Villa Amrita offers an expansive 325 square meters (~3,500 square feet) of private living space surrounded by extensive tropical flower gardens, forests and green rice terraces dropping steeply below. The villa is located in an exclusive area- no other villas or buildings are visible. The night sky is filled with stars and the mornings with birdsong. Villa Amrita has 3 gorgeous bedrooms with bright, tropical en suite bathrooms, a 12 meter infinity pool, gourmet kitchen, custom living and dining rooms with a 55 inch LED TV with Yamaha home theatre, and a 36 square meter garden gazebo for outdoor dining, yoga and massage. Paradisiaque

Je voulais depuis lgtps écrire un avis sur cette villa sans la trouver sur le site. C'est chose faite. Nous y avons passé 4 nuits. Le personnel est attachant toujours prêt à répondre à nos besoins. La villa est très bien finie et le cadre paisible. Nous étions 6 avec chacun son intimité. N'hésitez pas un seul instant. Nous y avons de magnifiques souvenirs.

Hemel op aarde

Echt niks gevonden om opmerking te maken: prachtige goedgelegen (rustig) villa met zeer mooie inrichting. De kamers waren zeer ruim , de gemeenschappelijke woonruimte prachtig ingericht met grote eettafel en groot salon. Het personeel was top: vriendelijk en hartelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Op vraag werden schitterende maaltijden bereid, steeds zeer vers. Er was een driver voorzien die ons bracht waar we wilden. We kregen een GSM van het huis mee om later de driver of de gastvrouw te bellen . Het personeel leefde met ons mee, werd bijna familie zonder zich echt op te dringen, enkel uit gezonde interesse!

perfekter Ort um die Seele baumeln zu lassen

Ich verbrachte einen wunderschönen Kurzurlaub mit zwei weiteren Freunden in dieser Villa. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich der Infinitypool mit Blick auf den Dschungel und Reisfenster. Alles ist sehr luxoriös eingerichtet und sehr ordentlich. Ich habe im größten Zimmerkomplex genächtigt und mich gefühlt wie eine Prinzessin. Das Bett ist wunderbar weich mit vielen Decken und Kissen, es gibt einen riesigen Kleiderschrank, die Badewanne ist für zwei Personen ausgerichtet und hat eine Whirlpoolfunktion und zu guter letzt auch noch die beiden offenen Duschen. Das Personal war stets hilfsbereit und bereitete unser Frühstück nach unseren Wünschen vor. Gefallen hat mir die Soundanlage und die Möglichkeit in jedem Zimmer sein Handy per Bluetooth mit Boxen zu verbinden. Meiner Meinung gibt es in dieser Villa nichts zu beanstanden, ich kann es einfach jedem empfehlen dort seine Zeit zu verbringen, während er sich auf Bali aufhält. Ich habe dort vier Monate gelebt und studiert und einige Unterkünfte gesehen. Diese hat mich total überzeugt und ich habe mich gefühlt wie im Paradis. Die Villa an sich ist eine Insel der Ruhe und man kann eine super coole Zeit mit seinen Freunden dort verbringen.

A Bali paradise!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Amrita. There were 8 of us - three couples and two 9 month old babies. Jon has really created a paradise there in Keliki (15min drive out of Ubud) and the attention to detail, immaculate gardens and design certainly wasn't missed by our group. It was a stretch of the budget for us when we decided to book the villa but we had no regrets! Especially with the exceptional company of Sudana, Ayu (two remarkably wonderful people who looked after us) the generous breakfasts, and added bonuses like babysitting, organising of drivers and great value meals cooked for us. Personally it was a wonderful space for peacefulness and reflection, we took some lovely walks and I took advantage of the yoga mats supplied too - the balcony is the perfect place for yoga. Many thanks to Jon and his team, we would certainly recommend Villa Amrita!

A perfect getaway

I was a half of one of the 3 couples who rented Villa Amrita for 1 week. It was absolutely perfect for us. Our ages range from early 50s to early 60s - we each had a very comfortable one room suite (really comfortable beds); there was also shared common area, dining area and kitchen. The infinity swimming pool was brilliant, as were the general surrounds. The best part though were the staff. They were a delight to interact with; nothing was ever too much trouble, and they all went out of their way to make us feel at home, and ensure we had a pleasant stay. We all agreed that they were the best staff we have ever had the experience of dealing with.

Perfect

The villa is literally a heaven on earth ! Everything is gorgeous, from the bathroom, the bedroom, the pool, the surrounding, ... The staff was super helpful and welcoming, and the owner made all his best to make our stay perfect. I highly recommend this place as a resting place and as a good base to discover the region

Wonderful

We had a very relaxing stay at Villa Amrita. The whole staff is wonderful and extremely friendly. The owner Jon even took time out from his anniversary to coordinate with us and make sure everything worked smoothly. There is a plethora of amenities that rival your most luxuriest of hotels. Villa Amrita is as beautiful as the pictures with picturesque vistas down in to the valley below. My wife even had a chance to walk down to the river below and meet with some of the locals living in this quiet village. I am glad we had a chance to stay at Villa Amrita and look forward to another stay in the future.

Heaven on earth

Absolutely stunning villa, luxury accommodation for such a great price. Breakfast was amazing and views from bedrooms and pools were breathtaking. It was a shame we only had 3 nights in the villa as we were so rushed to explore Ubud we didn't get much time relaxing in the villa itself! Jon was so helpful and made the booking process really easy. All the staff were lovely and whenever you needed help they'd be there. Hope to come back next year!

Very disappointed

Villa Amrita was a disappointment for all of us , the whole time we were there the TV wasn't working ,something went wrong with the pool so the kids couldn't swim in it towards the end,my husband has a phobia for snakes and twice they were at the villa , me I got a phobia for spiders and I find a huge huntsman in my room,. The only good side to this villa is the staff they are amazing Ayu and Sudana were fantastic cant fault them. They villa itself is beautifully decorated but we wouldn't go back .

Thank you for your feedback. This is the first time in more than two years of business that we have received an unfavorable review. We agree that our staff is fantastic and are happy that you found Villa Amrita to be beautiful. We hope your family made many special memories during your stay. We always do our best to make sure every guest has a wonderful experience, but sometimes things don’t go perfectly. Regarding the TV, it was not easy to sort out the problem but we determined that our new 2.4ghz Wi-Fi router was too closely positioned to the TV and was interrupting the signal. We regret that on your final vacation day we experienced a problem with our beautiful swimming pool. Villa Amrita tries to minimize the use of harsh chlorine in our pool by using an Ultraviolet Light purification system. Very rarely, the fresh, warm water can go from crystal clear to having algae in a matter of hours if the system is not perfectly calibrated. The following morning we completely replaced 100% of the pool water and the system is back in perfect shape (I have posted pics of it on Facebook). We offered a 10% discount on your bill to try to compensate for this inconvenience. Incidentally, I stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta last night. This morning I went for a swim in their outdoor pool only to discover that it was full of green algae and closed. Even the 5-star international hotel chains sometimes have problems with the swimming pools... Finally, Villa Amrita is located in a natural, rural environment on a hillside with active rice terraces and is surrounded by forests. We choose not to use pesticides because these chemicals upset the natural balance and kill bees, butterflies, birds, spiders, frogs and geckos as well. For people with such phobias, a regular hotel is probably the safest way to avoid encounters with nature.
