Nice house , pool, views but overall felt a little let down
The house and swimming pool are nice enough , with stunning views to the med from the roof terrace, I would recommend a car as there isn’t really local amenities and Nerja is a fair hike away. The house could do with some TLC . Unfortunately we were without water for a day due to a pump failure, we called the plumber who promptly visited to replace it later that day . The Cleanliness of terrace floors and bbq was found to be left quite poor and this needs improvement in our view.. There is a Spanish neighbour guy behind the property at close proximity terrace level who was shouting loudly at us one evening, about what we don’t know but he was rather angry and upsetting the grand kids, resulting in our only limited use of the terrace during our stay, not what you really need on your holidays. The owner did inform us of this but only the day before our arrival so little option but to go with it by then. The TV is limited to 4 Spanish channels only , not 20+ free English channels is as stated in the house guide . The Wi-Fi details for Hauwei router is not correct and needs updating in book . The swimming has missing mosaic tiles in places and the pool water level dropped off but there isn’t instructions for filling. I topped it up after talking with John the plumber . There are four bed loungers , one was found to be broken, gapper tape has previously been used to repair. Perhaps new one needed. Seat covers are also aged and soiled and could do with replacements. If these things are improved I would rate the house higher but main issue is the shouting neighbour , not a nice experience.

Great apartment in a nice area
We had a lovely stay here for 16 nights. Prior to stay there were good coms with the owner. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need in a nice area. It is a longish walk into Nerja so we mainly used taxi's which were easy to call with my limited Spanish. We had a minor issue with pillows which we flagged to the property manager and it was fixed immediately.
The pool is fab for cooling down. Roof terrace lovely but it was so hot during our stay that we didn't use it other than a few evenings. The aircon works well in the bedrooms although one of our neighbours wasn't impressed by us actually using it.
There is a friendly local bar and a snack bar very close by and two excellent restaurants within a short walk. I would be very happy to live here all year round.
For anyone arriving late the name above the door is Casa Konovo not Casa Elena which is the name we expected. Difficult situation in the dark if not aware. We've advised the property managers who agree and will probably arrange a light a the key box.
We would rent here again.

A lovely peaceful place to stay!
We've just returned from a wonderful week at Case Elena. It took us a little while to find the villa but the instructions on how to get in the villa once there were clear. The pool is lovely..definitely a daily highlight for us and our kids! The villa itself was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is peaceful and quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed the outside space of the villa. We did get a taxi to and from Nerja a couple of times. We also visited Frigilana and the Alhambra Palace, both of which we can thoroughly recommend. We only visited one local bar, the Tropicana, which we wouldn't recommend. The food was awful and expensive. Thank you to the owners for the bottle of cava, and of course, for the fab week in your lovely villa!

There are a few local bars and our recommendation would be the Oasis bar by the Punta Lara pool. Just a short walk from the villa. Relaxed, good food and good service.

Excellent villa in a great location
We stayed in this villa for 10 nights in July 2019. This was our 6th visit to Nerja, which we love, and this was our best accommodation yet. Great villa with a lovely pool, which was a godsend in July due to the heat.Very clean and well equipped. Absolutely ideal for me, my wife, and our 21 year old daughter. A bit of a trek to the centre of Nerja which was a 30 minute walk along the promenade or along the main road, but we didn't mind that. On days when we didn't fancy walking we caught the local urban bus which stops quite regularly on the main road just opposite the Punta Lara urbanisation. The cost is 1 euro each (bargain). Best place for breakfast is Titos in our opinion, very welcoming and great food. Even ate there in the evening which was also good. Would definitely recommend this villa, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

A relaxing home from home
What a delightful home, peaceful and relaxing. We had a fabulous 10 night stay at Elena 10, enjoying the views, the pool and the Spanish way of living. Restaurants and bars are within a 5 minute walk of the house within Punta Lara and the centre of Nerja is just a 25-30 minute walk. The house is spotless, light and airy but also cozy for the 2 of us. Helena was quick to respond to our questions and we’ve just found the perfect place for us, so much so that we’ve already booked to return in September!

Excellent in all respects.
The location of the house is great with a terrific view from the hill across to the sea. We spent quite a bit of time around Burriana Beach , mainly because my wife is disabled and we found suitable spots to park. It was a very busy period and so was difficult to park near the old town.

Fabulous Villa for 4
Amazing villa with own private pool and sea views, very helpful owner Helena, arranging transfers, nothing was too much trouble. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was very much appreciated. Handy shop and cafe next to the beach just a 5 min walk away. Tropicana pub served lovely food too. Wifi brilliant. Thank you Helena for a great week, i would definitely recommend.

Very nice holiday
Fantasic apartment with a really nice pool. We have been to Punta Lara 7 times, but have never experienced such a clean apartment. It felt like home. Thank you for a fantastic 2,5 weeks.

Lovely peaceful villa
A lovely two bedroomed villa in the mountains with a fantastic pool. Perfect for a quiet family holiday. There are a few bars and restaurants in the local area and the town of Nerja is just a 30 minute walk. The villa had everything you need and our 5 year old son loved the swimming pool. We would love to visit again!
