The perfect place to recharge your batteries!
Heather Cottage is set in a quiet cul-de-sac. The house itself is equipped with everything possible to make your stay comfortable. Ample seating area, a fully functional kitchen with every utensil you will need. Utility room with washing machine and tumble drier. Three great bedrooms, two bathrooms with your toiletries supplied. At the back of the house is a beautiful paved area planted out in an array of brightly coloured flowers. You are supplied with comfortable chairs and sun loungers to relax in this quiet space .Also a barbecue is available and afterwards you can turn on the fairy lights and enjoy the long summer evenings.There is also a summer house which opens up onto the paved area where you can sit and read or watch television if the weather is cooler. The outside space is also great for children as it is totally safe and there are even toys on site to keep them amused.... The house is within walking distance of Tesco. Also within walking distance is a very nice play park which was enjoyed by our grandchildren. A short drive takes you into Portstewart and down to the beautiful beach, Portstewart Strand,which is run by the National Trust. There are many other beaches and scenic places to visit in this area and Heather Cottage is an ideal base to enjoy this beautiful North Coast from. The only thing Vera could not supply was the weather, but nevertheless we were blessed with two beautiful weeks! We fully intend to return again this summer.

Don't hesitate, just book this
This is no ordinary holiday let - this is a proper holiday home that the owner has spent both time and money thinking about what holidaymakers want and need to have a perfect holiday. Included in the back garden is a summer house complete with a sofa, armchairs and a tv - just the job if members of your party wish to have a quiet moment alone, or just to enjoy sitting in the garden if the weather is not too good.
The bungalow is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and is a 5 minute drive to the famous Strand beach at Portstewart.

Lovely cottage - a real home from home
This house is just great. From the moment we arrived it felt like home. Everything we needed for the week was there and it was very comfortable for us all and convenient for the natural delights of the area.

Our second year staying at Heather Cottage. Lovely warm clean accommodation fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Close to Portstewart and for Max most importantly the lovely park at flower fields. Totally home from home with a lovey welcome package when you arrive that was very much appreciated. We would fully recommend Heather Cottage.

Beautiful, well equipped home.
We really enjoyed our stay at Heather Cottage, from the very warm welcome from the owners we felt at home right away. The cottage is very well equipped, exceptionally clean, plenty of room, comfortable bed and a delightful enclosed area at the rear of the property. It's clear that the owners have put a lot of thought into making sure guests have everything they need for an enjoyable holiday. It was lovely to find a bottle of wine and the essentials for a cup of tea waiting for us on arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

Heerlijk huis
We werden door de heer en mevrouw zeer hartelijk ontvangen.
Het is een huis waarvan ik dacht, ik stap weer in mijn eigen huis, echt alles is aanwezig.
De bungalow ligt aan een pleintje, met meerdere vrijstaande huizen, veilig voor kinderen.
Vond het wat te ver van het strand af liggen, overigens een prachtig strand, heerlijk om te wandelen.
