During the COVID 19 pandemic all travellers to Florida must comply with State and Lake County regulations, rules and recommendations.
Welcome to Sunshine Villa Florida! - Our villa is just 8 miles from Disney World and 40 minutes from Orlando International Airport. It has been privately owned by our family since 2004, and has 5 bedrooms, a large spacious living area, private screened pool and games room. There is off-road parking for two cars on the drive.
A guest described our villa: 'superb, on a quiet estate to get away from it all, but only one mile from the Highway 192 for everything you need.'
It is FULLY AIR CONDITIONED and fanned throughout (except the games room where there is a free-standing fan) and has constant hot water.

This is a family home in a family area, with children asleep despite you being on vacation.
The lead renter must be over 25 and the head or representative of a family group.
Single gender parties are not allowed.
Hen, stag, school break, or similar parties are not allowed.
Disturbance to our neighbours is not acceptable.
You must complete our Registration Form with details of ALL individuals in your party and only these people are permitted to stay in the house.

Nice but oh what neighbors
I will start with the good stuff. John Skipp was very professional and was very responsive. The home is located in a mixed subdivision (rentals and owners) and there were neighbor children that were fun to be around. The home was setup as described and most of the items were functional. Now the bad stuff. The neighbor to the left side had 2 dogs that barked ALL THE TIME. They also had friends who visited and parked on our property and thought it was funny when we came home and couldn't get in the driveway. The inside of the house is decorated with numerous signs that give the place the appearance of an institution. The oven was filthy with grease so thick we were afraid to use the self cleaning feature. The floors were vacumned only where they didn't need to move furniture. We don't live that way so when we moved the sofas we found the dirt from previous tenants.The bathrooms were dirty when we arrived. The pool heat quit at the start of the third week (pool heat is an extra $150/wk). We called the maintenance number but was told it was not important enough to send someone out. When they did send someone out 2 days later, he fixed nothing. I was looking for a place that we could rent for 3-4 weeks per year and comeback again and again. This is not it.

That was a very, very long time ago, with different neighbours and different cleaners.
This review is massively contradictory to our other many, many highly complimentary reviews (not visible on tripadvisor-sorry).
