Not suitable for us
This is a very nice apartment, well equipped and has a good view over the bay. I am sure for most people they would thoroughly enjoy staying here. It is convenient for the bus to the Old Town and the waterfront is in walking distance for most people. However when we booked I specifically asked about access and was told that there were 13 steps up the the apartment - my wife has walking difficulties and we were pleased with this detail and she felt that was something she could cope with. No mention was made of the fact it was on the top of a very steep hill and to get anywhere meant a struggle up and down this hill. Ok our problem, though had we known we would not have booked. The picture of the balcony looked ideal, but there is another apartment next door and the balcony is actually shared with the occupants - no physical barrier at all. We thus had the group from the next apartment sitting looking into our room at any time they chose. After 5 nights we gave up and moved to another location purely to get some privacy. I suggest a decent barrier is installed to provide some privacy screening. Overall the holiday has increased significantly in cost because of this and left us feeling le,t down because of lack of proper information.

Emplacement en toute tranquillité
L'emplacement du studio est au calme éloigné de la foule ce qui permet de profiter sereinement de la terrasse. Une station de bus à 2-3min permettant de rejoindre le centre ville très rapidement. Le studio est bien équipé et propre. Ivo est disponible et répond rapidement aux messages, nous avons été accueilli par la mère d'Ivo très aimable.
Nous recommandons ce studio.

gute Unterkunft für ein paar Tage Dubrovnik
Das Appartment ist sauber und ordentlich; alles was man brauchte, war da, inklusive ein großer Balkon.
Die Unterkunft liegt außerhalb des Stadtkerns von Dubrovnik in der Region Lapad, wo es viele Strände und auch Bars und Restaurants gibt. Die Bushaltestelle ist 5 Min. vom Appartment entfernt, was sehr praktisch war.
Für einen kurzen Besuch in der Stadt auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Studio tres propre, bien agencé, avec une jolie terasse, quartier calme, a proximité de la plage, des bars et restaurants
Ivo n'était pas present mais repondait tres rapidement aux mails, il nous a été d une grande aide
Ideal pour couple
Super sejour, je reviendrai sans hésitation
Points negatifs : pas de machine a laver (erreur sur le site) et coussins tres tres fins

The perfect base for lovely Dubrovnik
We stayed in this studio apartment on our first visit to Croatia. Ivo was very helpful over email in the lead up to the holiday, and there was always someone to help if needed when we were there. The apartment is clean and has everything we needed, air conditioning was great as it was hotter than we had expected, and the balcony and view were also much appreciated. Staying in Lapad is perfect, as you are close to beaches and green spaces, but also a 5 minute bus ride from the Old Town. Buses are frequent and cheap, we never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Lapad is also a regular neighbourhood with local people going about their business, which we like more than being right in the middle of all the tourist hotspots. Local restaurants Buono and Shikuro were both great, helpful staff and reasonably priced, as were the local supermarkets, Pemo and Tommy.

Excellent, clean, in calm area, ideal for two people
I would like to strongly recommend this place - a huge positive surpise to me and my boyfriend- first impression: clean, homey, calm. After 5 days our apartment was cleaned and our towels and bed linen changed. There are: air conditioning, iron, dryer, 5 towels, kitchennette with two hobs, kitchen with many cooking facilities. Owners also provide with salt and sugar and some tea. We also received sparkilng wine. There is a huge terrace overlooking a harbour, truly beautiful view! The owners are very kind and helpful.

Everything you needed , excellent host
Throughout the whole booking process, the owners were very quick to respond to any queries and give any information asked for. The property had everything you needed and was a good size and very clean. It was in an excellent location away from the main concentration of tourists, more where the locals lived, with a five minute walk taking you to plenty of cafes, bars and shops and transport links. The bus to the old town was very regular and cheap and only took ten minutes to get there. There is a very nice beach ten minutes walk away. Ivo the owner was very helpful and attentive and couldn't do enough to help.

Great studio in lovely area
My partner and I stayed in the studio for a week and had a fantastic time
When booking the studio the owners were extremely helpful and answered any questions we had, they also arranged a taxi from the airport for us which i would recommend doing if you do not know the area as the studio is not easy to find first time
we arrived early on our first day and were allowed to store luggage at the premises as the accommodation was not ready (we stayed in the ground floor apartment for first and moved to 1st floor studio the next morning as it had a large balcony which was what we wanted). The studio is compact but equipped with everything you need - you are even provided with washing up liquid and dishcloths which a lot of self catering places don't. The only thing missing was a kettle but to be honest you can buy a great cup of coffee at the bar at the end of the road so we didnt miss having one. The area is lovely - you are two minutes walk from bars/restaurants - the main part of Lapad Bay is left at the bottom of the hill and the bus stop is also there which takes you into the old town. The buses are very frequent and only take 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. The bay area is lovely to walk around - beaches are very pebbly - best one we found was copacabana which was about a 15 min walk around the bay. A must visit is Lapad area is the More Cave Bar at the More hotel - its a 10 minute walk from the apartment and provides gorgeous seaviews.
Dubrovnik old town is a must visit as it is so pretty and a walk around the walls i recommended for great views of the old town and surrounding islands.
If i go back to Dubrovnik I would definitely stay at the studio as it had everything we needed and was in a great location - couldn't fault it or out holiday (except the weather - it rained for 4 days which is pretty unheard of in August)

The sweetest couple we met! We strongly recommend this place! Maybe the views are not the best because of the building in front of the room but the hospitality, location and comfort make up for that big time! Thanks again Ivo & family for our fantastic stay! :)

Otima localização
O apartamento está localizado na peninsula de Lapad, muito perto da cidade velha, 10 a 15 minutos de bus nº 6, também alcança a praia de Lapad em 15 minutos a pé e tem um restaurante otimo no final da rua Dalmantinska o "BUONO". O apartamento tem tudo o que é necessário para ter uma estadia tranquila e confortável. O terraço é partilhado com outro apartamento, mas tem uma vista muito bonita e dá para tomar as refeições lá, é muito agradável. A net nem sempre trabalhou. Se pensar alugar carro , alugue por internet pois é barato e não há muita oferta local. Dos arredores o que nós gostamos mais foi Cavtat, é lindo . Pode ir de transportes público , bus nº 10. Faça um cruzeiro as ilhas Elefiti e não deixe de ir a Korcula. Tem uma praia muito bonita a 30 Kms - Slano. Fui também a Split e ao parque natural de Krka perto de Sibenik vale a pena, mas não dá para fazer num dia , nós dorminos em stobrec muito perto de Split e dá para ir de bus á cidade antiga , é muito difícil estacionar em Split. Fomos também ao Montenegro, a Baia de Kotor é de uma beleza surreal, estive também em Buvda, mas não gostei muita confusão muita gente na praia foi uma desilusão. Estivemos quinze dias na Croácia e adorámos.
