Great beach rental for a family

We had a great stay at this property! Everything was recently renovated, clean, and well stocked. The large windows let in tons of light and provided a great view of the wetlands. The beds were comfortable, and the finished basement with large TV and new shuffleboard table was a lot fun for the kids. The large natural gas grill and new appliances were great for cooking. The location is peaceful and quiet, but not too far from downtown Chatham and other attractions. It was also even closer to the beach than we realized and was an easy walk even for the kids. Ridgevale beach has plenty to do with the both the ocean side and tide pools and streams on the other side. The double outdoor showers that are right on the back deck made things much easier after a day at beach. We also made good use of the beach chairs, boogie boards, and cornhole, and the yard was plenty big enough for other games. It would have been nice if there was an outdoor dining table on the back deck, but there is not much room for one with the double showers and grill. The indoor shower had an odd design with a swinging glass door that also let some water out. Having just the one bathroom was a bit of an adjustment but is manageable. Overall this is a great property for a family looking to spend a week or two at the Cape and be within walking distance of a very nice beach. I would highly recommend it!
