Nice family condo for winter stay
Very nice condo for a family. We had great time, 25 min from Gore mountain. Would recommend to anyone.

Perfect Memorial Day weekend!
Condo was spotless and lovely. Ky was easy to work with and very responsive to emails etc. I would highly recommend for anyone interested in the Adirondacks. My son caught a big largemouth bass in the lake and we all ate too many smores! Will keep this place on the short list!

Wonderful place to stay and relax.
Beach was very close, just down the hill behind the condo. Condo was nicely decorated with Adirondack themes. Close to Lake George and to a grocery store. The farmer’s market on wed. Mornings was enjoyable. We ate outside one night at the Odd Duck, food was good. Condo is reasonably priced also. Very nice. People who lived there seemed very friendly.

BEWARE OF PRICE INFORMATION
I have nothing wrong to say about the condo. It had nice decoration, clean and well maintained. Problem was the owner. He gave me wrong information about the security deposit. When I got the quotes from TripAdvisor website, it did not show breakdown prices (rates, taxes, fees and......). I contacted the owner and I asked him, specifically, about the security deposit. He replied, "Yes, it is already included in the quotes". Two weeks after our departure I e-mailed him and informed him that I did not received the security deposit. He replied and said that security deposit was already dismissed by TripAdvisor. Still no deposit. After We exchanged few more e-mails, then he told me that TripAdvisor handle the security deposits two ways. One way - at time of reservation and other way - when the property owner claims the money. He did not tell me that before I booked the condo. It seems strange to me that the owner is not aware of website conditions when he puts his property for rent.

It was unfortunate that your information from Trip Advisor was unclear. I am sorry for any confusion with the quote that you received from Trip Advisor. Please accept my deepest apologies and know that the inconsistent application of security deposits for different customers by Trip Advisor has frustrated me as well. I have made a formal complaint to them and hope to avoid this happening to any future guest.
The reason that I told you "Yes, it is already included in the quotes" is because from what I see on MY end from Trip Advisor, that's true. Trip Advisor handles all of the financial transactions for this rental. In your situation, they never charged the security deposit to your credit card, therefore you would not get a security deposit refund. As you know, it took several discussions between me, you and Trip Advisor to figure out why you received a quote without the security deposit and this discrepancy was discovered. It is my highest priority to ensure a good experience for all of my guests and regret any misunderstanding.

Great family condo
Clean and well maintained unit a few steps from Tripp lake beach. Only 15 minutes from Lake George village. It's our second stay and we would definitively rent again.

Best kept secret in Chestertown, NY
As a one income family, we're always looking for a place to stay that is affordable and close to Lake George as it's been a family tradition to visit every summer. We used to always camp at Hearthstone State Park Ground, but when we found this place, we had to give it a try. My family and In-Laws came once and we have been hooked ever since...I believe this is our third year in a row staying here and with a few mini weekends up here as well. It's an amazing condo that is kid friendly, close to the beach, close to pickleball courts, and close to Lake George. It's a summer tradition and we look forward to it every summer. Ky is amazingly fast with emails and is very accommodating. We are extremely thankful that we found this place and we look forward to many more visits in the future. Nora is extremely helpful too while you're at the condo as well. I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is!

Awesome
It was great. My family and I had the best time. Condo was perfect and it had everything you needed inside and out. Close to where ever you wanted to go. I would definitely recommend to someone and we would definitely go back ourselves. The lake was amazing. Thank you for a great family trip.

Great Atmosphere and Accomodations
This condo captured the atmosphere of being in the Adirondeck region of New York. It was spacious and very accomodating for my family. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the firewood that was waiting for us at the end of the day after skiing was well appreciated, You have decorated your place with the warmth and coziness of being in a mountain chalet. We enjoyed playing the games you provided also! Sledding was a blast too. Hope we can enjoy your place again next year!

Awesome Condo - everything we needed
The place is cozy but definitely bigger than it appears in the images. It easily slept my group of five people with plenty more room. The condo was clean, well maintained, with everything you need from a full kitchen, nice dining area/living room, and many beds. I traveled during ski season and the drive to Gore mtn. was about 25-30 min. I highly recommend this place. The owner was prompt at answering all my questions and was a pleasure to work with; he made us feel welcome at his place.
