If you're looking to get away from it all in a well-appointed, relaxing mountain retreat, then this is perfect! We only had two nights here at the end of our stay in the Pyrenees, but it was a great way to end our trip. The gite is cosy and welcoming and has been brilliantly restored by the owner. The views are fantastic and the gite is right next to their small holding with ducks, chickens, pigs, cats all wandering around, not to mention the most gorgeous and friendly dog!
Unfortunately our French is pretty rusty and the owners don't speak English, but we had a couple of cheery conversations. Judith communicated very well before and during the booking, which was smooth.
The gite has a very comfortable lounge area and a nice big open plan kitchen and dining area with lots of cooking equipment. There were only 3 of us, but it would be a great place to stay with a larger group of friends. The bathroom is large and everything was very clean on arrival. Good wi-fi and satellite TV is there if you need it.
The gite is quite remote, but if you don't mind that I can thoroughly recommend it as a great mountain retreat.
