Un lieu pleins de charme, une salle de bain partculierement paradisiaque, un accueil plus que chaleureux malgré notre arrivée tardive et une cuisine locale gourmande, et j'en passe.. ! Hasantha et Pradadi ont rendu ce lieu magique et accueillant, soucieux du bien être de leurs visiteurs. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce couple avec qui nous avons beaucoup echangé. On leur souhaite bonne continuation et nous n'hesiterons pas à revenir !

The villa is a blissful paradise set amongst a walled garden that is filled with exotic flowers, plants and English roses. You can relax on one of the bedroom verandas and soak in the beauty whilst listening to the melody of birds calling from outside the garden. The open air bathroom is the ultimate combination of nature and luxury. We definitely recommend having a candle-lit bath underneath the stars for an unforgettable romantic experience, Also food was the best we have ever had in Sri Lanka, Staff also organised a safari to the nearby national park, which was a fantastic experience. We highly recommend staying here for a luxury Sri Lankan retreat!

This is a really nice villa very close to the national park. The accommodation cannot be faulted, it is rural but very clean, spacious and well equipped. The bathroom is completely open, with no roof and it has warm water (not hot, but warm enough). The bedrooms are completely closed, spacious and the beds have new mosquito nets. The beds are comfortable but because it's in the wild, you will hear all kinds of nocturnal animals during the night, you don't get to sleep much if you are used to complete silence, but it's all part of the experience, so I didn't mind. The kitchen is partly closed, it's hard to explain, it's opened to the garden on one side and about 2/3rds have a roof, (I will upload a video on utube soon). Despite being in the middle of the countryside, I didn't see any mosquitoes because the owners have cinnamon oils burning to keep them away. The hosts provide meals on request, but bear in mind that the meals are cooked somewhere else and bought to your villa so they are only lukewarm by the time it gets to you, however the taste is good. The cost of breakfast is 5uds p/p and dinner 17usd per adult which is very expensive for Sri Lanka, probably, the most expensive meal we've had. If you don't want to spend that much, there's a kitchenette for you to prepare your own meals and some restaurants within close driving distance. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming and helped organise a jeep for us, they do go the extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable. The location in Google maps is incorrect and it's hard to find but if you call them, the hosts will send someone to guide you.

The villa is quiet and surrounded by the forest. Lots of birds singing. The villa has an open air design in which the kitchen and dining area are open to the outside. The kitchen is covered by the roof. The two bedrooms are air conditioned and have ceiling fans which is nice. The bathroom is beautiful and outside in a garden-like atmosphere. Surrounded by a high wall for privacy. The owners, Hasantha and Prasadi are the nicest people you will meet! We were welcomed with fresh fruit and fruit drinks. Between the relaxing location, the charm of the property and the welcoming graciousness of Hasantha and Prasadi, I can’t imagine a nicer place to stay in Udawalawe. If we are ever back in the area, would gladly visit again.

I had the pleasure of spending a month with the host of this hotel, she is one of the most warmest people I have ever met and I am hoping to visit her hotel soon.
