Paid in advance, but company canceled my trip laste minute. Ever since I try to get my money back. Be adviced: don't pay in advance! Besides thedisappointment of cancelling, you loose your money! Pour expirience!

This is a must experience!
Our travel group booked this boat trip on Halong bay - great group, friendly crew, comfortable accommodations and Amazing scenery. If you are visiting Vietnam, make sure to book a trip with Garden Bay Cruise! I definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed it!
This cruise is probably one of the cheaper ones, but it really did not feel that way. Rooms and windows are a decent size even if you do not have a rooms with a balcony. In my opinion it doesn’t really make a big difference to the room as you want to have a 360 view of the surroundings which can only be done on the deck.
Only thing I would like in the room is a door instead of a shower curtain to the bathroom, but that’s pretty much it.
Food is AMAZING!!!!!!
I would recommend taking extra water on the boat as the complimentary water is not enough. We probably drank at least 3 litres a day and was happy that we didn’t have to pay boat prices for the water.
The boat is clean and service top notch!
Lê, special shout out to you !! Great tour guide. Made sure everyone was aware of the itinerary and made an effort to include everyone . Great jokes and very knowledgeable. Super star!!
We were the only couple on the boat that did 2 nights and 3 days. All the other guests left and was replaced with new ones. Just be aware that they mix the cruise and that not everyone is on the same itinerary.
Our trip on the day boat was a wonderful experience with a wonderful guide. Wish I could remember his name!
Going to the fishing village was okay. I thought it was going to be a bit more interactive, but still stunning and beautiful. Tip: do not sit on the back seat of the little rowing boat !! We got hit in the head multiple times with the ores....it was quite funny.
Another tip......pay and extra $10 and upgrade your transport to a “limousine “ or luxury vehicle, from Hanoi. It’s sooooooo comfortable and the trip back is only 2.5 hours. Believe me!!! You will not be disappointed!

Luxury Garden Bay Halong Cruise
Amazing experience with a super nice and chill crew and great activities! Duc especially was so kind and funny. I will never forget this experience and the beautiful scenery.

Excellent 1 night cruise
The staff at Lucky2 Hotel recommended and organised this tour for us. We left early morning and got to Halong Bay at midday. We had a Seaview cabin with balcony and nice bathroom, hot showers. Once you left the bay and many boats, the views are spectacular. Staff on board were really lovely, food is great and they organised a cooking demo and early morning taichi. The kayaking was a little short but the itinerary was so tightly packed, you couldnt really squeeze in any more. The visit to the fishing village was very commercial, many tourist boats arriving at the same time, but good to support the local fishermen. Quang, our guide was excellent, very informative. This is a tour organised on a mass scale, but once you get out of the bay, there's enough space, it's well worth it.

Unique gorgeous landscape!
The cruise was amazing and the food was awesome! I did the 3 day tour and it was great! Be aware that kayaking and cooking class repeats on the second day at the same spots. Our guide Hoàng was very helpful and friendly.

We had such a great time on the Garden Bay boat, the crew cruise is amazing, and also our cruise manager Mr. Le it was helpful, fun and a very lovely human being.
I suggest you all to decide to travel with this crew, we had an amazing boat trip!!

Mini cruise
Wij hebben 1 nacht cruise geboekt op deze boot in een de luxe hut met balkon. Erg ruime kamer met prive balkon met 2 stoeltjes erop. Alles netjes en schoon. Leuke excursies naar een grot, visserdorp op halong bay met een kleine pauze om te zwemmen. Helaas is nu het water nog aan de frisse kant . Toen wij er waren was het zicht niet helder, veel nevel aanwezig , erg jammer want dan zijn de vele bergen in de baai slecht te zien, ook op deze dagen geen zon gehad. Volgens de gids schijnt de zon in dit deel van het land alleen in de herfst.. De boot heeft een zonnedek met bedjes en stoeltjes. Erg aardig personeel en een leuke manager. Personeel spreekt goed engels. Vanaf Hanoi wel een flinke trip van 4 uur in een vietnanese bus. Voor lange europeanen is dat aan de krappe kant.

Three star cruise and costly
We had a awesome experience with Garden Bay cruise in Halong Bay.
Halong Bay- the area is little far from bay area surrounded my thousands of smaller islands. The sea is very beautiful, peaceful and serene. There is another area called Cat Ba, which is included in 2 night tour.
Itenary- we had 4 set of food at boat including lunch, dinner and breakfast. The itenary includes travelling to floating village by kayak on your own, cooking class, fish catching, visiting nearby cave, etc. In the night the cruise is parked along with other cruise ships. Overall had a good experience.
Garden Bay cruise- the cruise is good for 12 people and had the right number of rooms. The staff is friendly and trained. Our guide accompanied us from Hanoi to boat, stayed overnight and dropped us till Hanoi. The rooms are clean, presentable, air conditioned with hot water availability.
Cost Effectiveness- we booked our travel through ODC travel from their website which has partnered with Tonkin running the Garden Bay cruise. We might have overpaid for the boat because of number of brokers involved. There is no way of knowing that but experience defeats that statement.
Food- coming from India we had people allergic to seafood and vegeterians. Of course we didn't expected Indian food but overall managed. The staff was very good and forthcoming in preparing vegetarian dishes for me, full points on that. The food presentation also deserves full marks. If you are too specific about food, do tell them in advance or carry ready to eat food.

Great cruise
The ship is a good size to keep numbers low, the schedule is packed to keep you moving.
You see so much of the beauty of the bay, you meet some local people, taste the local food, and still have time to sunbath and relax.
The rooms are nice and clean, with private bathrooms, the food is tasty and plentiful and the staff are friendly and attentive.
We weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the cruise overall
