What More Could You Want?
Words can not fully express my stay at Punto de Vista! From the moment you arrive at the property, it is evident the care that was taken in each and every detail. From the gorgeous iron gate and mosaic tile work at the entrance to the greeting and special service received from the staff. It is clear that special thought is taken to ensure your stay exceeds all expectations. Some of my favorite aspects: the amazing floor in the living room; the shower in the room. How awesome is it to take a shower in an open room? A glass room on three sides that provides an amazing view of the ocean & jungle; Raw Botanical organic bath products, which I completely fell in love with. Talk about upscale!; The bed was adjustable so we could lie in bed and enjoy the view; The villa was created with a ship/nauticaul theme, so the illusion is being on a ship heading out to sea. When you realize that and make your way through the villa, it is an amazing thing all on its own; the rooftop jacuzzi. The pictures say it all. Love is in the details, from the sensual shower seats to the amenities (massage oil). I would highly recommend Punto de Vista for honeymooners, destination weddings or anniversary trips. As a 17 year wedding planning veteran I was so highly impressed by the setup for events. Again, the details were so obviously given careful thought. Groups of all sizes can be accommodated. There is even a gourmet kitchen and multiple levels to accommodate a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception on different levels! This is the type of property I would hold my own wedding at without doubt. Such a romantic location and many memories to be had. We enjoyed walking down to the beach and to and from Manuel antonio, listening to the wildlife and simply enjoying all the villa had to offer. Again, words can not fully describe our stay, nor is there enough space. Loved, loved, loved Punto de Vista! I'm still having dreams about it and can't wait to go back. Destination wedding anyone?

Wow! An architectural masterpiece I will never forget!
Punto de Vista is an inspiring building that thrusts from the hillside immersing you into the canopy of the jungle. Each space throughout this multi-level villa appears carefully designed to capture a unique Costa Rican moment. I enjoyed the tranquility of an afternoon nap taken on my bedroom deck. Later that evening I attended a concert on the event deck performed by an incredible Costa Rican blues band. Two very different experiences in the same villa. While on a walk down to the beach a monkey family made their way across a taut rope above glancing down at me with curiosity. Being an avid body-surfer, the waves at Manuel antonio State Park did not disappoint. The water was a perfect temperature and the beaches were flat; perfect for frisbee throwing, skim-boarding and the occasional horseback rider. Swimming in the infinity edge pool back at the villa was very therapuetic after the beach and the Costa Rican breakfast, including gallo pinto, platains and freshly squeezed juice really hit the spot. I can't wait to come back and bring my family. There is so much to explore in CR. Did I mention that the villa owner's organized a day trip where I climbed a waterfall, zip-lined through the jungle and performed what the guide called the"monkey-plunge". Too much fun. Flew back to San Jose then back to the desert with many fond memories.

Beautiful villa with some of the best views in the region. This is an architectural treasure and as much a work of art as a villa. There aren't many vacation spots like this in the world, much less in Costa Rica.

We fell in Love with the Villa Experience!!!
More than a luxury villa, more than an exquisite sight, Punto de Vista exceeded our expectations in every single sense...Among my favorite moments: The look of happiness of all the faces of my family, an 18 person party, while enjoying amazing gourmet breakfasts under the stunning cane dining terrace! Every morning, the well-polished service staff prepared for us a variety of Costa Rican tropical delicacies and on top of that, the best mimosas I have ever had in my life...
Grandma was delighted by everything! She loved the comfort of the unique bathroom design and the open views leading to the pristine beach of the Manuel antonio National Park. I sincerely have to congratulate the architect for his marvelous inspiration...every suite, it's a dream, and the building in-itself surprises and motivates your ideas and thoughts!
Punto de Vista is a very special paradise that I highly recommend where families can share the green beauty of nature, the spectacular art of design and the exclusivity that really makes you fall in love with the Villa experience.

Heaven on Earth - Breathtaking Views, Architecture, Service
All I can say is: wow! This place is Heaven on Earth -- breathtaking views, architecture, and service.
A ten-bedroom, twelve-bathroom, nauticaly-themed, six-story affair, Punto de Vista (www.puntodevistacr.com) is a simply breathtaking piece of design work, inspired owner/architest David Konwiser says by the Madonna Inn in Pismo Beach, Ca. Each room is loosely thematized, exquisitely rendered, with virtually every square foot offering unbelievable vistas of the ocean and more than one-acre of rainforest. Service - much of it personally rendered by Raul, a genuine, affable butler - is impeccable. Raul and Konwiser prepared a delicious dinner for us that evening on the open air, top deck of Punta de Vista. The food was delicious, and the 120-inch, Digital HD screening set-up -- under the stars no less! -- made for a lovely viewing of "Singin' in the Rain," one of our favorite films.
Three of our room's walls were all glass, which made the evening's knuckle-whitening thunderstorm all the more spectacular.
The following day, Konwiser arranged a day of adventuring: surf lessons, an aTV tour of the rainforests, and an expertly guided tour of Manuel antonio State Park.
We returned to the top deck of Punta de Vista where Konwiser and Tropical Occasions surprised us with a vow renewal ceremony overlooking the ocean. Sublime!
Honeymoons, family reunions, business getaways, film shoots, whatever you need... I cannot recommend Punto de Vista strongly enough!

