We zijn hier 1 nacht gebleven Toen we aankwamen was het buiten een timmerwerkplaats Ze zouden hier om 17:00 uur mee stoppen maar werd 21:30 Toen we er iets over vertelden tegen de eigenaar moesten we ons hier maar niets van aantrekken 🙄 Ook in Kruger is er geluidsoverlast in de avond dus dat het hier was moest geen probleem zijn vond de eigenaar ! De Lodge was heel gedateerd en heeft zeker een schoonmaakbeurt nodig De kleedjes op de vloer hebben we maar opzij geschoven om ze te vies waren om op te staan(dit is ook echt waar) Alles is donker grenen en gedateerd De ramen hebben niet allemaal gordijnen waardoor iedereen naar binnen kan kijken Het is voor ons zeker een plek waar je niet wilt zijn voor een tussenstop op een vakantie .

Accueil correct, chalet vintage qui necessiterait d"etre remix au gout du jour pour l'eclairage, la plomberie capricieuse, une TV hors d"age,une Wi-Fi absente, un petit dejeuner cher par rapport aux tarifs de Graskop, sans vrai café (soluble), il me semblait pourtant que l"Afrique du Sud etait producteur??! Quel dommage car le site est merveilleux.... Et particulierement bien situe.

We spent two nights at this lodge. Here are the pros & cons of the place: Pros: If you look for peace & quiet in a safe environment in South Africa, you cannot beat this place. The price is also unbeatable. The self-catering suite we had was well-equipped, super clean and daily room service was available. The bed was very comfortable and there was constant hot water and water pressure. If you got a room closer to the left end, you had a good view too. If not, you had a roof in front of you! Cons: We were hoping to do some work in the quiet environment, but Wi-Fi situation was very unsatisfactory. It was available only in the small office, that too when the secretary was there. She left at 3.30p.m. Very disappointing. There was only a very limited subscription to TV, so it was not conducive to settling down with a good movie in the evening. Sitting-room was very uncomfortable with a stiff cane sofa, which gave me a backache. All in all, the place is OK if you want to use it as a base to do sight-seeing around. For us, who come to South Africa very often, the lodge was a bit impractical.

Nous avons passé une nuit ici lors de notre trajet vers le Kruger National Park. Les propriétaires nous ont reçu chaleureusement et le chalet était très propre et conforme à la description. Nous recommandons!

Stayed for 3 nights and used as a base to explore the local area. Wendel was very helpful and gave great advice about the local area, where to visit, eat etc. etc. Chalets were very nice and only 10 mins stroll from the Berlin water falls. It's an easy 5 min drive into Graskop to eat out and I think a better option than staying in town.

Van 17 december tot en met 20 december sliepen wij in het huis van Wendel. Wendel is een super aardige en behulpzame Man. Wij sliepen in de gezinsbungalow, twee slaapkamers, grote woonkamer en grote keuken. De braai staat voor de deur. Kwaliteit van het huis is prima. Wendel is Ecoloog en weet veel can de omgeving en het Kruger Park. Hij heeft ons goede tips gegeven voor het Kruger Park maar ook een mooie wandeling in de omgeving waar je kunt zwemmen bij een waterval.

Je recommande vivement cet hébergement cet établissement ! Le propriétaire est très accueillant près à vous rendre service en toute occasion.

Belle casette in località tranquilla, poco distante dal paese di Graskop, dalle Berlin Falls e dal Blyde River Canyon. Gli alloggi sono inseriti in un bel giardino curato, sono ampie e comode. La casa n. 1 era l'abitazione del proprietario quindi è un po' più grande delle altre, con un bel salone con caminetto funzionante, decisamente utile nei loro mesi invernali quando la temperatura esterna è bassa e c'è molta umidità (in casa non c'è riscaldamento, solo dei radiatori elettrici nelle camere). La cucina dispone dell'essenziale, non è molto ben equipaggiata.

Serie di appartamentini molto belli forniti di tutto, compreso barbecue e caminetto. Staff gentile e disponibile. Molto pulito. Scarsa la connessione Wi-fi, presente solo vicino alla reception. Qualche difficoltà con gli utensili di cucina, facilmente danneggiabili, abbiamo dovuto pagare una penale. ottima la posizione.

We only stayed here for 2 nights but could easily have stayed for longer, the chalet was clean, well furnished and lovely. The location of the property was great for visiting all the main sights of Blyde River Canyon and in walking distance of 2 waterfalls with beautiful views where the swimming is great, if a little cold! Wendel the owner is very friendly and helpful and is very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this place to everyone!
