Great stay in Gozo
Our extended family (9 adults) stayed in this property recently. It was perfect for us. The five bedrooms gave everyone enough room, and each one had its own en-suite bathroom. The kitchen was nicely appointed and had a large table to gather for dinner in the evenings. The back of the property provided a view over the farm fields towards the Dwejra Cliffs and was spectacular. The front of the property provided an entry through a shared alleyway in the small village of San Lawrenz. We used the lovely pool and lounge area every day. Organizing the rental through the owner was a pleasant experience.
Although San Lawrenz is on a more remote part of Gozo, we were able to travel around the island (and occasionally to Malta) with rental cars. We did not try to use the bus system, but it seems to be well-connected to all the other parts of the island. There is an adorable shop two blocks away, and one larger grocery store within walking distance so that we were always able to buy fresh food when we needed it. We did not try the one restaurant in the San Lawrenz square, but had a fabulous meal at a restaurant in Gharb, the next village over, also within walking distance. The Inland Sea (Dwejra) and a very nice restaurant are also within walking distance, if you are not allergic to hills.
There are several other items that are worth noting. We absolutely loved the proximity to the hiking trails along the cliffs. The owner also put us in contact with the local car hire company (Mayjo, which deserves its own five stars) who provided the most stress-free experience for renting cars that we have ever had, as well as arranged multiple transfers to and from the Malta airport in Valetta and its seaport. All were very reasonably priced.
If I could shave a few points off the 5, I would for two reasons unrelated to the property. First, hunting migratory birds is legal for two seasons each year; despite the fact that we were beyond the spring hunting season, there were hunters present and firing guns every morning. They are not hostile towards tourists, but it did make for an occasional less pleasant experience on hikes and a virtual absence of birds all over the island. Second (and this may be only relevant for visitors from the US), driving on the left was not as much as an issue as the chaos that ensued in trying to get from Point A to B, with cars haphazardly parked along major thoroughfares, and trucks and buses that traveled with little regard to smaller cars. Parking two cars outside the alley way was always possible, although very, very tight. The neighbors and village residents were polite if they felt that we had encroached upon their space.
We are SO happy that we chose this property and have many lovely memories from our stay there.

Wonderful !!!!
Nous avons passé de très belles vacances dans cette "farm house" . Mark a tout fait pour faciliter notre séjour , c'est un hôte très attentif et vigilant . Le village est beau , très calme , désservi par des bus , proche de sites magnifiques.....un vrai bonheur !
Notre tribu recommande chaleureusement cet hébergement à tout visiteur désireux de découvrir Gozo

home from home would definitely recommend
Mark the owner was extremely helpful. All the rooms were very comfortable and well equipped.The location was perfect with a couple of good restaurants close by. It is the ideal base for a relaxing holiday will definitely book again.

Wonderful Farmhouse in Gozo
We travelled as a group of four and had an amazing experience in Gozo. The farmhouse is very well located, close to good restaurants and supermarket. Car is a must to appreciate
this beautiful island. Farmhouse is extremely well equipped and had everything that
was required for a relaxing and comfortable break and we would have no hesitation in recommending it.