Spot On - Punto de Vista
Punto de Vista is the perfect place to relax and have a good time. The views of Manuel antonio National Park and beach are impressive from every spot of the villa. Especially at the top of the building where you can sit and enjoy perfect food combined with excellent drinks and service.
Sunsets are inspiring and simply re-affirm that you are in the right place. The architecture of the building is unique and makes the surrounding green blend in with great harmony.
In review, it's a place that will definitely take your breath away.

Exquisite Wedding Location with a Stunning Point of View
When we arrived at Punto de Vista (PDV), we were warmly welcomed by David (the owner and architect) and the gracious PDV family. They made us feel at home as soon as we set foot on the property. Not only was the finished villa breathtaking, but all our needs and requests were attended to, including those of my 75-year-old grandma. When I tried to find the Midori mixer for my husband's favorite drink at the reception, we exhausted all avenues to no avail. In the course of conversations, David overheard our dilemma and the next morning, the bar was stocked with Midori. David's mom hired a mariachi band to serenade us at our welcome dinner. On our wedding day, my day started with an in-room massage followed by a wonderful breakfast for my wedding party on the deck. The aura of the morning was perfect, with the ocean view on one side, treetops on the other and the monkeys playing below. As our guests arrived, they were awe-struck by the floating bamboo boats, the lights from inside and the sound of the live band inside set the mood for the evening's reception. The dinner was held on the roof. The view was nothing short of exceptional and kept our guests oohing and awing. We truly wanted to give our guests a magical and memorable experience and at this moment we knew this is exactly what was happening. Our dance was held on the ground floor and our guests loved the live band and DJ mix and enjoyed dancing the night away inside or rolling up their pant legs to sit and chat along the pool deck. The exterior lights reflected off the surrounding trees and kept the romantic mood throughout the property. The next morning, our guests returned for a brunch that was held in the open air dining area, where our guests continue to rave about the wonderful time they had. Everyone at Punto de Vista exceeded every expectation that we could have had. The attention to detail was unsurpassed. We arrived as strangers and left with new friends and that, to us, was the icing on the cake.

A magical place...
Punto de Vista is a magical place, it is all one can ask for and more! To start it is located in Manuel antonio, one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. The villa has spectacular views straight out of paradise! From the top floor Jacuzzi, you oversee the Manuel antonio National Park and its breathtaking panorama of the bay and it's many islands.
At Punto de Vista, you get the perfect balance between, nature, luxury, gourmet food and amazing architecture. Being able to wake up in a luxurious suite, with an amazing design and in front of the beautiful Pacific Ocean is priceless. Here, you are able to relax, enjoy nature, and have a great time! We had an amazing time at Punto de Vista, and we really hope to come back soon!

Amazing destination wedding experience!!!
We decided to have our wedding at Punto de Vista after researching many locations and options and I cannot express how thrilled we are about this decision.
Both our stay at the villa and our wedding celebrations far exceeded our expectations and made for one happy bride and groom. Our families who also stayed at the villa are all trying to figure out when and how to get back there for our/their next visits.
This is the ideal place if you are looking to have a warm, classy, beautiful, intimate family celebration. The views and accommodations are spectacular. Though we were in the same house, we all (19 of us with kids) had plenty of space and privacy, which was very important to us.
The staff took amazing care of us, made delicious breakfasts every day, and we all wanted to take the "butler" Oliver home with us!!! Dave, the owner, was also so great to work with and helped to make our experience everything we wanted. He even went out of his way to borrow a guitar for us to use in our wedding and during our visit. This attention to detail at every level was the icing on the cake and made the wedding exactly what we wanted. As one of our guests said, "this was the swankiest destination wedding I have ever been too," and he is a fancy guy!
We all absolutely loved Punto de Vista and the villa will forever hold a very special place in our families' hearts and minds.

This house delivers on EVERY level.
My fiancé and I wanted to have a destination wedding. After researching, we found Manuel Antonio to be the most beautiful, easy to get to, great restaurants, attractions, basically all the essentials to host an incredible wedding experience for our family and friends. We toured through several houses and hotels a year prior to our ceremony. We saw the photos online of Punto de Vista, which was still under construction at the time. We met David, the architect and owner and he gave us a tour. I have a great appreciation of architecture and this was one the most impressive contemporary houses I have ever seen. Every room is unique and serves a specific function. If you get married here, you will understand. The views are incredible...the best surf spot in Manuel Antonio is at the end of the road.
So let's summarize: an incredible house, incredible views, great town with TONs of activities for your 70 year old grandmother or your 20 year old adrenaline junkie nephew. So that leaves the staff. Your butler, Oliver, is second to none I've met at any 5 star hotel. If you have a request for anything from setting reservations, calling taxis, adjusting appointments or any special request, his response is "done". And it is...the security guards, equally as impressive. Initially, I thought it was strange that a house rental had someone there...but trust me, in every way it made our experience so much better...he wanted us to have fun and to USE THE HOUSE. That would be my suggestion as well...you will not be disappointed. My fiancé and I will have the photos of our wedding for the rest of our lives’ to look at. The house, as the platform will only add to our great memories.
