Recently stayed at villa Mardi for my 40th birthday had a amazing stay was so quite apart from the beeping of the odd scooter but that did not worry me at all the pool was beautiful and nice and cool, the rooms were all very spacious and clean loved that we all had our own bathrooms also, the cleaner was so sweet and could not do enough for you if needed, Michael was so easy to communicate with also. And ketut was lovely. We walked everywhere into Seminyak wasn’t far at all and I enjoy a walk so that didn’t bother me, but there are plenty of taxis around I just had the address with me Incase I needed a taxi and had no problems at all.
The only thing I would fault is putting block out curtains in the rooms as found it way to light, and would definitely invest in softer beds as I found the Mattress very HARD but that’s my personal opinion apart from that stay was amazing and was very good value would definitely stay again.

Worst stay ever
In all my travels this was my worst stay ever ! Firstly was not as advertised with tv in all rooms only dvd players only and the main tv that worked in the outdoor area only had minimal channels. I prefer to chill sometimes in the room to watch tv but instead had to watch outside with the mosquitoes. Then while in the room the air conditioning was minimal and very uncomfortable. Never have i stayed in a motel or villa that didn't supply soap, shampoo, conditioning, coffee, tea and sugar. The villa s not where its advertised on this website and in a very obscure location and taxis had no idea when told them, the property can't even be found on Google maps with any of the villa names on the front of the building. The villa itself was very run down and needed a lot of work with bathroom doors not closing, stained furniture in living area and kitchen also old and worn and lacked utensil. The last issue was the internet dropping in and out on the 4th day was out completely and had to go down the road to use WiFi to contact one of the managers who rudely hung up on me.First time ever in all my travels i left that day with 4 more nghts left on my booking with no refund. Could not fault the cleaner who came everyday to clean but that was it. Pay a bit more and stay away !!!

Villa Mardi
Loved the Villa. Ketut and staff were very helpful. I just thought it was a bit far from what we wanted from this holiday. Taxis were available and are cheap.

Extremely good price
Our flight was delayed by 1/2hr but our driver was there to greet us with a smile.
Communication was awesome and very easy.
Rooms were clean and tidy. There was plenty around to see and lots of food places within walking distance.
Given the price of the villa and the lovely staff we would stay there again

belle maison près des plage de kuta
Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans la maison , elle est bien agencé et le personnel y est très gentil et serviable (Faut parler anglais).La piscine est belle même si l'eau y est un peu froide .Les chambres sont spacieuses et les lits sont grand et confortable seul bémol il y a une moustiquaire que dans une seul chambre.
Le petit moins du séjour c'est que personne ne nous a accueilli juste le gardien nous a dit c'est la , et lorsqu'il y a un problème c'est a toi de te débrouiller pour joindre l'assistant du propriétaire qui est a plus de 1H de la villa .

Dear Loic, thank you for your review - I’ll take your views into consideration. During the dry season in Bali the water gets colder however if you visit Bali during the months of Oct - May the water (sea and pools) is much warmer! During August we called it winter here! :) Because all the rooms includes AC that avoid mosquitos we keep the mosquito more as a decoration touch rather than functional. But we have well noted your comment. The housekeeping Ketut and I we are always available for any comment you may need as mentioned in our TripAdvisor communication. Long way from beach & loud traffic
Lots of noise from traffic outside villa had to wear earplugs. No cleaning products used. Not like photo. Small plonge pool. No greenery. Noise neighbours every night. Stayed 5 nights. Rude taxi drivers as a little out of the way & want to charge more. I have been to Bali 14 times. Not worth the money. Staying in a much nice quiter villa close to double six beach AH!!! 😍

The villa is in a secondary street close to the main road, we are surprised you had problems with the traffic noise. Villa description and villa amenities are are described in our profile. Villa Mardi is Marvelous
I could not fault Villa Mardi. We were in a group of 7 which included a 1.5 year old and a 70 year old and the villa was perfect for all. We enjoyed the pool every day and the cool airconditioned rooms in the evenings. We felt safe with the rotating security and welcomed with Kadek (cleaner) coming in everyday (although she didnt have to). The manager was so lovely to us with late checkouts and recommendations around the area. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The villa had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Ideally priced villa slightly off the beaten path
Only a brief 3 night stay, but totally enjoyed the villa and the convenient location. I found it easy to reach most things I needed within a ten minute walk, otherwise there's always Taxis ready to take you further. Kadek (with her gorgeous huge smile) will visit daily, clean the villa, and she is only to help to with any requests. I only used the main bedroom, the huge king size bed was super comfy, Great open plan / open air living pavilion. TV, cable, DVD plus Bose speakers (this was a great bonus). The pool is only small, but such a welcome inclusion. Just loved jumping in to refresh, both night and day.
Plenty of choices for food, but I loved Gourmet Cafe just around the corner, (great meals and clean restaurant). Super cheap warung close by (Warung Cahaya) serving tasty indonesian food. It's always busy, so time it well if you don't want to wait.
Definitely would recommend this villa and would happily stay there again. The owner Michael was fantastic with communication, and Tik made contact during my stay to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you all at Villa Mardi for a marvelous holiday.

Perfect Bali Getaway!
My Mum and I had a great 7 night stay at Villa Mardi. We enjoyed some of the local food and the close proximity to Seminyak Village and Kuta.
The Villa is very comfortable with a lovely pool in that gets the sun.
Ketut and his lovely wife Jasmine did both airport pick up and drop off. We also did a day with Ketut and Jasmine, seeing the sights of Ubud which was great.
Kadek the cleaner and Harris the security guard are lovely and so accommodating. I would definitely stay again on my next visit to Bali.

Great Villa
After a week in busy Kuta, Villa Mardi was a very welcoming change.
The staff were wonderful and always willing to help with information and assistance.
The villa was very well kept and well equipt.
The pool was fantastic, not cold like alot of pools in Bali.
Thankyou Michael for being so helpful.
We would highly recommend Villa
Mardi for a very relaxing stay.
