Lovely cottage
Top class cottage set in the beautiful country side,15 mins to 30 mins away from all amenities absolutely everything in the cottage you could ever need.very clean and well maintained and Adrienna couldn't of been anymore helpful.very highly recommend this place and we will definitely be going back.many many thanks Adrienna for making our stay. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Perfect getaway
Had a fantastic, comfortable stay at the Wee Bothy and the grounds in which it is set are wonderful with lots to explore. It had everything we needed and more! Our dogs were made welcome too with a cosy bed, treats and their own doggy towels and bowls.
You are in a perfect place to explore the local interests or just relax and watch the abundant bird life from the window!
We made the most of our week and the weather definitely helped. We would highly recommend the Wee Bothy and hope to return ourselves.

A perfect place to stay!
I cannot recommend this cottage enough!
We stayed for 3 nights and wished that we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens and also made use of the tennis court.
The house was emaculate and had so many thoughtful touches that made us feel very at home.
Thank you Adrienne who was a great host!

Amazing place
Honestly can’t say enough about the Wee Bothy. Booked as part of our honeymoon and hosts were incredible. Very welcoming and even left us a card congratulating us on our wedding and made several recommendations (we went to them all). The grounds in Carnell where the Wee Bothy are situated are amazing and you can tell there is a real pride in its upkeep. The Wee Bothy itself is really homely and is perfect for a couple or a small family. Adrienne made sure that milk, bread and essentials were provided on arrival which was a lovely touch.
It is a great location and wouldn’t think twice about returning, couldn’t fault it!!

Lovely stay
Had such a lovely stay over the weekend. Adrienne was incredibly accommodating and friendly. The cottage had everything you’d ever need in a lovely location with lots to do.

Great Find!
The Wee Bothy was a real find - spotlessly clean , well-equipped and in beautiful grounds . The hosts Mickey and Adrienne dropped in with home grown produce as well as leaving a very generous welcome pack. Quite simply a lovely place, owned and run by lovely people !

A relaxing hideaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely, little cottage. The Bothy has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. The tranquil surroundings are doggy heaven and we all enjoyed exploring the beautiful area of Ayrshire.

Ticked all our boxes and then some!
A beautiful cottage, full of thoughtful touches. It is adjacent to a stunning walled garden, which we had access to. Hosts could not have been more helpful and friendly and we had a wonderful experience. We would love to go back again.

Hello Claire, Thanks so much for your very kind message. So glad to read your comments. You must all come back and stay in the Garden House next time. It's like a tardis as from the front door side you can't imagine how big it is. It can sleep up to 10 or even 11 at a push!

Cosy country retreat
The Wee Bothy cottage exceeded our expectations. It was cosy and comfortable and a great secluded location in the Carnell Estate. It is even better than the photos on trip advisor. We have stayed in many cottage rentals, and this was by far the most well supplied and considered holiday rental - you could turn up and everything was there - it felt like a home. The owner even left some toys out for our young son. Would fully recommend it.

Exceptional!
We stayed here for three nights, it was absolutely fantastic. Our perfect kind of holiday - peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings.
The Bothy was very well equipped with lots of unexpected extras, a lovely touch. It was very comfortable and really felt like a home away from home.
The gardens were stunning! We were lucky enough to have lots of sunny weather during our visit, we spent most of our time in the gardens relaxing. We'd love to return and see the garden during different seasons.
The welcome and communication through the whole booking experience from the hosts, Adrienne and Micky, was fantastic. The staff in the estate were also very friendly and welcoming. Haggis, one of the dogs, was also a very friendly visitor!
We will definitely return - hopefully sooner than later.
