Disappointing
We booked here for three nights for a break from the city only to find on arrival the owner was doing building work at the bottom of the driveway of the property which continued throughout our stay. We found ourselves unable to even hear one another speak whilst we sat outside trying to relax. On arrival our host, even though he saw us arrive didnt call by to greet us or even acknowledge we were there. We found this rude and unhospitable , especially since he was well aware of our presence. My partner returned to the property on one of the afternoons and was unable to take a siesta due to the noise. Both of us being in hospitality ourselves we found this all very disappointing and we were appalled that the owner seemed to think this was acceptable as he at no stage offered an apology for the ongoing noise. We love this part of our coastline and will certainly be back but not to this property.
