Séjour aux Clos Olives à Comps
Excellent accueil dans ce gîte idéalement situé en terre de festivals (Avignon, Uzès, Arles et bien d'autres ). Un séjour très agréable (piscine), avec des hôtes charmants et disponibles. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié et nous recommandons.

Atmospheric, Warm and Detailed Hospitality
Jasmine and Patrice's charming cottage is situated in between Nimes, Avignon and Arles in Provence. We arrived just as spring began to sprung and the scenery on the property was picturesque -- vibrant flowers, birds chirping, and sunshine.
Upon arrival, we were kindly greeted by Jasmine and she gave us a detailed tour of the cottage in English (she taught us some French too). Each area was fully equipped and cleanly laundered, and we were treated like close friends who would be staying over. Jasmine even graciously provided a portable crib, high chair and toys for our 1-year old baby. I was in awe of the aesthetic and design sensibility of the property, as an interior designer I felt a renewed sense of inspiration by the atmosphere of the architecture and interiors, especially inspired by Jasmine's art featured throughout the cottage.
Jasmine and Patrice are wonderful people and seasoned hosts with the intent to make their guests' stay a memorable time in South of France. Over the course of our 2-week stay, we grew fond of the couple and Athena, their white fluffy dog. Our kids had a wonderful time and we will remember our stay for years to come. We can't wait to go back and bring our family. This was the quintessential stay in Provence thanks to the warm hospitality of Jasmine and Patrice.

Charme et calme : un séjour parfait en Provence
Nous avons passé quelques jours avec deux de nos amis, et l’accueil a été parfait ! C'est un endroit calme et chaleureux, parfait pour se ressourcer en Provence, loin de l'univers parisien :)

What a wonderful stay !
What a wonderful place this is.
We were in cosy cottage, quiet, in harmony with nature, in the midst of olive trees.
Coupled with Jasmine and Patrice's hospitality we will surely be back.
We wished we were staying longer as it was so peaceful and such a delight;
We would recommend this place for a very warm and memorable stay.

Exceptionnel
Tout est parfait de l’accueil à notre arrivée aux attentions de chaque instant. La sollicitude de nos hôtes a été continuelle mais jamais pesante. Le lieux est tout simplement beau et inspire à la détente, on se sent bien dans cet endroit. Il dégage de la sérénité, c’est un havre de paix et de tranquillité. La chambre est spacieuse et la salle de bain également. La situation géographique au top. Nous reviendrons.

A charming and peaceful find in the Gard
It was our second stay in Les Clos and it did not disappoint us. The hosts Jasmine and Patrice were as accommodating as ever, nothing was too much trouble. Les Clos was well equipped with outside space to soak up the sunshine with an impressive swimming pool. The location was peaceful yet with easy access to sites such as the famous Pont de Gard, it was everything you could ask for and well recommended.

Super place, super experience!
We rented this gite for the 4th year in a row and had a wonderful time with our little daughter of 4 years old. Everytime, we're delighted about the location and silence. The owners are warm, helpful and very discrete.
The house is fully surrouned with a wall/fence and you enter the driveway through an automatic gate.
The house is very clean and has all necessary facilities according to French standards. dIshwasher, dryer and washing machine are available and easy to use.
There are also 2 terraces, so you can choose the one that bests suits the time of the day. The pool is well maintained and situated in the sun!
In the neighbourhood you find a baker and a supermarket with all necessairy groceries.
Personally, we find this one of the best places to stay in the neighbourhood of Comps. We will definitely return in the future!

Nicely Located
The cottage was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates and cooking items to facilitate easy meal preparation and the refrigerator with the freezer was especially welcomed to make ice. A Weber charcoal grill along with standard grilling utensils was made available for use, however, the grill was caked with the grease and drippings of previous use.
The polite owner's home is located within the fenced and gated property so if you're looking for solitude, this may be an issue. While we only spent one day relaxing and using the swimming pool, it was enjoyable although the water could be a little warmer and perhaps a solar cover would be a good addition. Be sure to bring toilet paper and anything else you might need immediately as there was none to be found.
There is one standard double bed with a seperate twin bed in the sleeping area and a futon in the living room that makes into a very small double bed that really would only comfortably sleep one adult or two adolescents. The double bed in the master bedroom is very low to the floor making getting in and out of the bed difficult for anyone who may have physical challenges.
While the property has a washer and dryer, the washing machine took a very long time to wash a small load of clotheing and was very noisy. We have rented other apartments and gites and all had a manual of instructions describing how to operate the oven, washer, appliances, etc. This gite had no such instructions so the difficulty we had with operating the oven and the time it took to do laundry could be because we had a very difficult time trying to operate the appliances with no direction.
The property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood just outside of Comps proper. There is a wonderful boulangerie in Comps with the friendliest staff who although didn't speak much English, managed to be very helpful, friendly and made the most excellent breads. A new bicycle/walking trail is 30 meters from the property and offers a very nice area to walk or bicycle.

We were very pleased to welcome you in our cottage . As you said the gîte is well located and well stocked with ustensils . As you said the bakery in the village provide very good breads and croissant . we were a little bit surprised about what you said about the barbeque grill, because it is checked regularly and cleaned when necessary, but not after every use, as you would do in your own home.
The gite is to the side of the owner's property and we take great care to respect the privacy of our guests.All the guests we have welcomed for 15 years now always said we are really discret and hepfull .Feel free to read all the 25 reviews.
The swimming pool is as you would find in any normal French home in the south of France, heated by the sun.In the south of France the temperature reached easily 35 degrees in summer .
we haven t received no other complaints about the bed . It is normal for our French standard
There haven't been no previous problems with the washing machine and it is a standard type. there is even a program for short washing.
All the manuals for operating the items provided are made available in the gite in the drawer.
We speak good English and would be only to willing to help if asked.
We always provide a toilet roll as normal, usually there's a welcome pack.This time we have forgotten we are really sorry , but it was really easy to ask us instead of writing it down.
we have been welcoming people for 15 years now it's really the first time we met people we couldn't please entirely and we feel really surprised .
