Owner is very nice, villa is very nice, great open space, serves delicious breakfast. Gives you amazing Bali feeling with a lot of wood carvings and interior. He has scooters for rent and he took us to best places and showed us a lot. Helped us to order food when we wanted order food in the house. Always fast respond on our messages even at 2 am was ready to help us. :) Very recommend to stay in this villa.

Nous avons été très chaleureusement pas notre hôte Balinais Agung Rai qui est d’une gentillesse incontestable. Toujours à l'écoute et très disponible, il a permis que notre séjour soit des plus agréables. La villa est située dans un petit quartier où il n’y a que très peu de touristes, loin de la masse touristique de Ubud. Le petit déjeuner était correcte et préparé fraîchement chaque matin. Allez-y, vous ne serez pas déçu !!!

Agung was a fantastic host and his villa had everything we needed. It was spacious and clean and our kids loved playing in the pool. The cooked breakfast each day was such a treat too. Agung also took us on several trips, one to the north of the island (Lovina) which was tailored specifically to the needs of our family. He also collected us and dropped us at the airports with great efficiency and took us for a day trip at Waterbom in Kuta. We had some difficulty sorting out our Indonesian sim cards and he went above and beyond driving us around and translating when required. He also took us on a lovely walking tour of his village, including his family home and helped our children to fly their kite. A really lovely place to stay out of the chaos of Ubud centre.

Agung is a very kind, helpful man. However, before we arrived in Ubud, he assured me that every room in his villa is airconditioned. We booked and paid for 22 days there. Upon arrival, we learned that the main living area - the lounge - where the best wifi signal is, is NOT air conditioned. It is open air - there are no doors. You can close off the doors and windows to the hall and bedrooms, but the air conditioner in those rooms is not sufficient to keep it cool. We rented a Villa, not a single bedroom, and could not stay there in 40C degrees for 22 days when we needed good computer access. We were unable to stay in an un-airconditioned main living area and departed on Day 1. TripAdvisor's payment protection can take up to 4 weeks to consider a dispute (the owner still claims that the 2 bedrooom units constitute "all rooms are air conditioned") and we may lose our entire payment in full.

I will come back again n recommend to anyone who is a little unsure about travelling in bali as the host Agung Rai is amazing n so so helpful! The trip was our family's first time to Bali, two adults and two teenage girls. Agung Rai speaks English very well and is happy to talk about everything from local customs to best places to eat. He recommended our adventure tour companies after we arrived which works out cheaper then paying ahead in Australia. Every company he recommend was animal friendly, great tour guides who spoke good English and provided simple but nice lunches. We were worried about everything you hear with bad elephant companies but the one Agung Rai took us too was great with the elephants. He has two scooters you can hire off him including helmets, this made it easier as you hear about people being made to pay for previous damage to the bikes they hire. His bikes are damage free, work well n same price as other places. We even got lost our first time our on them n after riding around ubud we called him and he was happy to come to us in his scooter so we could follow home :-) :-) hahaha This villa listing is very accurate and shows exactly what you get :-) it is really well kept and on a quiet street five min ride or drive to ubud city main st and monkey forest. The pool is quite large for a personal pool, with the outdoor shower making it fun and perfect to use without making a mess in the house, the outdoor shower is cool to use at night too as it is connected to the downstairs twin bed room. The villa is "room serviced" or villa serviced daily making your beds n general cleaning. Agung rai n a family member come n make breakfast to order each morning. Simple menu which choices but taste amazing n leaves you full every time. We even got Bali belly one day out of the six we stayed as we tried street food which didn't quite agree (took our chances we knew lol) and Agung Rai checked on us and helped in anyway he could. (we brought antibiotics, painkillers, anti nausea and gastro stop with us from Australia but all is available from pharmacy there) As a few reviews have said there are roosters going off at all early hrs but he even supplies ear plugs lol. Didn't bother myself but my partner did use them occasionally. Again I can't recommend enough, Agung can help you with everything from pickup/ drop off at airport or another hotel to anything else you could need, and he doesn't charge much extra either! Great tidy villa with the best host n service I have ever had in the world. Thanks Agung Rai for all your help and fantastic experience.

Mit tollen Frühstück und freundlichen Gastgeber .. 15-20 Minuten mit Auto von Ubut Zentrum ..inklusive freie fährt ins Zentrum ..die Hähne krähen deine Freude in den Wind .. und neben einheimische Markt gibt dir Frische exotische Früchte günstig zu bekommen .. Hilfsbereitschaft von Gastgeber und Betreuung für Ausflüge .. Nimmt dir die sorgen weg und hilft mobil zu bleiben .. War sehr schöne zeit ..

Upon our arrival we were greeted by Agung and Ayu and that put you immediately at ease. Every morning delicious breakfast prepared by them. The Villa is fully compliant to the announcement, 5 minutes by scooter from the center of Ubud and the advantage of being in a quiet dead end in the country. The rooms are spacious and well maintained villa. Towels, sheets and shower products are provided, you have to put your bags and enjoy the pool sufficient for 4 with two teenagers. Agung is very attentive and always ready to learn about the activities around the villa or driving you on the many wonderful sights of Bali. We learned a lot about life, culture and history of Bali through Agung. Discreet and always at your service, Ayu, Agung and his wife make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Our first time to visit Indonesia. The villa was very nice and clean. Everything you need is there and Aging Rai is a very helpfull host. An excellent driver and guide who joined us during our visits. He has a good knowledge for places to see and together with his sister in law preparing very nice breakfast. The villa is 25 minutes walk from the center of Ubud, but Agung is allways willing to bring you there. Waking up with the sounds of the country side is lovely. I would absolutely recommend this villa!!!

Nous avons passé 4 jours très agréables dans la Villa Kassili. La villa est très confortable (exactement comme sur les photos) et ce qui nous laissera un souvenir inoubliable de cet hébergement est la gentillesse et la disponibilité d'Agung Rai. Il nous a véhiculé dans le centre d'Ubud a chaque fois que nous le souhaitions. De plus il nous a emmené en excursion vers le Mont Batur en passant par le temples de Gunung Kawi et Tira Empul. A chaque visite ses explications sur l'hindouisme et la vie Balinaise nous permettait de mieux comprendre la spiritualité et l'équilibre qui font le charme de cette île. Nous avons pu grâce à lui pénétrer dans un temple pendant une cérémonie lors d'un trajet vers Jatiluwih. Lors d'une visite d'une plantation de café il nous a montré les épices que nous n'aurions jamais reconnues sans lui. C'est également un conducteur très prudent et nous nous sommes toujours sentis en sécurité dans sa voiture, alors que les routes peuvent être étroites et chaotiques. Enfin le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux . N'hésitez pas à réserver si vous voulez vraiment approcher la culture Balinaise.

We had an amazing time at Villa Kasili, it is a piece of paradise just a short drive from Ubud. The teens hiked Mt Batir (2 am start) which Agung organised for us. Breakfast each morning, tours & tips. Highly recommended we would come again.
