14th Century Apartment which oozes character. With 4 cosy bedrooms and a huge living area . Ideal for a base to explore the surrounding areas .
However due to the historic nature of the building and its age it isnt really designed or very suitable for children with some steep stairs
Having lived in and around the surrounding areas for over 50 years I can give great advice on where to go and what to do and see depending on your requirements .

Quirky and charming
We stayed in Graham's tudorhouse above the fish'n'chip shop over Christmas and loved every minute.
Graham was there to welcome us even though we arrived early and he even put up a Christmas tree for us.
The house is wonky and old, as a 550 year old house should be and could probably tell a pretty tale of ye olden days.
Although situated above a fish'n'chip shop we were not bothered by noise or smell from below.
We recommend this place to anyone who are looking for an authentic and different kind of accommodation.
Thank you very much, Graham. We'll be back.

Perfect
We booked this at quite short notice and due to me having not booked via a website before, I made a couple of errors and needed to make changes - but Graham was fantastic in helping us sort everything out, with communication being swift. This continued through our stay. Graham is welcoming and really makes you feel at ease. He even gave us all free chips on our first night!
The apartment itself is beautiful and has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. The four bedrooms are spacious and the living area is big so you don’t feel as though you are on top of each other.
The location for us was perfect as well - 20 mins drive away from numerous launch locations on the River Wye, so if kayaking or canoeing is your thing, you’ll be hard pushed to find anywhere better.
Thanks Graham, we had a great time and will definitely be coming back

Great stay ...
We booked a family Christmas here for 8 of us ... it’s a lovely quirky apartment with low beams/ceilings and slopy/creaking floors - bags of character and perfectly located. Our host Graham was very attentive and could not have been more helpful ... he had even laid the table for Christmas lunch. We had a lovely Christmas tree in the lounge which was looking all very festive.
Whilst it’s a great place I would offer a word of warning about the low beams and steep stairs in case you visit with elderly relatives.
We had a great time and would definitely return.

Perfect for our trip
Amazingly positioned in the centre of town, great for a large party and interesting timber frame building! The owner was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.
We stayed for a wedding so it was a perfect meeting point for a large group. I'm quite tall so some of the low timbers were a little in the way but there are loads of helpful signs to stop you bumping your head! All good in all.

Excellent accommodation and host
Everything you need, very clean, comfy and Graham is an excellent host can't do enough for you. Highly recommended this gem of property.
