Ours was a short stay, whilst attending a wedding. The apartment was spacious, clean and cosily decorated. We received a welcome pack on arrival, including a bottle of wine, which was greatly appreciated - and a lovely touch. The dining room is beautifully light and airy, overlooking the gardens. The apartment is well equipped, with everything you would need. Reading the visitor's book, there are excellent walks in the area, which we didn't get to experience due to the wedding. Highly recommended.

Everything you need in a modern apartment with a beautiful quiet setting.
This apartment is one of four situated in a converted barn on a lovely old-fashioned garden centre. It is a beautifully equipped and the owners respond quickly to queries and are very kind and helpful. The little village backs out onto the Ridgeway, making it a peaceful retreat for walkers. The market town of Marlborough is only three miles away too, so you are not short of shops and restaurants.

Absolutely amazing!
We stayed here for a couple of days and it was so goood! Eventually we had to move on to other locations and it was so hard not to compare with Buckerfields Barn. We would love to come back some day.

We are so glad that Laura and Catalin enjoyed their stay and appreciated what we try to offer our guests here in Wiltshire. They loved the plants on the nursery which reminded them of their garden in Romania. They also went to the Fairford Air Show which is interesting. We hope that they will return. Sonia & Terence.

Excellent and comfortable apartment in lovely surrounds
We arrived to a warm welcome.Apartment 2 exceeded our expectations -modern kitchen and bathroom with good shower,very comfortable bed (slept very well) airy diningroom,and comfortable lounge. Outdoor seating to enjoy attractive garden surrounds . Generous supplies ,wine,plus little touches like fresh flowers were apreciated. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A absolute gem of a place. Accommodation was 5 star. Rarely do you find such a gem when travelling. Congratulations to Sonia and Terence for creating such a wonderful place - and thank you for fresh eggs, butter ,mil ,bread and bottle of Claret to welcome us .See you again in July!

Peaceful Oasis
Well equipped accommodation and very peaceful and relaxing location. Lovely fresh eggs, bread & butter made a great breakfast! Would definitely return.

Ruim en heel compleet appartement op een heerlijk rustige locatie
Heel compleet appartement van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk stil met uitzicht op de mooie heuvels van Wiltshire. Direct naast wandelroutes. Heel centraal tov snelweg en bezienswaardigheden. Zeer attente eigenaren: melk, eieren, brood en boter bij aankomst in de koelkast zodat je altijd je eerste maaltijd kan klaarmaken. Kruiden, koffie en thee ook aanwezig. Prima verzorging en absoluut reden om nog een keer terug te gaan. Een aanrader!

We don't know how to translate by computer, but one of the grandsons managed to do so, and it seems you enjoyed your stay with us which is very pleasing. Superb
It does what it says on the tin and more. Fantastic location in the countryside yet close to Marlborough and very convenient for visitng Bath, Salisbury and the Cotswolds. We had an upstairs apartment and it had everything we needed. The bed was amazing very comfortable and huge - you could get lost in it. Very well planned kitchen with nice little touches such as milk, butter, fresh eggs and wine left as well as dishwasher tablets and other basics. The views were just wonderful and to sit in the conservatory to eat with views of the hills all around us was a real treat. There are 4 apartments and each has a conservatory to enjoy. Underfloor heating and constant hot water as welll as fluffy towels was appreciated. There's a great garden outside for your use and parking. Its one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in and we will be back

Un séjour parfait
Nous avons passé 5 jours à Buckersfield Barn, un excellent séjour à tout point de vue.
L'appartement est très confortable avec un accès à un magnifique jardin.
L'accueil de Sonia est très chaleureux et l'environnement très paisible.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les petites attentions des propriétaires :une bouteille de vin,du pain, des oeufs frais,du lait et du beurre.
Nous recommandons vivement ce logement si vous souhaitez découvrir cette région d'Angleterre

Couldn't have wished for better
Booked last minute weekend break. We were lucky to find Buckerfields Barn. It was in good location for walking parts of the Ridgeway and visiting Avebury and Devizes which were on our list of things to do. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and everything you could possible need was provided. We loved being able to look out of the window at the plant nursery and also watching the swallows on the telephone wire. The stay was made even better for my husband as Wadworths 6x beer was available locally!
