Beautiful, peaceful Chateau
Came here in August 2018 as a family group and had a fantastic two weeks. We spent a lot of time in the pool which is big and well kept, the children just loved it. The bedrooms are beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and furnished, like being in a hotel! It was a joy to wake up each morning in such lovely surroundings with amazing views too. There is a lot of interesting wildlife to discover around the property - owls, wild boar and glow worms to name but a few! We also loved exploring the local area - Aurignac is full of history, the market at Bologne-sur-Gesse is great and we had several day trips to the Pyrenees, including a drive into Spain! Mary-Jo was extremely helpful answering our queries before our stay and making sure we had everything we needed once we were there. Chateau Florian is a fabulous place, we have many happy memories!

Séjour très agréable chez Mary-Jo et Jon. Nous avons trouvé une magnifique bâtisse authentique restaurée avec goût. (Modernité et respect du bâtiment originel).
Rien à prévoir niveau logistique ! tout est là (vaisselles, draps, serviettes, lits enfants....) !
Equipement récent, très bien entretenu et propre.
Merci au propriétaire qui a su se montrer disponible sans être envahissant.
Bref un séjour très agréable et chaleureux entre amis (nous étions 12 + 2 enfants) !

Great villa, wonderful location
Beautiful villa in a lovely peaceful location. Lots of space inside and out. Enjoyed the bike hire and kayaking at nearby Pyrenees. Hope to go back asap.

Lovely house, beautiful landscape
First of all I have to apologise if there are mistakes (;
I stayed at the chateau in July for 1 week and I really enjoyed it. It is located in the middle of fields. The only thing you hear is the nature.
The towns around the chateau are very beautiful and old.
It is a very nice place to stay and for me it definitely wasn't the last time.

Perfect, get-away-from-it-all summer destination
We stayed in Chateau Floran for a week at the start of August 2015, with 3 grown-up & teenaged children & friends, and both sets of parents. We wanted a week of complete relaxation and this was the perfect place for it. Beautiful accommodation, carefully and tastefully renovated and decorated, a lovely pool, boules set & badminton, and plenty of space for us all to do our own thing. We were lucky to have wonderful weather, and the proximity of the Pyrenees enticed us away from the pool for one day of picnicking and walking in the foothills, which was lovely. The owners were organised, helpful and friendly and everything went very smoothly. Thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing break in a beautiful setting.

Great place for a group of family or friends
We very much enjoyed our stay. The facilities are excellent, comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Everyone was happy with their rooms. The pool was a real bonus and the children went in several times most days. It was nice to also have a selection of indoor and outdoor games to keep everyone busy. The local area around Aurignac has a network of interesting tracks making ideal walks or off road bike rides. There is an activity centre with lots of different high rope courses to suit all ages about 40 mins away.

A Haven of Peace and Tranquility
The most wonderful place to relax and unwind. Surrounded by nature and set in its own grounds, Chateau Floran is the perfect place to get away from it all. The house (parts of which date back to the 13th Century) is lovely with lots of original features and character, yet all mod cons necessary for a very comfortable stay. Set in the middle of the French countryside, with a pool, a pond and a river, there's plenty of opportunities to be near water.
Will definitely be going back.

So relaxing...
We spent a short break at Chateau Floran and found it to be the perfect antidote to busy life. A charming location, quite literally in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by trees and fields and with a river running nearby. The rooms are comfortable with lovely views and the kitchen is large and very well equipped. The wifi worked well throughout the property - our only real contact with the outside world! We made good use of the plentiful outdoor furniture and, although we didn't use it, there's a huge barbecue and a covered outdoor kitchen.
The nearest small town is Aurignac (10km) which has typical facilities - shops including mini markets, bakers, bars and some charming restaurants as well as plenty of medieval buildings. The elegant town of Saint-Gaudens (12km) is larger and has everything you could want along with lovely views across the Garonne valley.
Wherever you go you see the Pyrenees in the distance - in our case, snow-capped at the beginning of May - a reminder of the medieval chateau's original purpose as a defence against the Spanish!
A definite hit and one that we're looking forward to repeating.

Chateau Floran
This is a great place to get away from it all. Having its own pool, WiFi, big screen TV and modern kitchen. This is not roughing it, but enjoying comfort.
If you need to do activity with younger people, the mountains are near by for mountain biking, white water rafting and high rope courses.
We have been three times and found new places to go each time.

Dépaysant!
Lieu plein de charme, reposant, piscine agréable. Bien isolé si l'on veut être au calme, et ne pas vouloir trop visiter à proximité.
