And of course there is the amazing amenities; decks, hot tub, fire-pit, Game Rm, wood-burning fireplace, and more! Here is the mountain log retreat lodge you have been looking for! Located inside the private gated community of Catawba Falls Preserve near Black Mountain, with unbelievable long range views at the headwaters of the Catawba River. Totally private setting, affording bedrooms with en suites. Large soaring vaulted great room w/stone fireplace, huge chef's grade kitchen (updated with new granite, lighting and range). Second story with two guest rooms en suite baths and loft area overlooking great room and views. Extensive wrap around deck for entertaining overlooking level back yard with privacy and VIEWS. Open floor plan features ton of natural light. Large laundry/ mud room with plenty of storage off two car garage. Recently installed metal roof, decks stained and exterior in great shape allowing you to relax and luxuriate to your heart's content. Plenty of level yard and a Family/Rec room for entertaining on lower level. End of road privacy with lots of nature around. (And of course the HOT TUB!!!) Stunning views

The view from the Great Room is even better from the huge deck overlooking the mountains. There is something special about enjoying these vistas with your morning coffee while sitting in the hottub out on the deck. This spacous home provides opportunity for tranquil pursuts as well as family activities in the basement Rec Room. The quaint village of Black Moutain is close by, offering shops, restaurants, and other services. Asheville is a little further, but still only a short drive away. A wonderful place to escape your "everyday!" After spending a little time here, you will want to return!

A breathe of fresh air!

The house and view were both so breathtaking that we had to force ourselves to go into town to enjoy some delicious meals! There was something about the expansive interior with high ceilings and wooden logs that almost created a magical feeling to it each time one entered-either from a trip downtown or just walking in from the porch. The views were spectacular and the air so refreshing. We sat in the hot tub late at night looking at the stars. Just what the “doctor” ordered for my husband who was about to undergo surgery. I am a stickler for cleanliness in places I visit and I could not say enough about how clean it was. The kitchen was so beautiful that I felt compelled to leave it as spotless as when we arrived. We cannot wait to return!!
