Truly, Paradise
The property is lovely, the amenities are fantastic, the pool is perfect and the entire stay was wonderful. We were met at the airport which was really helpful. We felt safe while on the property and while we were away, and we had an excellent stay on every level. I highly recommend this property!

Absolutely Incredible -We Highly Recommend Casa Caribe
We just spent 8 days at Casa Caribe, and we're extremely impressed with this villa and the owners and staff. We've stayed at upscale TripAdvisor/Flipkey, VRBO, and Airbnb villas across the US, Central America, and the Caribbean, and we found the combination of location, amenities, condition, and the people at Casa Caribe to be second to none.
The villa sits on a rise on the east end of Politilly bight, and has a commanding of the bight and shoreline. The reef is located about 100 yards offshore, which means you get a beautiful view of the surf, plus you get a protected bay in which to snorkel or take out the provided kayaks. The commanding location also ensures steady tropical breezes, so you'll seldom need the air conditioning, but the few times we turned them on they were quiet and powerful.
We really enjoyed the open layout of the top floor, and especially enjoyed the wrap-around veranda with its hammock and hanging chairs, which were a great spot to spend time with family and enjoy the breezes and surf. The first floor has 3 bedrooms with en suite master bath and shared bath for the other 2 bedrooms. All 3 bedrooms have private entrances from the wrap-around veranda, so you can go straight from bedroom to pool and jacuzzi (both of which were also in excellent condition).
The amenities and appliances are all upscale, newer, and in great working condition -everything from the Ninja blender for making daiquiris to the dishwasher, refrigerator with in-door dispenser, and the on-demand hot water heater. Wi-fi signal was strong throughout the villa.
The villa includes a private boathouse that houses kayaks, life jackets, and snorkel gear. You can take them out yourself, or give Brayan a shout (figuratively or literally) and he'll come and give you a hand -he even took us for a tour of the bight and led us through a mangrove channel to the neighboring bight.
While the location, amenities, and condition of Casa Caribe are all first-rate, what really puts it over the top is the staff. The owners Chris and Cassidy are fully engaged and take a personal interest in making sure your stay at the villa is everything you want it to be. They worked with us before our visit to recommend providers, checked in with us during our visit to ensure our needs were being met, and reached out after our visit to get our feedback so they could get even better. The on-island staff of property manager Liz and caretaker Brayan were just extraordinary. Liz met us at the airport, led us to the grocery store so we could stock up, and led us to the villa, all the time providing great local recommendations. Brayan is a skilled groundskeeper -you'll feel like you're staying in the middle of an arboretum -and he works tirelessly to keep the villa and grounds in excellent condition.

What a gem in paradise! Relaxation in the jungle with views that are MAGICAL!
I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and wanted to be near the ocean. Casa Caribe was the perfect place to stay! There is such love and charm in the energy of this house and it sits right on the point of Politilly Bight.
When we pulled up, the house seemed like a fantasy on the hill. The cherry red wrap around balconies gave this place such elegance. Talk about picture perfect as it lies against the most beautiful blue skies and is nestled in tropical palm trees and wild life. I love when you get excited about staying somewhere and this place creates just that feeling. I couldn't even explore inside until I witnessed the views. No matter where you stand, the views are breathtaking. To see an open ocean with shades of teals and royal blues from every angle of the property is spectacular. And the sunset falls right in the middle of the ocean every night. WOW!! How can you beat sitting in a hot tub or pool and watching a sunset.... YOU CAN'T!! Simply irreplaceable.
And once we moved inside, the layout of the house felt so open and cozy. The bedrooms had great space and the entire house was air conditioned. We didn't necessarily need to use it because we just opened up the windows each day and the breeze off the ocean onto the hill created a cool environment inside. But if you do need AC, the units are brand new!! I appreciate the fact that each bedroom had its own entrance so in the mornings, we didn't have to walk into a common space to go to the pool or hot tub. But when everyone was awake and we wanted to visit, the third floor layout made for a wonderful flow. It's has an open floor plan which made talking and hanging out super easy. You could tuck away to your own corner or you could hang out in the kitchen or one of the two living areas. And it has wifi! I needed to check work emails every now and then and the wifi gave me no problems. It was a nice touch when you feel so disconnected from the real world.
I would recommend staying here to anyone who is looking for a romantic getaway, a friendship gathering, or some family time to connect. Either avenue will be great at Casa Caribe. And don't forget that they have connections for scuba diving, snorkeling, cute restaurants on the mountains or beachside, etc.
