Casa muito charmosa e confortavel, com jardins absolutamente espetaculares!Os lencois muito lindos e arrumados.
Local perfeito para passar uma quarentena! Jardins absolutamente deslumbrantes com plantas incriveis. O casal proprietario da casa muito atencioso e cuidadoso. Nao podiamos sair para compras e eles gentilmente fizeram as compras alem de nos fornecer vinhos chilenos organicos maravilhosos!

Amazing relaxing retreat near Santiago and historic wineries
Casa Ishi is the perfect location for your stay in Chile. 45 minutes from the Santiago airport and a short drive to several historic wineries. Enjoy breakfast on your private terrace overlooking the Maipo River. Wander the garden full of so many fruit trees (you can pick avocado, loquat, orange, apricot, peach, and more). Relax in the shade with your choice of seating areas. Adventure out to so many different wine valleys, to the coast to visit the famous poet Pablo Neruda’s home at Isla Negra, to a fabulous nearby farmer’s market, and so much more. Casa Ishi gets my highest recommendation. You will love it!

Just like a fairy tale!
Driving through this wonderful country with your GPS at hand wondering what awaits you behind the gate? Alas...A dream come true. The entire atmosphere of Casa Ishi is breathtaking. A fairy tale setting surrounded by nature galore of flowers, trees, gardens and places to rest and enjoy a book or a game of backgammon. The cottage-like guest house is completely separate from the main house with three separate units providing privacy for grandparents, couples and young adults. Fresh hand picked fruits and vegetables are available for plenty of home cooked meals. Also, minutes away from the top wineries like Concho y Toro and fine dining at Santa Rita. This is a must and by far the best part of our trip to Chile. The sound of the river alone creates a peaceful environment. Already missing the owners so lovely and kind as well as wonderful dogs 🐕 greeting you welcoming your stay at Casa Ishi.

Historic Guest House in Famous Wine Valley overlooking Maipu River Valley
This historic property in the Maipu wine district very close (40 minutes or so)to Santiago was the most delightful as well as memorable experience during three weeks travel in Chile. Our family (representing several generations and each needing its own space) was easily accomodated in the main guest house with three bedrooms, (one with a completely separate entrance), two baths, a full kitchen, living room. Outside terraces overlooked the Maipu River valley and provided the perfect spot for early morning risers, sunbathers and dining. Morning and evening meals were prepared in the well appointed (loved the gas stove and copper kettle)kitchen. The oldest generation resided in a separate but attached smaller guest house with its own kitchen, bathroom facilities. The property abounded with fruit trees, herbs, vegetables. Apples and peaches were foraged every morning for crepes. The smaller cottage like guest house is rented separately. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Terraced home is picturesque garden
I enjoyed an excellent stay at Casa Ishi. The orchard and garden provided us with fresh fruit and produce for our evening dinners on the terrace. The enthusiastic hosts were wonderful help with information about local tours ,wineries, history and Santiago.
I’d love to go back as soon as I can.

Excellent
This is a lovely B&B in a lovely setting. I'm not sure how many acres it's set on (perhaps 4 or 5) but the grounds are beautifully kept. The owners rent out a cottage on their grounds. There are three bedrooms, a nice kitchen, a pleasant living room, and a beautiful balcony. You'll get a secluded stay with beautiful surroundings just a short distance south of Santiago. Highly recommend.

Laying in Chilean paradise while fruit drops in my lap watching the sunset on a vineyard.
Gorgeous property with fruit trees, flowers, herbs, and green. The lodging has a charm indicative of Tuscany meets New Mexico but I was told is very Chilean and quit beautiful. Super comfortable beds and quaint private bedrooms with a wonderful hot full pressure shower in the bathroom I had. Easy to cook and our family even used the clay oven and the BBQ to make fun food while we were there(Little Chilean market nearby and bigger store ten minutes away). Multiple lounging deck areas with views of the canyon or gardens. Every night I went to sleep listening to the river cascade below. We sat and read, took naps, ate fruit and day tripped to the El Morado Glacier nearby to hike, Latin America's largest winery(Concha Y Toro) and walked/hiked in a nearby Reserve(Clarillo). Not far from Santiago if you crave "city" while staying there. We checked out villages and there were multiple vineyards around for wine lovers. Such variety!
It was incredibly restful and our hosts were awesome, coming to chat, check in, and see if there was any help on where to go and what to see.
I highly recommend.

Fantastic retreat at the foothills of and Andes
My husband and I, my son, and my sister and her son stayed at the guest house and had a wonderful experience. The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the estate. We definitely want to return when the weather is less rainy. Enjoyed the wine country, wonderful meals made by chef Mateo, and a bull roast at a local restaurant. Lizette, our tour guide, made sure we were comfortable and managed our sight seeing. If you are considering a visit to the Maipo River valley, this is the place to stay while touring the surrounding area.

Beautiful, lush and relaxing
I recently spent several days at Casa Ishi before a hiking trip to Patagonia. Casa Ishi is a wonderful contrast to Patagonia: calm and peaceful and sunny, a great place to relax before a more arduous trek. The grounds are spectacular with lush, beautiful gardens. Delicious fresh fruit grows on the property and there’s even a traditional Chilean mud oven for cooking pizza, empanadas, etc and a huge stone barbecue, both located in a nice shady spot under a big old walnut tree. Our rooms were perfectly appointed and lovely. The hosts are very attentive and know how to make their guests comfortable and happy.

A lovely retreat in the country close to Santiago, wineries and the Maipo Valley
We traveled with family and friends to Chile in March 2016 and stayed in Casa Ishi for 5 days. From the moment we arrived, Michelle made us feel welcome and went out of her way to make sure our needs were met.
The house is on a large, beautiful property that also includes the owners’ house and the caretaker’s house. There are 3 friendly dogs on the property. The house is on a hill with the living room and full kitchen on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms on a lower level. All rooms have a great view. There is a second apartment attached but separate with a king bed, full kitchen, and full bathroom.
The view is fantastic! If was very relaxing to sit on the terrace and look out at the waterfall and sip some Chilean wine. During the day it was too hot to sit on the terrace in the sun and we moved to the cool garden under trees. There were surprisingly few insects and we had a total of 2 bites each after 5 days without any repellent and keeping windows and doors open.
Our sleep quality was excellent – only an occasional dog bark or noisy motorcycle broke the sound of the waterfall across the river.
The location was excellent for tourists. It took us about 30 minutes by car to get to Santiago. The Maipo valley attractions are just up the road. Concha y Toro winery is 10 minutes away.
