Warnung: Kein Karaoke und vermutlich auch kein Fön! ;)
Abgesehen davon aber ein toller Platz zum verweilen und ein guter Start zu diversen Touren. Die Mitarbeiter kümmern sich liebevoll und freundlich um alles. Das „Family Dinner“ ist vielleicht nicht so traditionell wie wir es erwartet hätten, aber das Essen ist prima, die Runde gesellig und der hausgemachte Reiswein (Pflaume oder Apfel) tut sein Übriges...

Perfect Break
We spent 3 nights here as a group of six last summer. The homestay is right in the middle of the countryside and is beautiful! There is even a balcony area to look at the view from. The owner is so friendly, and the family meal cooked every evening is delicious. It's also close to shops and restaurants/bars if you want to explore. The beds and bathroom are basic but comfortable and clean. We were even lucky enough to have a group of puppies at the homestay when we were there! I would stay here again if I returned to the Sapa area.

Great
Me and my friends stayed two nights in Hoang Kim Homestay in order to trek in the moutain. Two of us slept on a private bedroom which was clean, confortable and calm, while the other stayed in the dormitory upstairs. We liked staying there because of the fabulous view, the kindness of the owners and the calm. « Family diner » was very good too. In conclusion : cheap and great

Awesome view and Homestay
Thank you so much for these last few days! My friend and me had a really great time with all of you!
The rooms and bathrooms are clean, food is amazing! (Especially the family dinner)
The whole atmosphere is just amazing and Mrs Kim tries to make you as comfortable as possible.
Would recommend anybody to stay here! :)

Perfect stay
We stayed here for two nights on our trip to Sapa, and had been recommended to stay down in one of the villages rather than in sapa itself.
When getting a taxi from sapa we ended up being dropped nowhere near the homestay so ensure your taxi knows exactly where you are going or get them to ring the homestay to confirm!!!!! We ended up having to walk about 40 mins trying to find the place after being dumped somewhere random!
The place itself was in a beautiful location, couldn't want much more!!!! We stayed in the dorms which were basic, but the bed was comfortable enough, just beware can get very very cold here so try bring some warm clothes if you have them! (Although I believe the private rooms have electric blankets)
Food and drinks were available on request at a good price, they also did a family dinner every night which was very nice and good way to socialise! We met lots of nice other travellers here!
One lady working at the homestay, cannot remember her name but she often wore a green jacket, she was super friendly and helpful, helped us booking our buses and taxis etc.
They can also book treks etc for you, we aren't the biggest Trekkers so we decided to just do one ourselves which is pretty easy to do if you want to save money and do a less strenuous trek.
Would defo recommend staying here :)

Ein muss, wenn man in Sapa ist!
Wir haben hier 2 Nächte geschlafen. Und es war super.
Mrs. Kim und ihre Familie war super gastfreundlich und ha die gute Seele hat uns bei allen Sprachbarrieren geholfen.
Auch ist das Family Dinner mehr als zu empfehlen, besser haben wir nirgends in Vietnam gegessen!
Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen!

So beautiful!!
6 of us stayed here over two nights in Sapa and had the most wonderful time!!! The accomodation you receive is very basic but that just adds to the charm. The view from the homestay is breathtaking. Kim and her family were absolutely wonderful!! They speak very little English but Ha has perfect English and was so helpful for everything we wanted!
We booked a half day trek which was tiring but amazing. And then did a cooking class with the family where they taught us 6 local dishes, all delicious! We had such a wonderful time thank you so much Kim and family!!!

Laptop disappeared! Do not stay here! THIEVES
This homestay was booked through our guide Shosho Laochai.
I left the laptop near the TV after a grueling 6 hours of trekking, extremely tired. Upon discovering the computer was not in my bag, I immediate contacted my guide.
She supposedly contacted the homestay who denied seeing the computer even though the owner watched us like a hawk, every move we made, while we were there.
I can only assume that the homestay and Shosho sold the laptop.
Funny thing: it's a special brand requiring a special charger which is actually with me right now, so it's not useable!
I have escalated the problem and contacted the tourist police. Will add an update soon.

Great Experience
Great homestay with a charming location and warm welcome hosts. In this homestay, I and my friends experienced local culture and it was so interesting. We also had a trekking trip with an ethnic guide who had known this area like back of her hand. This homestay is in a quite and peaceful valley and it is really different from commercialization Sapa Town with a flux of tourists.
