Excellent Holiday
Just back home to England after a great 10 day holiday at Salmonquays. My wife was born in County Mayo, and we had a family holiday at Salmonquays in 2017. We are retired and met up in 2017 with my adult son and various members of my wife's family.We enjoyed that holiday, and always intended to return to this property. Time has passed and for various reasons including Covid after 7 years we returned again to holiday with family. We hope our next visit will be sooner. This property deserves some praise. It is in an ideal location, near The River Moy, close to the lovely Town of Ballina, just a few minutes drive or a bit longer walking alongside the river. Close by in the evening along the river is a pleasant walk for a meal or just a drink at the Ice House, delightful. Also a couple of other pubs nearby. There are many superb places to eat in the area. The house is ideal for a group of adults or for young family members. Spacious kitchen/ dining room, all appliances. All rooms are well equipped. A pleasant back garden with furniture. The house is in a very quiet area. The amount charged by the owner is very fair given the facilities provided. Many thanks to the owner.

Wonderful Stay
We have just spent a lovely week in Salmon Quays.
The house is situated in a peaceful housing estate and was clean, spacious and equipped with all necessary amenities.
It also boasted a great location, just a short walk down to the quays/marina which had a lovely restaurant- Crocketts and also a very short drive into Ballina town.
What was also great was the proximity to Enniscrone beach, only 10 km away.
The owner Paul was very pleasant and efficient in all correspondence.
Would highly recommend a stay in Salmon Quays.

Wonderful returned holiday
We have just returned home after a week at Salmon Quay. Due to lockdown we could not go last year. It is a fabulous house very spacious with all amenities you could want. The location is ideal for touring and also for relaxing as the beautiful beach at Enniscrone is only a short distance away but if you just want to relax with a book the large garden is a sun trap and there are good sun lounger. The town of Ballina is a short distance away with a great selection of restaurants cafes and bars with music and of course shopping food etc. We were sad t leave but we hope to return next year. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation and location.

Ideal property for families looking to explore the west coast
Great location near to coastal routes. Well equipped house, plenty of rooms for a large family. Good nearby restaurants to eat. Would definitely stay at this house again.

Great holiday in Ballina
My family and I have just returned from a week's in the above Salmon Quay accommodation which is in a quiet residential area. This spacious 4 bedrooms house with unsuited in main bedroom. Lounge has 3 large leather setters,TV, DVD, and music centre. Also down stairs toilet. Kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances F/Freezer dishwasher,washer/dryer. Also a large Dining room table which seats 8 people. The garden is enclosed with Apple trees etc a truly great entrap and very safe for children. There are adequate chair and subbed also two barbecues for all your needs.The location is within walking t Ballina town and a short drive takes you to the beautiful beach of Enniscrone. On arrival you will meet Geraldine who is there to give you advice and help you with any problems. We loved it so much we are going back next year.

Great house!
We have been visiting and staying with family in Ballina for over 20years, this time we needed extra space, and space is exactly what this house provides. We were travelling with 5 adults and 3 children (2, 3 and 6) we never once felt over crowded. Although we never got the chance to use it (typical Irish weather) the garden is a good size.
The house comes well equipped with kitchen utensils and crockery, including plastic plates and cups. It was clean in all areas and the beds were fresh and comfortable.
The location is perfect, you are just a short walk into town, along the river.
We would definitely return to this property.

Perfect, great location, facilities, beautiful house
We had such a great stay at Salmon Quays. The house was beautiful, location was perfect - only minutes from Ballina and great base from which to see Mayo and West Ireland! This is a great family-friendly place with lots of space, en-suite facilities in master bedroom, comfortable with a number of bathrooms, kitchen and other amenities. Warm at night, great living room, we loved staying there. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone.

Wedding Holiday
The house was clean, ia great location for our wedding and exploring Mayo and well equipped. No Wi fi was a big disappointment as some of our party were from outside Europe and did not have their mobile phones fully active. We stretched the capacity by having 8 adults so the smallest room was a tight fit! Overall good accommodation and we would highly recommend it .
