This is a really nice villa very close to the national park. The accommodation cannot be faulted, it is rural but very clean, spacious and well equipped. The bathroom is completely open, with no roof and it has warm water (not hot, but warm enough). The bedrooms are completely closed, spacious and the beds have new mosquito nets. The beds are comfortable but because it's in the wild, you will hear all kinds of nocturnal animals during the night, you don't get to sleep much if you are used to complete silence, but it's all part of the experience, so I didn't mind.
The kitchen is partly closed, it's hard to explain, it's opened to the garden on one side and about 2/3rds have a roof, (I will upload a video on utube soon). Despite being in the middle of the countryside, I didn't see any mosquitoes because the owners have cinnamon oils burning to keep them away.
The hosts provide meals on request, but bear in mind that the meals are cooked somewhere else and bought to your villa so they are only lukewarm by the time it gets to you, however the taste is good. The cost of breakfast is 5uds p/p and dinner 17usd per adult which is very expensive for Sri Lanka, probably, the most expensive meal we've had. If you don't want to spend that much, there's a kitchenette for you to prepare your own meals and some restaurants within close driving distance. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming and helped organise a jeep for us, they do go the extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable.
The location in Google maps is incorrect and it's hard to find but if you call them, the hosts will send someone to guide you.
