Well we are very disappointed at this review especially because we work extremely hard too keep these apartments and complex up to a very good professional standard above what else in on offer and have been doing this successfully for the past six years ,we even have procedures were customers can leave a note for maid or inform her directly or use the free phone local phone to contact us so that if a customer has a issue we can sort it on the day depending on the time of day or by the next day for sure . As for the review customer he is right on one thing and we apologize greatly for that but for the other issues a little economical with the truth you will see for the following. First our apartments are self catering apartments with a daily maid cleaning service when you arrive you will receive a welcome package of refreshments 2 beers 1 bottle of water 1 bottle of coke also milk  sugar and some tea and coffee you then have  washing liquid toilet paper and a bar of soap we provide an instruction and information sheet in French and English explaining among other things that once these things have finished that you will have to replace them yourself as you are staying in a self catering apartment with directions to the nearest supermarket Popo 10 minutes away never thought about salt but will now add this to the package . As for kitchen tools and  equipment  we provide  1 small 1 medium and 1 large  saucepan 1 small and 1 medium frying pan spatulas and wooden cooking spoons  a set of 5 good cutting knifes salad bowls  and other kitchen essentials. Also included microwave kettle coffee maker and toaster also the following matching items matching because when broken we would replace the complete set are listed as following matching sets of dishes cups beakers wine glasses and cutlery to cater for  four people with tv hairdryer washing machine iron and ironing board included also Rooms are cleaned daily but not on Sunday by the maid , bed linen and towels changed after every three nights or earlier if customer request this. But sad to say this is were we went wrong this did not happen with our reviewer the thing is it is not his fault the gentleman arrived on the Thursday and they were booked to stay six nights so his linen changeover as there is no linen change on Sundays would have happened on the Monday when the maid knocked at their door to clean and change apartment on the Monday they said they did not want to be bothered as they were staying in the apartment all that day so now the maid has to do the change on Tuesday and their last night of stay , well the maid thought that it  was a waste to do the change over as the linen would only be used for one night as they were leaving the following day so only cleaned the room on the Tuesday , we have now explained to her that it doesn’t work like that and the next time a customer request she does not do the room then she either hands the linen  to customer or leave the linen and towels in a basket in front of door so that this never happens again all I can say is we are very sorry for what happened to the customer with there linen changeover and will endeavour to the best of our abilities that this never happens again in fact it definitely must not happen again . He also said he wrote an email to the owner about internet he did and we did answer him this is our exchange verbatim (: Hello. Internet is not working well, it is impossible to use. To write this message I had to go in a bar. Please try to solve the problem because I really need in the evening. Thanks a lot! :) Our reply below  (:Hello I have just done a remote check internet there working fine but rebooted the modem anyway you should reboot what you have as you maybe having a ip address conflict ..Abi  :)   What we do when a customer lets us know that there is a problem with internet we will check it out as soon as we can which basically means as soon as we have access to a computer to do a remote check of modem and do a speed check and a tracert check which we did and found no problem at the time of his complaint which we answered and checked modem within 45 minutes of the complaint . I was also at the complex the following day checked with my phone and laptop and everything was working fine with these two things . What he was saying is that he was having a issue of very slow speed which either because someone was  uploading at the time or there is firewall or ip address issue as none of the other customers staying at the same time as this gentleman were complaining about any internet speed issues  or any other issue. The thing is ( sad that it is ) we make the internet access one of our priorities as  this in the tourism industry is now the number one complaint hence the remote access so we can check at any time of day that the connection is up and working well and as we pay four times what someone would pay in Europe , we need to know we are getting value for our money so once something does go wrong we just call the local internet provider service Orange who will check at their end on their server or come out and do repairs within three working days . So I sort of resent the insinuation that somehow we are providing a inferior service on purpose I mean why on earth would we deliberately want to have a bad internet connection when we are paying a high cost for the fastest connection you can get in Mauritius at the moment I mean why would we be perverse to the our customers and ourselves in that way and what would be the advantage . As for the pool over the time of the six days this gentleman was staying at the complex I happen to be there on three separate days as I was supervising some redecorating work and on all those occasions I saw nothing wrong with pool the pool was spotlessly clean on all those three occasions we also have a company that comes twice a week to check clean and keep up the chemical balance of the pool also the gardener cleans pool on the alternative days except Sunday. As for he could get better for Euro 60 per night perhaps he could but then he only paid Euro 50 per night for his November stay and also our pricing is from Euro 35 to a maximum of Euro 55 for high season so Euro 60 is definitely not true or perhaps he was just mistaken . We run a professional business all a customer has to do is phone one of our contact numbers via the free customer phone at apartment or leave the maid a note or just mention to the maid their wants and they will be sorted out in a timely fashion we want people to come relax and chill and enjoy there stay not frustrate them . Look its a much easier business for everyone to take the friction out of someones stay than to put friction in to there stay .
