In serious need of updates - old and in disrepair
Stay away! We rented this property because it was supposed to be beachfront and pet friendly. You can barely see the water as it is behind the dune and the path to the beach is steep and treacherous and is not a boardwalk as pictured. It is sand. The house is not 3 bedrooms. The front porch was converted to a living room and the actual living room is represented as a bedroom so everyone has to walk through it to get to the bathroom. The plumbing is ancient with separate hot and cold faucets in the bathroom sink. The bathtub does not have a hand held shower as it was detached and never put back on. There are so few outlets in the house we barely could find places to charge our phones. The kitchen is makeshift and so many things are plugged into one outlet it can't be safe. Also there are ants. Basically staying here is a step up from camping. The furniture is old and the clinch is really porch furniture. The only good thing we could say is the beach and bay are grievous once you make the climb down the dune.

wow, some people are really something. This tenant made no complaint during their stay, and even rebooked for next year.
It was only after they were informed that they didn't leave the property as required and the cleaning cost an extra $40 due to a couple of throw rugs being stained and needing to be laundered and extra time to clean up after their dog and sticky stuff left on unwiped counters that they all of the sudden they have a problem with the house. No, the house is not new and is not shown as new and no you don't have to walk though a bedroom to get to the bathroom, there are 2 ways to get there. This is a classic beachfront cottage that will allow a pet (most do not) and it has a triple lot, which gives it the largest private beach in the entire area.
It is a shame that some people resort to making up things and leaving bad reviews when they don't like the fact that they have a lousy $40 held from their security deposit because they cant follow directions that are in the lease, handed to them upon check in and posted clearly in the office at check in.
If you use bad reviews as revenge shame on you.

Fabulous location for the entire family
Fabulous location steps away from the gorgeous beach. The home is comfortable, although not much lounging area for watching television (although that is not what you are there for), with enough living space for all. Beach is pristine. Fun for the whole family!!

Great location with beach just over the sand dune.
Quaint cottage on the beach. Great location and easy to get to without alot of traffic delays. Cottage is full of old family antiques with lots of area to sit and relax. Some furniture lacked some comfort but you are there for the beach. Don't expect a condo, it is more like visiting your Grandparents house at the beach. For location and sized for 6 people a good value overall. We will return.
