Byli jsme zde 14 dní v lednu a v únoru 2024. Veliká spokojenost. Majitelé byli velice vstřícní. Se vším poradili. Ubytování bylo v blízkosti centra i pláže. Ubytování má i svůj bazén.

Charming local villa with very friendly owners
We are a couple with a 4 yo. We stayed here for 1 week in October. We enjoyed this local villa.
* Traditional style, we experienced a local place
* 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lots of space in the living room, large kitchen equipped with everything. All was clean. The beds were comfortable. The pictures on booking were accurate. It is not a modern house with modern furniture, but a traditional house. All was functional and comfortable.
* I struggled with setting the right water temperature on the shower. Unless you are in a hotel, that's the water system in Mauritius. I talked to the owner. His brother came and showed us how to use it. Don't hesitate to contact the owner, He will help you.
* The pool was clean. The water was warm enough in October to enjoy it every morning. There are 2 villas that share the pool. We were lucky that the other one was empty. We got the pool for ourselves.
* The garden was beautiful. We got to see beautiful birds and flowers.
* The location was good. Walking distance to the Fliq en Flac beach, to the Jumbo supermarket and the local restaurants. Although there was no pedestrian zone around, we felt safe. Not many cars.We used the light on our phone to signal that we were around.
* The owner is extremely friendly. He kept the communication open all the time. He answered to all our questions. What we particularly appreciate the most is his and his brother flexibility. Normally check-in is everywhere in the afternoon. Our plane landed at 6 am. I asked if we can have an early check-in. He agreed.
Overall we were had a wonderful stay.

Super emplacement : vacances magiques
Faroz avant votre arrivée est déjà aux petits soins avec vous grâce aux échanges de mail. une vraie hôte digne de ce nom.
Ashlam son frère qui nous a accueilli est un amour. très gentil et disponible si vous avez besoin.
l’emplacement est parfait à flic en flac et la literie très confortable.
la villa est très agréable. nous étions deux adultes et un enfant et c était parfait pour nous.
nous reviendrons sans hésitation chez Faroz avec grand plaisir. nous avons passé des vacances exceptionnelles. merci encore à vous deux pour votre gentillesse si naturelle.

tres bon emplacement a flic en flac a proximité de la plage et des commerces.
l accueil des proprietaires et leur disponibilité ont enchanté notre sejour
tres a l ecoute , reactif et disponible atout moment.
la piscine , le barbecue , la terrasse et le logement nous ont permis de passer d agreables vacances

Perfect villa and hospitality
Two houses are located on one site with small swimming pool. All was great especially attitude of owner’s family Reza and Faroz. Location is handy - not far from the beach and shop.

Definitely recommended accommodation in Flic en Flac
This is the local family owned accommodation facility (private house) close to Flic en Flac beach. It is equipped with everything you need for cozy stay. In our house we had two air-conditioned sleeping rooms, one big living room with rather big integrated kitchen. One bathroom with shower and toilet and one additional toilet. They have safe, laundry machine, ironing possibility,beach towels for use, additional bed linen if you need. So, as said, really all you need for convenience of family of four people. Wi-fi was running nicely all the time without any interruption. Even more, they have a quite big selection of TV channels which we really enjoyed when it was rainy outside because there is something for everyone- sport, news, cartoons etc. In the backyard there is also nice pool which is just as deep which is secure also for our children - 11 and 13. There are also some beach chairs and nice large sunshade by the pool.
It gets even better really. Because as said also in other reviews: shops, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, medical consultation cabinet, taxi stand, tour operators, currency exchange, ATM and uppermost importance - Flic en Flac beach - are all really close and easily accessible by foot. This is convenient and has left very good overall experience of staying in villa.
Perhaps as a litte bonus for people who like bird watching :-) nature itself offers possibility to see several different ones in Villa's backyard and try to recognize them. Wait for bright red Madagascar Cardinal, real beauty!
And now about most important thing. I must admit that I have never experienced such kind of hospitality and care which was offered by Faroz, Reza and other family members. Security is what you need while travelling with kids. As our vacation was forcefully extended by one day due to level 3 tropical cyclone called CALVINIA when airport was shut down we found quick solution for extended stay in villa. As we from north have never experienced tropical storm it was - to be honest - quite terrifying at some point. But as we had possibility to stay in close touch with hosting family and were well informed about the situation it was much easier and peaceful sleep in villa for this one additional night. We were also kindly helped with transfer to airport after the storm. On top of that we were kindly and quickly advised about all local circumstances we requested. Up to smallest things like in which bus stop to exit the bus in Port Louis :-).
As a final word. Even if one could be a bit picky about few minor things here and there (like taped shower device) for us this means absolutely NOTHING compared to convenience offered and most importantly - humanity, hospitality and security offered to us. Definitely 5 points rating.

Lovely Villa with easy access to all activities
An ideal location of the Villa. Close walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The owners were so friendly and helpful. Had a nice outdoor pool. Had a great two weeks stay there.

Super hosts and good location and accomodation but needs bit modernisation.
We stayed at two-bed villa between 2nd to 12 Aug.
First of all hosts Faroz & Reza are fabulous and super friendly, on the first day our baggage got delayed until late at night, Reza helped the airline to get the bags delivered to us at night plus next day Reza showed us around the area and help us get a local SIM card. He can help sort out car rental plus excursions. Faroz supports your needs remotely so both work well as a team.
The villa is about 10min walk to the beach, easy walk but at night you have to be careful of vehicles as there are no footpaths around dimly lit back streets. There are two villas on the property with swimming pool at the back. The road at the front of the property does get noisy at times with vehicles since two bedroom villa is at the front of the property next to the road.
When we booked the villa we were under the impression that the swimming pool was right next to the villa, however it is at the back next to a second larger villa. So if you have small kids it is bit awkward to walk up to the swimming pool around from the other villa.
The villa we stayed in was two bed villa, accommodation was clean but needs some fixtures such as extractor fan for the kitchen and bathroom, shower had very low pressure plus temperature control did not work too well so made it bit of a work to get showered! Second toilet had sink tap with no water due to incorrect plumbing according to Reza that he will get it fixed.
Also the villa could do with having window insect screens to allow them to be left open at night, this would help stopping insect and bugs sharing your bed at night!
Overall this villa is a short from being a luxury villa due to kitchen and bathrooms needing modernisation when compared to larger villa next door.
Rating for hosts is 5* but accommodation is more like 3*.

Thank you for the review and remarks made. Some of your comments have been actioned already. It is not practical to fit window insect screens on the windows due to the design. However, both bedrooms are fitted with modern AC units that have “sleep mode” functions. These allow guests to have a good and comfortable night sleep without the need to have the windows openned. In addition, we provide all our guests with mosquito repellant apparatus and cartridges which are very helpful. It is a tropical island after all!
Both villas are different from each other and individually designed to cater for our guests needs and more importantly their budgets. The level of comfort and luxury are reflected in their prices.
We hope you and your family have nevertheless enjoyed your stay with us and had a great holiday in Mauritius. We have certainly enjoyed hosting you and hope to have the pleasure to welcome you and your family again, this time hopefully in the bigger and more luxurious villa (budget permitting of course)

Una bellissima villa, a pochi minuti dalla bellissima spiaggia di Flic en Flac. Tutti gli spazi sono molto ampi e tutto è molto comodo. Un ringraziamento particolare ai proprietari e specialmente a Reza (parla 5 lingue tra cui l'italiano) che ci ha assistito in tutto, organizzando e consigliando, senza essere mai invadente. Consiglio a tutti questa bella villa!
