Hidden gem in Ubud
My family and I had an amazing time from beginning to end, we got to the villa late at night but still had welcoming drinks and the smiles of the lovely staffs who made all our requests possible many thanks to Wayan who made everything possible for us to feel happy and comfortable. My wife was beyond pleased with her floating breakfast which she requested the night before, but the chef always made our breakfast special and specially our floating breakfast that was so special to her. We had a lovely two bedroom private villa with our own private pool and small kitchen for tea or coffee and fully equipped incase we wanted to prepare any meal which we didn’t. The house keepers always had our bedrooms nice and welcoming for when we returned from our excursions. We did not booked any excursions in advance but my wife already knew the places she wanted to visit and the things she wanted to explore, Wayan suggested the villa driver who we are so glad we had as our driver, he listened to my wife’s requests and made each day with the itinerary perfect to fit in a couple of days and making sure we visited all the best places in Ubud my family and I are super grateful and happy to had Dewa as our driver, we felt safe and enjoyed every place we visited. The villa felt safe with the security. Overall I most say the villa was worth every penny, we’ll definitely be back to Ubud and for sure Villa Kelusa will be out place to stay.

Secluded, beautiful villa with friendly staff
Villa Kelusa was exactly what we were looking for. It's tucked away, surrounded by lush forests and rice patties as far as the eye can see. Wayan and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and bent over backwards to ensure we were well looked after -- they found out my little brother likes dried mango and so went and found a dehydrator so he had some fresh with breakfast every morning. We look Wayan up on his offer to explore the neighborhood by bike and it was really humbling to see all these people so hard at work, with smiles plastered on their faces the whole while (Wayan called it the "village smile"). The place is 4 bedrooms, however one of the rooms is rather small, especially compared to the extravagant open-plan one with a bath tub.. so you might have to fight over that. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I'd recommend it to anyone I know.

BLISS in BALI
It was my 60th Birthday and I had searched for somewhere to take my 4 grown children for a relaxing break from the business of life. From our first contact, Villa Kelusa was reassuring and attentive to all our booking needs. On our arrival we were met by incredibly kind and attentive staff, as we walked through the gates we knew we had found a wonderful gem hidden amongst the rice fields. We had found our slice of paradise!! Even better than what the photos described.
The surprise of having such great staff on-site was fantastic. I was wondering prior to our arrival as to how staffing at the Villa was going to work- everything was above what I could have asked for. We were so impressed with all the staff that by the end of our visit we felt like were saying goodbye to family. Every member of staff from the cooks to the gardeners went above and beyond their call of duty. They were attentive to not only our needs but helped us plan what we should do each day. Wayun, the concierge, is absolutely brilliant and worth his weight in Gold! We so look forward to getting back here in the near future! Thankyou Villa Kelusa - we loved our stay!

The most perfect wedding location
We got married and stayed for a few days. Everything was perfect. The rooms, the staff, the lawns and other communal areas. I have zero bad things to say, it was just perfect.

Home away from home in Ubud
Great resort - high quality materials reminded me of an Aman. They keep the grounds immaculate. The villas overlook a lush valley. The staff have been here for years and will look you after very well. Plus for animal lovers - there is a dog and cat on the grounds!
We had a Balinese dinner here one night and the food from the cook (who lives in the village nearby) was excellent.
Ubud is about a 10 minute drive away. So shopping and food is nearby. We didn’t want to leave the villa while we were there though!

Beyond Amazing
Nothing short of spectacular! The views were so amazing and breathtaking. 7 of us stayed at Villa Kelusa the bedrooms spacious and gorgeous. We felt welcomed and right at home. The staff prepared breakfast every morning which was included in the price, the food was so delicious. Now lets talk about Wayan and his team!!! No request was too much Wayan was extremely accommodating every need was met every want was was given it was all handled and with a Smile and great willingness. Bali has many beautiful villas but i dont think i can bring myself to stay anywhere other than Villa Kelusa! One note whatever vision you have of this villa times that but 10 because no picture will ever do it justice. Villa Kelusa exceeded my expectations tremendously!

Honestly Amazing!!
We booked our stay at this villa after seeing the amazing pictures online and I must say the pictures don’t do the villa justice. It is a breathtaking villa.
The villa, located in a traditional village (not too touristy) gave a true sense of being in authentic Ubud. It accommodated my large group of 8, with 2 separate villas, 2 pools and exceptional views.
The staff were so welcoming and on arrival gave us all tamarind juice followed by a tour of the property.
We had breakfast included which was always delicious! And a few nights there we requested for the chef to prepare dinner, which was probably one of the best meals we had in Bali.
Wayan was extremely accommodating of all our requests and went above and beyond to translate and confirm many activities my group wanted to do.
I would recommend this villa to everyone and would stay here again!

Majestic vacation
Staying at Villa Kelusa was absolutely majical. With high expectations. This place did not disappoint. With breath taking views of the Forrest and rice fields. This place will take your breath away. Wayan was more than helpful he treated us like royalty. The staff was unbelievably amazing. The cooked meals where like eating from a Michelin star reviewed restaurant.

Absolutely amazing!
I went on a group holiday if 8, in which the staff made us feel comfortable instantly with welcome drinks on our arrival and a in depth tour of the villa. The location is prime if you are looking for a non-touristy, nature filled luxury accommodation in the heart of an authentic Ubud village. Our booking included one free transfer a day (to and from) the villa into Ubud, which was about a 15-20min drive. The chefs made food which in my opinion, was better than the a lot of the food in town that costs 3x more. Wayan was extremely accommodating of all our requests and went above and beyond to translate, research and confirm many activities my group wanted to do. The rooms were clean and extremely comfortable, and two of the rooms have solely outdoor showers, which is something to note. I honestly can not fault this villa and will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location and fantastic staff
Villa Kelusa exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 6 company directors who spent 3 days 2 nights at Villa Kelusa looking for some relaxation and bonding time and had several meetings scheduled in between. The villa was luxurious and spacious with amazing views.
Early morning walks through the padi fields is one of our highlights. Wayan took us on a bicycle tour and we cycled 17km through some challenging terrain enjoying the local villages .
The chef cooked the best local dishes. We had most of our meals at the villa because the food was absolutely delicious. Better than the restaurants we experienced in Ubud town.
Definitely recommend Villa Kelusa whether for a family holiday or a group vacation.
